Fall officially kicks off next week, so leather jackets are all we can think about! We have a few faves in our closets already, but nothing says autumn like a new piece, are we right? Here are five leather jackets worth investing in for Fall:
We’re all about white year-round and this fitted biker-inspired Iro Ashville jacket is super chic.
If you can afford Rick Owens, you should always buy a piece from the brand. And if you can’t, you can always save up as his designs are truly wardrobe classics. Buy this Silver Cropped Jacket a size or two larger if you want to layer chunky sweaters underneath it for the coolest days of Fall.
Shearling is the best thing to keep you cozy. So splurge on this Joseph Reversible piece for maximum versatility.
If you’re looking for a black jacket for the season, then you have to get this Printed Leather Biker design from Off-White. No one is doing it like Virgil Abloh right now.
Are you adding to your leather collection this autumn?
Fashion month is well under way and although things have wrapped up in New York, the shows don’t stop as bloggers, influencers, and celebrities head to London next. With week one of fashion month under our belts, we’ve come up with 3 stylish outfit ideas inspired by some of the season’s chicest trends. Get a few ideas on what to wear with today’s style inspirations.
Opt for street style chic in a printed logo t-shirt paired with a ruffled vinyl mini skirt.
Offset the look in a pair of white pointed-toe ankle booties, a mini messenger bag, silver statement earrings, and a bold red lip.
Pantsuits are a staple look each fashion week season. Opt for a colorful striped option with a matching blazer and wide leg pants.
Complete the look with a mini fur shoulder bag, black Plexi pumps or embellished velvet flats, and gold jewelry.
One of the major trends this season is a boxy check print blazer. To chic up this casual look add textures with a velvet cami paired with distressed denim.
Add the finishing touch to this fashion week look with a block heel ankle boot, a velvet belt bag strapped across your chest, and oversized embellished sunglasses.
And there you have it! What do you think of these fashion week inspired looks? What trends are you loving so far from the Spring 2018 shows?
We’ve all had those moments when we’ve over tweezed, or perhaps we’re doing everything to get luscious brows but nothing is working. But not to fret! Sir John recommends stimulating hair growth by applying warm castor oil at night before bed. He also swears by L’Oreal Brow Stylist Shape and Fill Pencil to fill-in brows.
Bushy brows are epic, but they can definitely get out of control. Sir John suggests brushing them up with a spoolie and trimming your edges, if you don’t want to head to a salon to have them waxed, threaded, or tweezed. And if you have curly brows, you should actually condition them in the shower with Hair Expert Smooth Intense Ultimate Straight Conditioner.
Though some people can do a mean arch, Sir John advises going for a straight brow if you’re starting on your brow shape journey—according to the guru it gives an almond appearance to your eyes and is a universal shape if ever there was one.
All week we have been discovering London Bombshells and Bombers of the Day to help kick off Cocktails With Claire London Edition. The day is almost here, so purchase your tickets before they’re all gone!
Today’s Bombshell is Norma from Manchester, London.
She writes, “I would describe my style as being trendy, quirky, chic, modest, bold and feminine.”
“My philosophy is: “It’s not about what size you wear. It’s about how you wear your size”. I always aspire to being the best version of myself. I am a curvy woman and I try to wear what suits me and brings out my best features.”
“I am also an accessory addict – mainly because they will always fit me irrespective of what I weigh! Accessories are my constant! I enjoy dressing up as this gives me confidence to face the day.”
“I am enjoying how the fashion industry has finally embraced the plus-sized woman and has made fashion exciting – instead of the drab clothing that has previously been available. We are living in an era where people accept each other’s differences and where we look beyond one’s weight.”
“My mother heavily influences my style and has always been a fashion forward lady who is not afraid to try out new trends. I guess I have picked up these traits from her the most.”
“I mainly shop from the high street and love good bargains! I will buy from anywhere as long as it is within my budget and actually suits me.”

If you’re not wearing sequins for day, night, and every moment in between yet, designers want you to start with Spring 2018. NYFW was brimming with the shimmering embellishment from almost every single one of our favorite brands:
Marc Jacobs showed an oversized sequin-embellished jacket, accented by powerful black and white prints on Slick Woods, while Adwoa Aboah strutted down the Coach catwalk in a cool spin on the sequin pencil—that featured a velvet underlayer.
Michael Kors created the most gorgeous sequin ombre pants on Ysaunny Brito and Monse put Dilone in a fun, sequin jersey for a spirited take on one of the world’s classics.
Lineisy Montero dazzled in a sequin tulle dress we wouldn’t be surprised to see at the Emmys this weekend at Oscar de la Renta. A magenta and red embellished stunner at Sachin + Babi could also be a great Emmys party contender.
And last but not least was Binx Walton’s strong-shouldered, silver mini dress at Tom Ford. Can I have this for my Spring wardrobe please?
Yesterday closed out New York Fashion Week and Fashion Bomb Daily’s Editor-In-Chief is headed to London Fashion Week next. But, before we said good-bye to the runway shows, the late night after parties, and of course, the street style in New York—we wanted to bring you street style and interviews one last time! We caught up with some bombers at Pharrell’s G-Star Raw event and show attendees at Skylight Clarkson.
Model, @thetailoredrockstar posed before he attended Pharrell’s event in NYC. He gives us a preview to his Fall style with his moto denim jacket and all black ensemble.
Honestly, I utilize everything around me to create my look. You really have to express yourself through your apparel, hence the hat.
If you didn’t know, plaid is trending this Fall! @Laurel.thom stood out on the streets with her mixed prints as she left her last show of the season.
What’s your best Fashion Week memory? What made it so special?
This was actually my first Fashion Week experience. Sitting front row at the Denivi show at my first show ever next to a bunch of bloggers that I aspire to be like made this Fashion Week extremely special for me.
What was your favorite show?
The one I just came from, Marcel Ostertag. The pieces that he had were phenomenal. There were lots of greens and funky silhouettes. It kept me entertained with lots of prints, and I clearly love prints! It’s like organized chaos!
Fedora hats were on trend for bombers for the last day of Fashion Week clearly! @Child_rebel paired his yellow bomber jacket with Yeezy’s on his way to attend his last event for Fashion Week.
What do you love about Fashion Week? What do you hate?
What I love is that New York Fashion Week is homecoming for the fly people in New York. It’s the one time of the year we all come together and then we see each other next February. We all live in New York, but don’t see each other everyday, but when Fashion Week comes around we pick up where we left off. What I hate this year is how much they’re overbooking shows and closing it out, this is the first time I’m attending Fashion Week and they’re doing that.
What style advice would you give to your younger self?
Don’t wear Michael Kors!! [laughs] I would tell myself, don’t be trendy, keep it classy. I wish I had brought more classical or vintage pieces instead of trendy things that are completely out of style now.
I am absolutely loving these sequin sleeves! @Fresh_artise was spied in an all white look, custom jacket, and fedora hat.
What do you spend the most on when you go shopping?
Shoes and jackets because I like to look for originality and most things that people don’t have. I usually get things custom made.
Who’s your celeb style inspiration?
Chris Brown, because he’s always different and unique. He’s so dope to me!
Just when we thought her runway debut was over, she performed on the runway Saturday night at Philipp Plein’s star-studded show. The crowd applauded as Future performed his hit single “Mask Off,” and Teyana put a full production on for the crowd. She walked out in a curve-hugging bodysuit, black booties and a leather jacket she later swung on the runway before performing. She crawled, she rolled backwards, she vogued—she did just about everything and the crowd loved it.
Yesterday, Teyana closed out her New York Fashion Week runway appearances at The Blonds. She opened the show with every inch of sass in a high-cut neon blue leotard and a The Blondes Spring/Summer 18 jacket with mixed prints and neon colors. With her platinum blonde hair pulled back she confidently walked the runway and posed on a pillar while the remainder of the models walked the show.
