Alton Sterling and Philando Castile are now joining the ranks of Tamir Rice, Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Freddie Gray, Eric Garner, Akai Gurley, Walter Scott, Laquan McDonald, and many more who have been victims of police brutality in recent years. We can only ask: WHEN WILL THIS END?
We can no longer stay silent and we can no longer continue with business as usual. Not today.
Philando Castile
In honor of the deaths of all these innocent lives, we will take a day of silence while we mourn and try to figure out what we can do to effect real change in the world.
We know our silence can’t bring back Alton Sterling, Philando Castile, Tamir Rice, Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Freddie Gray, Eric Garner, Akai Gurley, Walter Scott, and Laquan McDonald. But we want our readers to know that we stand with you in the struggle and will use our platform to spread awareness and shine a light on police brutality, injustice, and obstructions of justice and civil rights.
We hope you stand with us.
Love & Light,
The Fashion Bomb Daily Team

Margot Robbie made a chic appearance as she graced the cameras for the London premiere of her new film The Legend of Tarzan where she stars in the role of Jane Porter. The actress turned heads as she donned a custom Miu Miu Spring 2016 Sheer Illusion Cutout Embroidered Gown, soft blonde curls and diamond accents.
The romance-inspired dress uplifts a towering front slit, a rounded neckline and black trimming. If you ask me, the fan embroidery was the real MVP in this look!
Margot’s co-star Alexander Skarsgard also made a dapper appearance in a tailored tux.
Winnie Harlow was on hand for The Serpentine Summer Party hosted by iconic American designer Tommy Hilfiger. For the occasion, the lovely model rocked a Balmain Pre-Fall 2016 Paisley Print Ruffle Blazer, a Structured Paisley Print Pleated Mini Skirt a white lace bodysuit and silver Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Sophie’ Slingback Leather Sandals.
The eye-popping mini was showcased in the Pre-Fall 2016 presentation and paired with a matching corset, black leggings and a bomb gold-encrusted choker. A similar blazer was also presented that included the high neckline and sharp shoulders.
Winnie’s footwork was also pretty impressive! Giuseppe Zanotti‘s ‘Sophie’ Silver Slingback Sandals boast a 5-inch heels, an adjustable slingback strap and a single strap at the toe.

#MeetTheWilsons ! Congratulations are in order for Ciara and Russell Wilson. The gorgeous pair tied the knot in an intimate fairytale wedding ceremony at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England.
Celeb go-to designer Michael Costello was enlisted to create elegant custom black gowns for Ciara’s eight bridesmaids, including sister-friends Kelly Rowland, Lala Anthony and Serena Williams.
Jennifer Hudson beamed on her way to the nuptials in a coral pleated sleeve gown by Christian Siriano. Gorgeous, no?
The Johnny Was Handmade Silk Kimono was inspired by the stories and traditions of the Orients. The primary vision was to combine the elegance and grace of the Japanese kimono and pair it with exuberant prints, colors and embroideries. Each kimono is one-of-a-kind and features their own unique look. See more about pricing and sizing here!
The runway version of the dress was paired with eccentric footwear and a cream head wrap. While the look boasts a thigh high slit and exposed midriff, this little number oozes all types of sexy vibes.
Aiko’s fancy heels were also the topic of conversation on social media. The Monika Chiang ‘Michaela’ Spazzoloto Heels uplift black shiny leather, a wide ankle strap and a silver oversized signature buckle. Luckily, these gems are currently on sale – get them now!
Jhene looks great! They look awesome together, no?
Alexandre Vauthier has a particular kind of ability and dexterity when it comes to merging couture techniques with fluent-appearing dressing. There’s a real reason that women look so uncomplicated and sexy in his designs though they’re oft design marvels. Case in point: the lot of supermodels stomping down his Fall 2016 Couture runway. Jourdan, Bella, and Karly, among others.
His quintessential sultriness was combined with actual functionality—though we’re all quite clear that’s not what Couture’s actually for. Silky cargo trousers with a sheer fishnet top and silver embellished moto jacket felt ready for recreation, while slouchy embellished camo pants paired with a classic, white button-front shirt felt as classic and relatable as Vauthier has ever been.
Let’s talk about gams, shall we? The collection overflowed with leg-baring mini dresses. A feather-accented LBD was given modern flair with an oversized green sash cinching the waist and a black and gold, lurex-threaded stunner on Cindy Bruna channeled a classic tweed jacket gone completely va-va-voom.
Texture play was of incredible importance—a black, plush velvet coat was paired with glittering sequins, a brown patent leather trench was anchored with matching over-the-knee boots, an opulent fur felt like the epitome of decadence with suede boots, and a voluminous gown inspired by couturier Charles James was given edge with grommet-accented accessories.
And the grommet pieces had “it” written all over them. They didn’t quite feel new or untried (Balmain did something similar in past years and that house certainly wasn’t the first to try them either), but they did exude a certain bad-ass quality that quite frankly never goes out of style.
High-octane glamour is inarguably what he does best and there was no shortage of red carpet-ready gowns on display. Ciara would look killer in a bronzed high-neck sequin gown with a plunging neckline, while J.Lo could certainly carry off a white, tuxedo-inspired number with an exposed black fishnet leg.
The audaciousness and sauciness of the collection were anticipated, but like the old adage says: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. It was all done to a T gracefully and Vauthier’s trademark attention to detail and expert tailoring did not disappoint. We know its first wearer will be a veritable tour de force no matter where she goes. We’re only waiting to see who and when.
Few do drama and excess better than Jean Paul Gaultier: it’s the reason why he’s one of the reigning kings of couture. His latest display for Fall 2016 brimmed with fur, sumptuous textures, and sensuality—pieces that made us long for Winter though we’re currently in the throes of the year’s hottest season.
The glamour was on high from head-to-toe, literally might we add. Models’ hair was either coiffed in intricately wrapped buns accented by flat twists, or completely shrouded in circular hooded crowns—be they knit, cozy fur, or another fabric that sprung to Gaultier’s imagination.
The palette certainly skewed Fall, with rich chocolate browns, plum lips and accessories, black leather, olive, and rust.
Wearing Gaultier Couture on the red carpet means you’ll be turning more than a few heads—as well as being one of the most daring women at any event. He certainly made the case for conversation starters here (requisite for his brand at this point) with a one-shoulder green lace gown with tulle trim that took going green to a new level, as well as a strapless brown and green number belted at the waist that executed “garden party” quite literally.
Gaultier continued to live up to his enfant terrible moniker, creating eccentric and avant-garde pieces that completely surprised, oft disturbed, and quite possibly even displeased his onlookers. Not those in the audience of course because if you’re ever treated to one of his shows, you’ll certainly enjoy. Now to see who is bold enough to wear one of these designs at their next high-fashion premiere.
Teyana Taylor should have the word #Goals as her middle name.Seriously, this girl is everything wrapped in one: a singer, actress, dancer, entrepreneur, and most recently, mother. However, today we’re adding one more title to her ever growing roster: our Beauty Crush Wednesday.
Taylor has changed her beauty looks multiple times over the years. The Harlemitte first stepped on the scene with her big, thick curly hair and tomboyish nature of baggy clothes and minimal makeup. Embracing her natural beauty and raspy voice, Teyana soon began stepping out of her comfort zone and experimenting with various beauty and makeup looks. With full lips, almond shaped eyes, BIG curly locs, and a body to die for, Taylor is definitely one that knows what does, and doesn’t work for her. She’s grown over the years to encompass what she loves most about her beauty routine: simplicity.Thought her hair may change (she now sports cute pixie cuts and finger wave hairstyles), her makeup tends to stay the same. Quite natural with a nude lip, Teyana keeps her makeup to a minimum, highlighting instead her carefree hair and killer bod.
Somewhat of a tomboy at heart, Teyana Taylor does in fact excite us with sporadic bouts of color and shine with popping lips and wispy lashes. Whether straddling the fence of glam or minimal, all we know is whatever Teyana does, it has to be BIG.
She’s such a cutie whose remained true to herself, her roots, and her music. Have you heard her music? Check out her music video for her song, “UnderCover”:
The white and green silk banana leaf print featured a twill blazer with double breasting and a waist tie.
The bralette came in a crop-top style cut with thick shoulder straps, also sporting the same banana leaf look.
Her twill pyjama pants featured an elasticated waistband, side pockets and a loose fit.
Now ya’ll know Marjorie rocks head-to-toe designer, but this look seems comfy and perfect for vacation standards! If you’ve got the bread to get some D&G in your life, you can purchase her blazer here and those cute pants here.
