Fashion Bomb Hair Appreciation: Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Fendi Monogram Hair and Wigs as Worn by Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Kim

Cardi B posed last night in a full monogram Louis Vuitton look, complete with Louis Vuitton monogram hair.

Logo emblazoned hair was kick started in the 90’s by trendsetters Lil Kim and Misa Hylton. When asked about Kim’s iconic Blue Chanel wig, Misa told Essence, “Colored hair and designer brands were really a part of Kim’s DNA, so this was a natural progression of combining those two elements.”

Kim would rock Versace and Chanel stamped tresses to fashion shows and during photo shoots.

Hair Logo Mania has stood the test of time as we are still witnessing stars such as Nicki Minaj, Beyonce and Cardi B rock their own versions to this day.

Beyonce recreated Lil Kim’s Manhattan File 2001 cover shoot for Halloween in 2017 with a blue banged wig styled by Tokyo Stylez .

Nicki Minaj rocked Fendi printed hair as promotion for her collaboration with the brand in 2019. The blonde bob and bang consisted of Fendi’s signature “F’s” printed in Pink created by our 2019 Faby’s Award winner Arrogant Tae.

Most recently, Cardi B rocked a Louis Vuitton logo printed blonde ponytail for a photo shoot, also styled by Tokyo Stylez.

They all look bomb while paying their respect to the Queen Lil Kim!
Whose logo printed hairstyle is executed the best?
Let us know.

Fashion Bombshell of the Day Verleda from Texas

Today’s bombshell of the day goes to Verleda from Texas. Verleda’s wardrobe is bright and colorful. Check her out below.

She writes, Fashion for me is the ultimate outlet, I unknowingly yet and still purposefully can get lost in magazines, blogs, vlogs, post, pictures etc. in regards to fashion. As a hairstylist/makeup artist, my daily wardrobe consists of a lot of black, therefore when dressing outside of work I opt to live in color.

Personally, my preference of style is a bit of sass, mixed with a generous amount of sleek and a whole lot of sexy. I love my legs so I wear them well. As much as I like to be comfortable, I normally go for the highest heels because I truly believe in raising above. Currently I’m obsessed with shoulder pads, mixed prints, bold colors and lace.

The rebel in me doesn’t believe in fashion rules, I think fashion should be a reflection of your personality. Whether it’s white after Labor Day, white socks with black shoes or leather in the Summer (except in Texas), go with what makes you YOU! And FYI, if you don’t break the rules, the rules will break you!

What do you think of this bombshell’s style?

Cardi B Poses in a Custom Louis Vuitton Look By Sir Baba Jagne, a Louis Vuitton Reverse Monogram Bag and LV Logo Hair

Cardi B looked lovely as she posed for Instagram in a custom biscotti colored Louis Vuitton monogram ensemble created by Sir Baba Jagne. The designer created this look using a $1,620 A line wool silk mini skirt with button details in which he converted into a collared sleeveless halter top.

It was paired with the original skirt, a classic Louis Vuitton piece. This double face A-line mini skirt in wool and silk features the iconic Monogram motif as an allover pattern in contrasting colors. Subtle slits at the front and back add ease of movement, while button details on the front highlight the sharp silhouette. Louis Vuitton

As if that wasn’t enough to give you your fashion fix, Cardi B carried a $3,550 LV Reverse Monogram Petite Boite Chapeau and even had the LV logo printed in her hair, a hair trend kick started by Lil Kim. Now that’s a head- to- toe look.

She was styled by 2019 Faby’s Award Winner Kollin Carter, makeup by 2019 Faby’s Award Winner Erika la Pearl, and hair by Tokyo Stylez.

Perfectly paired don’t you think? Let us know and shop below.
