Though he seems to always cut a pretty dapper figure in a suit, Tom Ford apparently hasn’t worked out in years. He revealed this and more in a recent interview. Amongst his other statements was one condemning Dolce & Gabbana for their views on in vitro fertilization. The designer said: “I found [Dolce’s comments] incredibly ignorant — and you can say that — and insensitive. I was quite shocked, I have to say. They haven’t retracted it all, they defended it.” (Four Pins)
A large part of the Oscar de la Renta business is in the bridal sector; the founding designer really knew how to make women not only look but feel their most beautiful on their special days. And now, with a new designer at the helm in Peter Copping, some of the industry has been wondering whether he possessed the same skill. If his first bridal creation is any indication, he most certainly does! (Vogue)
