The first-ever #REVOLVEawards went down in LA, with our favorite style stars, influencers, models, and more in attendance. There were a slew of LBDs, loads of embellishment, and a heap of sultry slits.
Let’s get into the evening’s ensembles:
Teyana Taylor was fierce in a one-shoulder slit NBD little black dress.
Draya Michele blew me away in a sequin h.ours dress with a sexy tie-up side.
Chrissy Teigen dazzled in an embellished slit gown from her own Chrissy Teigen x REVOLVE collab.
Nicole Richie went bold in a glossy green slit wrap dress from her own House of Harlow 1960 line. She never disappoints.
Shay Mitchell smoldered in a lace-up h.ours LBD. Gorgeous!
Hailey Baldwin looked amazing in a feather-accented LPA LBD that she fashioned from a previously maxi-length style.
Jasmine Tookes showcased her mile-long legs in an embellished NBD crop top and matching high-waist slit skirt, with a tuxedo blazer languidly hanging over her shoulders.
Jasmine Sanders and Terrence J were easily the night’s best dressed couple! Her Sergio Hudson LBD was simple and chic.
Chanel Iman was a literal disco ball in a silver sequin slit NBD dress.
Negin Mirsalehi certainly turned heads in a sequin Zhivago number.
Rocky Barnes was the literal flamenco dancer emoji in a red Fame and Partners gown. Gorgeous dress!
Camila Coehlo also wore a red Fame and Partners design: a one-shoulder, bow detailed mini dress. So cute.
Aimee Song was a total star in an asymmetric sleeve For Love and Lemons mini dress in the galactic pattern.
Cara Santana wore the only LPA jumpsuit I want for the holidays.
LPA designer Pia Arrobio was also in attendance, flaunting her toned midriff in a black wrap crop top and embellished cropped trousers. Her line is pure fire, am I right?
Julie Sarinana of Sincerely Jules demonstrated the power of the LBD in Zhivago. I love her style!
Kara del Toro was impossible to miss in an embellished cutout sheer gown.
Jessica Gomes was on trend in a Lovers and Friends double-breasted, tuxedo inspired mini dress. Hot!
Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What sizzled in a long-sleeve, sheer lace Majorelle gown.
Rachel Zoe glimmered in sequin pieces from her own brand.
It was all about polka dots for Whitney Port in an off-the-shoulder Lovers and Friends dress in the timeless pattern.
Delilah Hamlin slipped on a classic little navy dress.
Marianna Hewitt stunned in a silver sequin Alexis keyhole jumpsuit.
Makeup guru Hrush Achemyan added red lips and a gold choker to her sultry black look.
Stephanie Shepherd cut a fine form in a sequin LPA wrap dress.
It was all about metallics for Julissa Bermudez, in a silver slip dress and Steve Madden boots.

We’re in the throws of the Fall wedding season and we know how much of a challenge it can be to find the perfect look for an upcoming wedding. So today we’re answering a special What To Wear request, featuring Fall-worthy wedding guest outfit ideas.

For a sophisticated Fall wedding guest look, opt for jewel tones in a long-sleeve ruched dress paired with silver strappy sandals.

We’ve all fallen head over heels for this week’s beauty crush since the first episode of Scandal, fawning over Olivia Pope’s sickening fall coats to brave the D.C. weather, perfectly tailored power suits and Prada bags. Just as stylish (though not as scandalous) as her character, Kerry Washington delivers on the red carpet. The Bronx native stuns in gorgeous gowns, elevated by beautiful hairstyles and makeup that’s never heavily contoured. And with skin as velvety as hers, she barely needs any coverage, as evidenced by her most recent shoot with Allure Magazine. As far as glam goes, Washington always aims for a flawless and effortless finish. Her foundation is usually as natural looking as can be, punctuated with pops of color on the eyelids and touches of pink on the cheeks.
When it comes to Washington’s pout, she typically stays within the pink and red family whenever she reaches for a shade. With lips as full as hers, classic hues work best to emphasize her timeless essence.

Thoughts?
When your editor contacts you on a Monday and asks if you could be in Barbados by the end of the week to represent the brand at their Fashion Festival – you cancel all of your commitments, figure out what your wardrobe will be, and wait to receive your travel arrangements! This is exactly what happened to me last week, and I’m still basking in the afterglow of the Caribbean sun! I’m excited to write that I got the chance to spontaneously experience Barbados culture, and it was everything! I can’t give you an extensive list on what eateries to visit or where to shop because I was there for only a few days on business. However, I can give you the scoop on a fun activity to try, an interesting Barbadian artist you should know, and some Caribbean designers to add to your fashion list. Check out a quick summary of my Barbados adventure below!
During the trip, I had the chance to experience snorkeling in the Atlantic Ocean. At first I was hesitant because I didn’t bring the necessary products to wash my hair. But after some convincing from my travel mates, I gave in. If you are ever in the Caribbean, you must experience this adventure. There’s nothing like observing sea life in its habitat – especially in clear blue water.

While on this Barbados venture, my travel mates and I had the wonderful opportunity of connecting with an indigenous artist by the name of Sheena Rose. This talented, vivacious young lady births art that reflects her view of the world. Her work reaches beyond the Barbadian culture, and if you ever have the opportunity to view her paintings, I guarantee she has created a piece that will speak to you. Just ask tennis star Venus Williams who owns one of Rose’s paintings from her “Town” series. Check out Sheena and some of her work below.

Barbados was everything I thought it would be and more. The people were interesting, the seafood was fresh, the colors of the land were vivid, and the culture was intriguing.
