On the Scene at PFW24: Rihanna in Dior, Naomi Campbell in Chanel, Savannah James and JLO in Schiaparelli + More

Paris Fashion Week has put a new twist on contemporary fashion, introducing new silhouettes and sharp tailoring. From Schiaparelli taking us on a fantastical journey with statement pieces, to Chanel reimagining tweed with tulle, haute couture never looked so good.

Some of our favorite celebrities were in attendance at the Paris couture runway shows including “Bad Gal RiRi,” who showed us why Dior is still iconic after the brand’s inception in the 1940’s.

Rihanna arrived to the Dior Spring-Summer ’24 show in an all black Dior couture look including an oversized textured jacket, and matching pencil skirt. She took it one step further with leather black gloves, a ball cap, and a mini Dior handbag.

RiRi wasn’t the only one to show up and out in the color black as Actress and model, Zendaya looked sickening at the Schiaparelli show alongside Celebrity Stylist, Law Roach.

The ‘Euphoria’ star captivated everyone with her latest hairstyle debut which featured micro china bangs that reminded us of Beyonce’s ‘Telephone’ video.

Zendaya’s ensemble featured a black bodysuit with 3D braid knots down the sleeves, and a long satin skirt that draped around the waist, and was complimented with a standout train.

JLO turned heads as she arrived to the Schiaparelli show in a spectacular white custom made rose petal coat designed by Daniel Roseberry.

Her beautifully crafted coat was actually made of 7,000 real rose petals that were kept fresh and alive by hummingbird nectar. Her bold accessories included innovative gold glasses, and chunky gold earrings, which undoubtedly made JLO one of the best dressed celebs on the scene.

The gorgeous Sabrina Elba also opted for white in a two piece Schiaparelli set including a white kimono that had a black leather collar and gold chain detailing, that she styled with white tapered pants.

Her black stiletto heels with gold detailing at the toe felt cohesive with her clutch, and dangling gold earrings. We’re sure Idris Elba is always enchanted by his wife’s incredible sense of fashion.

In addition to Sabrina Elba representing for the stylish wives everywhere, Savannah James also made a marvelous entrance. The Ohio native and Interior designer came with her A-game in a black velvet off the shoulder long sleeve blazer that had fur and statement gold buttons down the center.

Her glam was exquisite with a tonal color palette, and softly smudged winged liner. We also loved Savannah’s blonde edgy bob cut that framed her face exceptionally well.

Sitting front row at the Chanel show with the legendary Supermodel Naomi Campbell, alongside Dave Free and one of the greatest rappers of all time, Kendrick Lamar.

Naomi being the class act that she is, opted for a purple and magenta tweed Chanel look with black tights, and dark frames.

Free and Lamar represented for fashion bomb men in their Chanel tweed jackets, with Free layering his graphic shirt with Chanel pearl necklaces, and Lamar rocking a black embellished Chanel beanie with light washed denim jeans and black sneakers for an urban feel.

If you thought Free and Lamar set the tone for men during Paris Fashion Week, Chris Brown really shut it down. The “Look at Me Now” singer looked so fresh and so clean in a full Amiri look at the brand’s AW 23/24 runway show.

So much so, that many of our Fashion Bomb readers were in awe when they saw Chris in all his glory. Instagram user @Lillydee wrote, Chris brown definitely was a head turner 🤗, while @soslavish_ wrote, @chrisbrownofficial killed his look drip god 🔥💧.

Today is the last day of Paris Haute Couture Week, and as you can see celebrities and our favorite style stars did not disappoint. Not only was the craftsmanship phenomenal, but it was aesthetically pleasing to see celebrities put their best fashion foot forward in new and unprecedented ways.

Who Wore It Better: Kim Kardashian and Monique Rodriguez Were Both Spied in a Cream $11,200 Louis Vuitton Sherling Jacket and $11,400 Keepall Bandoulière 50 Duffle Bag

Bombers & Bombshells! The Winter season is officially here, and celebrities have been layering up in some of the most winter luxe outfits.

When you’re a true fashionista, and always shopping the latest trends, you’re bound to see someone else with the same look. This was certainly the case for Kim Kardashian and Monique Rodriguez, who both were spied in a cream $11,200 Louis Vuitton sherling jacket.

The popular LV Shearling Down Blouson coat and matching Keepall Bandoulière 50 duffle bag that retails for $11,400 is from the brand’s FW23 collection.

Made in Italy, the coat has leather straps and closures that were inspired by the iconic Louis Vuitton trunk. In addition to a name tag on the sleeve referencing Louis Vuitton staple baggage tags. We loved the bold LV medallion featured on the right side of the coat and bag that felt customary.

While in Utah with her children, Kim posed outside in the $22,600 Louis Vuitton set that she layered over a grey sweatsuit, and paired with color block Nike low top dunks. With her hair slicked back, and mirrored shades, Kardashian gave us sporty vibes.

Mielle Organics CEO, Monique Rodriguez on the other hand stepped out in the same exact LV set, and took It one step further with her brown LV mink scarf and suede thigh high boots. The former nurse turned business mogul, looked prestigious and luxurious while attending the Sundance Festival in Park City, Utah.

If you had to choose between Kim Kardashian and Monique, who do you think wore this Louis Vuitton set better? Vote Below!

Fashion Bomb Daily correspondent, Sheek was on the scene at Urban One Honors and got the opportunity to speak with Luckett. When Sheek asked Luckett about her first designer purchase, LeToya responded that it was most likely a ‘Gucci bag.’

Toya Johnson gave us goddess vibes in a yellow Bronx and Banco gown that covered her head and was characterized with frayed edges and a long train.

Comedian and Actress, B Simone’s gown also had a long train. The Wild ‘n Out star opted for a red custom London Couture leopard print asymmetrical gown with a high slit. We loved her red lip, china bangs, and diamond jewels which oozed with confidence.

Fashion Bomb Correspondent Sheek also interviewed Muni Long on the red carpet who had nothing but amazing things to say about Fashion Bomb daily.

Dressed in a baby blue, black and white $1,810 geometrical Emilio Pucci dress, Long expressed

“Fashion Bomb daily means to me a place where black people can show their flavor, their style and be appreciated for the fashion. Right? Because I love the fact that they break down the look, give me the price, give me where I can get it, and although sometimes I don’t want everyone to know where I got my stuff, I do appreciate being nosey and seeing where everyone else got their stuff from.”

Also making waves on the red carpet was singer Summer Walker who embodied a black Marilyn Monroe with her blonde curls and strapless Dolce & Gabbana lace gown. Her ensemble felt appropriate for the occasion and we adored her diamond Louboutin mules.

From Pixels to Patterns: The Intricate Relationship Between Fashion and Video Games

The relationship between fashion and technology has been dynamic and evolving, with video games emerging as a key player.

The relationship between fashion and technology has been dynamic and evolving, with video games emerging as a key player.

The landscape of video games has transcended sheer fun and entertainment, influencing the fashion industry in unexpected ways. This link between the two worlds is evidence of the ever-expanding reach of business culture.

This article will look into the connection between fashion and video games and explore the evolution of this relationship and its impact on the two industries.

The Exciting World of Fashion and Video Games

Video games have transformed remarkably over the years from simple graphics to sophisticated, immersive virtual environments. Video games today have intricate and captivating designs that demonstrate the connection between the two.

As different game developers push the boundaries of visual storytelling, the designs within these digital realms have started to inspire real-world fashion trends. The two are positively impacting each other, which fans seem to love.

For example, you can find video game characters clad in elaborate armor, futuristic outfits, and attractive accessories. Interestingly, some fans love to dress up like their favorite video game characters.

The Influence of Famous Video Game Characters

Popular video game characters have left an excellent mark on fashion. Video game fans are going the extra mile to copy their favorite character’s fashion sense, further enhancing the link between fashion and games.

Some notable characters that influence fashion patterns include Master Chief from Halo series. In particular, his striking armor captures the attention of many.

In addition, we have the flamboyant style of Final Fantasy protagonists that you will likely love, more so if you love gaming. Another notable example is Lara Croft, the adventurous archaeologist from the Tomb Raider series.

Specifically, her tank top, cargo shorts, and combat boots have inspired a range of casual yet adventurous looks you will love. Most of these outfit ideas are excellent for wearing when hanging out with your favorite gaming friends.

Let’s say you’re hosting a game night. You want to play Fortnite together. Or maybe you want to try out poker and blackjack at the best online live casino sites. You could organize the event to be themed around everyone’s favorite online game characters.

A Growing Phenomenon

The link between fashion and video gaming is a growing phenomenon that attracts many, including gaming websites, players, and game developers. That could be because no one ever imagined the two would have such a connection.

Fashion designers and lovers are copying a lot from video games, with many seeking to idolize their favorite characters. This has positively contributed to the growth of these two industries.

The Unprecedented Growth of Virtual Fashion

The connection between fashion and video games has extended beyond the physical world into virtual spaces.

With the growth of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), you can now personalize your avatars with virtual clothing and accessories, bridging the gaps between the digital and physical closets.

Plus, virtual fashion shows and collaborations between notable fashion brands and video game developers have become quite common, demonstrating the high potential for the connection of these two industries.

In the context of video games, the integration of virtual fashion has a unique significance. Participating in games allows you to customize your avatars. This is a great way to create a virtual representation of yourself.

The digital self-expression brought about by this has become a form of entertainment by introducing an element of personal style to the gaming environment.

Style Meets Video Games Functionality

Beyond the two industries’ aesthetics, the relationship between fashion and video games explores the different aspects of clothing in virtual worlds.

As a result, the patterns and functionality of virtual clothing become crucial in games that simulate real-life activities, such as sports or racing.

Normally, game developers craft attire that enhances performance or aligns with the game’s narrative, adding a layer of authenticity to your gaming experience.

In the world of video gaming, where the focus is on delivering thrilling experiences, the style of virtual avatars is a key element.

Whether it’s the inclusion of a classic tuxedo or the formal elegance of a well-tailored suit, the clothes worn by characters add ambiance of the gaming world.

Increasing Collaborations Between Fashion and Video Games

The rising connection between fashion and video games has not gone unnoticed by key players in these two industries.

In recent years, we have experienced collaborations between renowned fashion brands and popular video game developers, and the collaborations are becoming even more widespread. It’s certain more partnerships will emerge in the future.

The collaborations bridge the gap between the virtual gaming world and the real fashion world. They are introducing limitless editions that allow fans to copy their favorite gaming characters in everyday life.

For instance, high-end fashion brands like Louis Vuitton collaborated with the blockbuster video game League of Legends to create a line of clothing and accessories inspired by the game’s virtual landscape.

The growth of these partnerships illustrates the growing recognition of video games as a legitimate and influential form of art and culture.

Video Games and Fashion Influence on Gaming Communities

As video games continue to evolve into expansive online communities, the fashion choices within these avenues are gaining visibility and influence.

Online forums like social media platforms and streaming services provide platforms for you to showcase your avatars’ styles and share fashion tips within the virtual world. You also get a chance to interact with other players.

Notably, this sense of community encourages creativity and pushes you and other players to experiment with virtual wardrobes. To some extent, this sets trends that are extending into our real world.

In online gaming, where you interact with other players, the influence of gaming communities on modern-day fashion is quite visible. It represents a hub for you to seek thrilling gaming experiences and promotes interactive gaming environments.

The connection of fashion and video gaming communities within gaming platforms adds a social dimension to the virtual online gaming experience, making your adventures more captivating.

Creative Techniques for Customizing T-Shirts

From birthdays tо family reunions, commemorate any special event with the thoughtful touch оf a customized t-shirt. These personalized shirts gо beyond ordinary party favors, making everyone feel loved and valued with their unique design.

Unleash your creativity and customize t shirts with unique font styles tо effectively convey your message. Whether you choose playful fonts reminiscent оf classic advertising posters оr opt for something more elegant, your design will be eye-catching and memorable, adding a special touch tо any celebration!

Embroidery

Embroidery is a great way to add an eye-catching element to any shirt, whether its simple shapes and words or elaborate, detailed designs. With its versatile capabilities, embroidery offers endless creative opportunities that are sure to turn heads wherever it appears! If you want a truly distinctive and personalized shirt that will turn heads everywhere it goes Embroidery may just be what’s missing from your closet!

Embroidery can also help cover small holes or stains on thrift store finds or add an extra touch of luxury to high-end clothing. For optimal results, select cotton embroidery thread with sheen or luster that complements the fabric you are working on.

Typography is an amazing t-shirt design idea that allows you to convey a message without using images. By selecting fonts that represent your brand’s style and reflecting customer interests, typography helps your t-shirt designs stand out from competitors and drive sales. Conduct market research to discover what brings together your audience so you can design with them in mind.

Dye

If you’re designing custom shirts for your business, try experimenting with dye techniques. This printing method adds color and character to any t-shirt design; perfect for adding some personality to your brand!

Dye is an effective solution for creating various designs, from small logos and monograms to complex full-color patterns that would be difficult or even impossible to screen print.

Be mindful that dye colors can evolve with changing trends; aim to maintain a consistent palette across your brand’s color choices. Wash shirts prior to submersion in dye for even results and to prevent too dark or uneven coloring results.

Once you’ve chosen a design, test it on people outside of your project to assess if it communicates your intended message effectively. If not, make adjustments and retry!

Direct to Garment Printing (DTG)

DTG printing uses modified inkjet technology to spray water-based inks directly onto fabric materials like shirts. This method gives designers more freedom when it comes to design choice and printing with unlimited colors; making this an excellent option for graphic tees with intricate details or photographs, even reproducing them realistically!

Printing requires three elements: digital files of your design, an ink-loaded DTG printer with printer software and garment. To ensure optimal results, digital files should meet specific print requirements with high-resolution files having specific print requirements to guarantee high-quality prints.

DTG printing technology offers an economical solution for short run orders, making it the ideal choice for businesses and individuals wanting to sell custom t-shirts featuring their own graphics or photos. DTG is also an efficient way of capitalizing on memes and fashion trends without investing time or money into creating them themselves.

Screen Printing

Screen printing (also referred to as silk screen printing or stencil printing) is an age-old method ideal for creating large orders quickly and inexpensively. While cotton/polyester blend materials work best, multicolor designs also benefit from screen printing’s versatility.

Begin by selecting your design. If this is your first experience screen printing, start off simple by picking something with clearly defined edges that isn’t too complex or detailed – this will allow you to get acquainted with screen printing basics more quickly and gain experience.

Once your design is completed, print it on transparent acetate sheet to form a stencil and apply a light-reactive emulsion (typically Diazo or SBQ based) to coat a mesh screen screen with it.

Once your screen is coated, lower it over fabric or other material to be printed and use a squeegee to apply ink through any open areas of your stencil and press it onto your shirt. Repeat for any additional colors necessary.

A Guide to Finding the Perfect Shoe Store for Your Style

Shoe style can often be underestimated as part of personal style, yet an exquisite pair can transform an ordinary ensemble into something extraordinary.

Locating the ideal shoe store is essential in finding shoes that fit well and feel comfortable, so making sure they offer generous return policies, an extensive inventory selection and knowledgeable staff can ensure you find what’s perfect for you.

Independent Boutiques

Shoe shopping can be an arduous task, from selecting an appropriate shoe size to finding comfortable pairs that complement your personal style. Knowing where you can shop can make the whole process much less daunting!

There are many independent boutiques that provide the latest trends at reasonable prices, whether it’s penny loafers or python boots you need – you’ll find them all here.

Boutiques specialize in offering customers the latest styles as well as accessories and apparel that complement them, including shoes. Their owners understand the importance of customer loyalty, which has allowed them to survive despite intense competition from online retailers and department stores. Furthermore, these boutiques provide superior shopping experiences through personalized services while still being cost-efficient by using best practices for shoe merchandising such as placing popular items directly before shoppers and providing an easy return policy.

Department Stores

Effective marketing strategies can increase a shoe store’s sales. These may include conducting market research, offering a diverse shoe selection and providing outstanding customer service. Hosting promotional events or offering discounts is another effective strategy that can entice customers and increase brand recognition.

Shoe retailers should stay abreast of fashion trends and provide eco-friendly shoes to meet consumer demand. Their shoe inventory should remain dynamic so shoppers can discover new options with every visit.

Staff should be trained to listen carefully to customers and recommend products that will best meet each person’s individual needs. Outstanding customer service extends far beyond greeting customers with warm smiles; exceptional service includes helping customers locate the ideal size or style, navigating store layout, answering product features questions and addressing any customer complaints or concerns that arise. Such personal attention builds brand loyalty and encourages repeat business, with customers likely sharing positive experiences with family and friends, further driving sales.

Discount Outlets

One of the easiest ways to create a successful shoe store is to offer a carefully curated collection that appeals directly to your target audience, which reduces initial inventory costs while setting your store apart from competitors.

Provide value-added content like shoe care tips, style guides and customer reviews to your customers and build trust as the go-to store for footwear expertise. This will establish your store as the go-to place.

Maintaining quality control is paramount to safeguarding both the brand image and reputation of your products. Form strong partnerships with shoe manufacturers and suppliers in order to negotiate bulk discounts without compromising product quality, as well as periodically revisit your pricing strategy and experiment with different price points to see their effect on sales. Furthermore, property insurance may protect both fixtures and stock against damage or theft as well as providing workers’ compensation and liability cover if you employ staff or have an online store component.

Stores That Cater to Specific Styles

Shoes that fit you properly can save both time and money over the long term. In addition, you will avoid common foot issues like blisters that can hinder daily activities and make life more challenging than necessary.

For instance, the best online GTA shoe stores provide an expansive selection of footwear in various price points to accommodate every taste and wallet. Craving comfort and style іn equal measure? Look nо further than WALKING ON A CLOUD! Renowned for their commitment tо both, their selection boasts an impressive array оf comfort-focused brands that cater tо various styles. Rihanna is outside ya’ll, and she’s living her best life in the most lavish ensembles that only a girl could dream of. On Monday evening, she was captured leaving the members-only Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood looking fresh to death as per usual.

Opting for all black including a Dolce & Gabbana maxi dress and oversized leather fur coat, the Barbadian Princess outfit fell well edited.

The Dolce & Gabbana coat has been a fan favorite amongst many of our readers. On Instagram, @joi_louisehall shared, “The length of this coat is PERFECTION❤️,” while @shademarshelenewyork wrote, “THE COATTTTTT😍”.

The double-breasted shearling coat is from the Italian brand’s Fall-winter 23/24 collection, and retails for $17,300. Her black Gucci bag was the perfect component to jazz up her outfit.

Coming in at a splurge of $3,890, Rihanna’s Gucci ‘horsebit chain medium shoulder bag’ gave vintage vibes with a rectangular silhouette that became popular in the early 2000’s. In addition, her New Era Yankees Cap felt urban chic.

When it came down to her shoe wear, Tom Ford pushed her look one step further. We know RiRi loves a good Tom Ford open toe sandal, and for a night out on the town, she chose to strut around WEHO in an embellished heel.

Her silver crystal $3,950 Tom Ford pointy jewel sandal sit at 105 MM high with embroidered studs and a metal toe cap that’s characterized with crystal stones. Her wraparound self-tie ankle laces added another dimension to her sporty ensemble.

This was definitely one of our favorite looks, and if this any indication of what’s to come in 2024, then we are in for a fashionable treat.

From TV legends like Tisha Campbell, and Niecy Nash to producer extraordinaire Issa Rae and actress Ariana DeBose, the Emmy’s gathered “The Who’s who” of Hollywood to celebrate the postponed event.

If you recall, the Emmy’s was postponed from its customary September 2023 date due to the actors and writers strikes. Then tens of thousands of actors went on strike in July, creating the first simultaneous actor and screenwriter walkouts since 1960.”
