Gucci’s blazer is jacquard-woven with the house’s iconic ‘GG’ logo, making it an instantly recognizable piece. Tailored in Italy from cotton-blend canvas, it has a double-breasted profile with sharp peak lapels and an unrestrictive back vent.
Inspired by an archival detail, the classic GG design is paired with a gold Horsebit print, defining this neck bow. The neck bow continues to be an important design element that was introduced in Alessandro Michele’s first Gucci collection.
The GG motif is a subtle nod to the theme of reinvention that appears throughout the House’s narrative. First used in the ’70s, the monogram is an evolution of the Gucci Rhombi design—a pattern from the ’30s archives. A part of the Aria collection, it appears atop these shorts with leather trims.

Lingerie as outwear has been a key runway trend for several seasons, and Gucci is always in on the action. Made from black lace and tulle, this figure-hugging bodysuit includes a built-in bra for extra support and has fully adjustable straps. Wear it with an oversized blazer for a look that’s daringly chic.
The Gucci Aria collection takes references from the archives of the ’90s and early ‘2000s, with pieces inspired from Tom Ford’s era in Gucci. The new idea of femininity shows glamorous details, such as lace, crystals and sheer fabrics. This pair of slingback shoes are presented in beige and ebony Original GG canvas for a strong logo feel
This is a lot of look! I think if I were her, I would have taken off one item or mixed in some solid colored shoes or a solid shirt.

Welcome to the Spring & Summer Fashion Roll out series… I had the chance to jam it out with my good friend JayPaul! I have been knowing JayPaul for about 7 years and I initially met him by being on his TV show in Nigeria years ago. He is such a great host, for those who haven’t witnessed his greatness yet. Since then, I have watched this Prince grow into such a dope KING. He is growing daily in TV through acting, hosting and so much more. A lot of people have been introduced to him via the popular tv show Big Brother Naija and he was such a favorite on this show. He truly knew how to make the audience smile, which is his natural being. JayPaul feels like blood family and I am blessed to know him! Check out the Interview & Fashion Editorial with JayPaul… PS: He is on my upcoming film “HeOnlyFell” as well!

I write, “The 15 Percent Pledge is a non-profit organization created by Aurora James that encourages retailers to pledge at least 15 percent of their shelf-space to Black-owned businesses. They held their inaugural gala on April 2nd at the New York Public Library. The dress code called for Black Tie by Black Designers. Now if only celebrities on major red carpets could try to incorporate more black designers into their wardrobes. Or maybe even just 15%! What a wonderfully diverse world it would be.”
