” Honestly, I have a hard time describing my style…”
“… but I would say it’s a mix of classy, chic, practical, and dynamic.”
“On my blog, you’ll find that I LOVE shoes so much, it’s become unhealthy. ;)”
“I Blog, obviously, because I love fashion, but also because I want to show ladies that we can be stylish without breaking the bank.”
“Oh, and I also design clothes!”
” I designed the dress I’m wearing with a yellow necklace. :)”

Happy Thursday!
Last night I was invited by Clear Haircare to a Trey Songz, Elle Varner, and Miguel concert at Madison Square Garden! Before Trey’s set, I was offered the opportunity to pop backstage to chat with Elle Varner. Of course I had to talk fashion and beauty!
She continued, “My personal style is eccentric, but it still makes sense…it’s bold [and] girly.”
Her best asset? She laughed, “My ass!” Which brings us to the multicolored Ashish dress she wore to the 2012 BET Awards.
She said, “That was my favorite red carpet outfit. It was such a beautiful dress and it didn’t have to show any skin to be sexy.”
Meow! And I had to ask her about her hair and beauty regimen! She said, “[I’m very] get up and go. [With my hair], I use a diffuser and it dries quicker. The best way is to let it air dry. Sometimes I individually curl pieces of my hair to make it look more dramatic.”
And in terms of makeup, Elle is low maintenance, saying, “My biggest thing is tinted moisturizer and mascara. I don’t like to wear makeup if I don’t have to. Give me a clean slate, maybe a little lip and I’m good!”
Cute!
At any rate, if you don’t know about Elle, get to googling. Her songs are the truth.
Check out my fave song of hers, I Don’t Care:
Feast your eyes on today’s Bombshell, stylist Khleo from Atlanta:
She says, “Some addictions aren’t made for rehab, mine just so happens to be fashion.”
“… My name is Khleo and I am a 21-year-old stylist and creator of my fashion website NeighborhoodJunkie.com.”
“… I would have to describe my style like a mood ring.”
“… I dress according to how I feel, but always do my best even on my bad days.”
” One day I can be wearing vibrant colors and the next Im into All black everything.”
” That even goes for my multiple changes in my hair color.”
” I love picking out things that people question or call ugly but when I put it on they understand it or so say “that is so you”.”
“… I love fashion, its like art to me, except instead of on a white canvas its on the canvas of different bodies.”
” Creating my type of art is what I would wake up and do for free.”
“… God’s gift to me was life, my gift back is what I do with it. My gift just so happens to make people feel and look good in the process.”
Jazzy! Your green hair is bold, but it works for you.

We’re giving Chitown a bit of love today with blogging Bombshell Tori:
She types, “My style is all over the place.”
” I’m a mix of modern and vintage.”
” I work in IT by day so sometimes I’m laid back…”
“…and other times I’m pushing the envelope.”
“… I’m an avid thrifter and DIY’er…”
“… so much so that at least one item in each of my outfits is guaranteed to come from a thrift store…”
“… or it’s something I’ve “put together”.”
” I love bold lips and statement pieces.”
Cute! Your glasses are a nice touch and I’m living for your short cut! See more of Tori’s looks at Glassesandglitter.com.

Today we’re featuring Headbanger Accessories creative director Shayla from Oakland, California as our Bombshell of the Day:
She says, “ I would say [my style is] Modern Vintage Chic.”
“… I never go with the trends I just BANG in what I want.”
” Fashion for me is a feeling .”
” Sometimes I wanna wear my stilettos, sometimes I wanna rock my sneakers, sometimes I wanna lay back in my beenie slightly hanging off the back of my head, it’s just how I’m feeling. And whatever I wear, I feel sexy.”
” I lovvvvee thrift shopping just because you never see the same thing twice and it’s a rush for me. I have a storage full of clothes that I’m going to eventually turn into a store, but I must say I’m pretty attached to my vintage jackets.”
” I admire Grace Jones for her edge, Alexander McQueen for his risk, Chanel for her class and sophistication. But I just like to create my own and be an influencer.”
“I like to ” Rock to my own beat , but never off beat.””
” I’m the one on the outside of the box not creating my own space. My expression through my fashion, hair, tattoos is what makes me happy, what’s makes it easy for me to breathe.”
” As Creative Director for Headbanger Accessories my fashion sense allows me to always bring new and innovative ideas to the table. I always say ” I go in with a BANG , Come out with a BANG , Stand still with a BANG …. I’m just that….BANG “”
I love it all! Just wish some of the pix were a little clearer. If you like, follow Shayla @ShaylaBang1 on Instagram, and check out her accessories at HeadBangerAccessories.com.

Happy Monday Bombshells!
Yesterday I had the sincere pleasure of attending yet another of Daisy Lewellyn’s fabulous Brooklyn brunches. Every month, Daisy invites a host of her industry insiders and friends to fellowship, eat, and chat at a BK hot spot!
This month’s rendez-vous was at Vodou, a cozy café at 95 Halsey Street in Bed Stuy. Daisy’s friends always show up and show out, so I brought Fashion Bomb photographer Marta McAdams along to capture the moment:
Celebrity hairstylist Nicola Augustine opted for bold red in a Calvin Klein dress and patterned Wolford wilderness tights. She’s actually holding a holiday hair extension and wig trunk show next Sunday; visit her website www.nicolaaugustinehair.com for more details!
Fashion Bomb reader Amber looked comfy in a Forever 21 faux fur vest and Vince Camuto heels.
Publicist Theo Perry looked absolutely dapper in a Burberry button down and bowtie.
Theressa skewed smart in a colorblock sleeveless sheath from New York & Co.
I appreciated George’s velvet blazer and printed tee.
I was a fan of this fly guy’s cool glasses and earth tones.
And stylist Lolita bet on all black, incorporating textures like leather along with mongolian fur (I loved her DVF vest!)
After taking pix of the fashionable crowd, I posed with the hostess with the mostess, Daisy herself, who looked vibrant in a Rachel Roy sculpted sheath dress (love!).
You might notice my hair is a little brighter! Yes, I went platinum, with the help of Sammy at Noel New York. To bless the season, I applied a bit of dark lipstick. I love Cyber by MAC!
It was a fun time!

Though we’ve been featuring lots of New York Bombshells, we’re ending this week on a Southern note!
Check out Jerri from Bessemer, Alabama:
She writes, “My style is very colorblock…”
“… and modern rock!”
” I’m very daring…”
“… [I love bold] colors…”
” and patterns.”
A lot of short and tight looks, but you pull it off! Work that buzz cut, girl!

A stylish woman needs a great shoe collection, but the same old brands can get predictable. If you’re a girl after my own heart, then discovering new designers is a hobby. Sophia Webster is definitely one to watch with her playful line of footwear, sure to give more than a few points to your shoe game.
From neon hues to cutout detailing, Webster’s creations are for those who love to stand out.
Webster already has a pretty impressive resumé, having had her final student collection at the Royal College of Art picked up by Browns, as well as working with Fashion Bomb favorite Nicholas Kirkwood as his assistant. You can definitely see elements of his tutelage in her first full collection, titled “Welcome to the Dollhouse”.
Kirkwood aficionados including Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, LaLa Anthony, and Khloe Kardashian need to get their feet in these designs, stat!
You can also snag some cute clutches from Webster. A couple box styles are named “Azealia”: after Yung Rapunxel herself perhaps?
