Fashion Bombshell of the Day: Neki from Texas

Today we have a Texan Bombshell! Feast your eyes on Neki from Dallas:

She writes, “I am the editor and creator of They’re Just Clothes.”

“It’s a fashion media blog featuring fashion finds, beauty & style tips and event coverage for the modern fashion risk taker.”

“My personal style is classic and conservative…”

“… with a whimsical touch.”

” I have a “no fear” attitude…”

“… and a bold approach to style and fashion.”

” I love everything fashionable…”

“… and I am not afraid to express myself through what I wear.”

” My motto is “Style is character.” “

” My blog site address is www.theyrejustclothes.com.

” Thank you for your consideration.”

Pretty! I love when you wear those saturated, monochromatic looks, like your pink suit and cobalt blue dress. Not a fan of the white cowboy boots, but maybe that’s a Texas thing?

Claire’s Life: Ciara’s One Woman Army Listening Party

Happy Thursday!
So last night I was invited to a listening party for Ciara’s new album, “One Woman Army.”

Ever the gracious host, Ciara danced to her tracks, all the while greeting guests and snapping pix with attendees and friends like Lala Anthony, L.A. Reid, Jermaine Dupri, and more.

When I told her about the Fashion Bomb, she said, “Oh yeah, I know that site!” She divulged that she was wearing a Lanvin serpent print dress, which she accented with thigh high boots and fingers full of sparkly rings.

Werq!
I dipped out at a respectable hour because I’m an old lady.

For the occasion, I slipped on an American Apparel crop top, along with a Tiger Print blazer from Zara, and my absolute favorite Helmut Lang Asymmetrical Skirt.

I accented with a pair of Christian Louboutin Pik Pik studded slingbacks and a Michael Kors clutch.
As for Ciara’s album, I loved her song ‘Sweat’ featuring 2 Chainz (2 Chainz!!). Listen to it here:

“Or romantic in a white dress with color blocked heels.”

“Sophisticated and chic in floral print pants and ankle strap heels.”

“Casual and cute in a cropped top and Chuck Taylors…”

“A little bohemian in my Zara TRF tie dye dress and Jeffrey Campbell’s.”

“Casual, sexy, and free on a calm day…”

“Easy, breezy, beautiful at the beach.”

“Summer ready downtown”

“Or Day Dreaming in the City.”

Well, alright! Fantastic photography, and a great range of outfits. You know you’re a Bombshell, Lisa! You better werq.

” I love to show up and show out.”

I am an avid mixer of highs and lows and I live for high-heels although living in NYC, it’s not always practical.”

” My accessories are usually minimal because I just recently started playing [with] them.”

Claire’s Life: My Debut on Swedish TV Show State of Style!

Hey Hey Bombers and Bombshells!
So last Paris Fashion Week Shire Raghe of Swedish TV show State of Style asked to follow me around for a couple of days as I write and navigate through different shows. I was a little nervous about doing it, but decided to go for it–and I’m really pleased with how it all turned out!

The show follows me as I go backstage and attend the Allude show. You’ll see me interviewing the designer, hairstylist, and makeup artist, feeling the fabrics, and then saying “Bonjour” to a few of my Parisian homies, including former Fashion Bomber and stylist Mboko, and Lilfa of the blog Black Beauty Bag.
Take a look at Part 1:
