Get daring with some risqué new lingerie this Valentine’s Day!

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and you know what that means – time to start preparing! Your man has likely put plenty of thought into how to make that evening extra special, so make sure you keep up. Good relationships are give and take, after all.

As every woman knows, it’s the visual cues that affect a man the most, so take advantage of that little bit of science and make his senses tingle by becoming as his very own beautiful wrapped present. Because there is nothing he wants to get more than you!

And there are so many intricate, sensual and downright naughty pieces of lingerie to choose from so you can give him just that…

1.     Peignoirs.

No matter what you’re wearing (or not wearing!) underneath, nothing makes for nicer wrapping paper than a sexy peignoir (check those from Obsessive). Made of almost translucent lace, chiffon, or satin, a peignoir both reveals and conceals just enough to heat up the atmosphere before the main course. You.

2.     Bodystockings.

Speaking of covering everything and nothing at the same time: bodystockings. Not for the shy or faint of heart, a lacy black bodystocking will turn you into the world’s sexiest superhero. You know what he’ll be telling all of his friends about the next day.

 3.     Stockings.

Imagine going out for Valentine’s dinner at that swanky little place he booked for you. You gaze at him across the table and then, channeling your inner Sharon Stone, you slooowly cross your legs, and that’s when he catches a glimpse of black lacy stocking sticking out from underneath your good girl dress. Believe me, that’s all he will be able to think about until you finally get home…

4.     Sexy costumes.

Are you feeling especially adventurous? Or maybe your man has been very, very bad and deserves to be punished to the fullest extent of the law by the hottest cop he knows? Dressing up as a sexy policewoman, a dirty maid or a very, ehem, caring nurse will let both of your imaginations run wild and give you a night to remember.

5.     Corsets.

If vintage wear is more your style, a corset might well be the perfect timeless classic for you. Accentuate your hourglass figure with a tightly laced, satin corset Dita Von Teese herself would be happy to frolic in a champagne glass wearing. Pair your corset with a matching thong and a pair of stilettos, and your man is in for a view he will never forget, guaranteed.

Once you’ve got the lingerie down, the rest is a breeze – a nice bottle of wine or brandy, maybe some chocolates. A few candles. Some sensual music. The truth is, with you wearing any of the above, he won’t be able to see anything else.

So, are you feeling ready to blow his mind this Valentine’s Day? Time to get to work, it’s only a few weeks away!

Countdown to the Grammy Awards This Sunday, January 26th 2020: Our Top 5 Grammy Fashion Moments including JLo in Versace, Cardi B in Mugler, and More

The Grammy Awards are going down this Sunday, January 26th and we’ll be covering every single look on Instagram @FashionBombDaily! And while the Met Gala always brings the style, The Grammys are a pretty big day for Fashion! Stars come out to stun in scintillating gowns.

In celebration, behold some of our favorite fashionable Grammy Awards red carpet moments:

1. Jennifer Lopez in Versace, Grammys 2000

Jennifer Lopez (Photo by Kirby Lee/WireImage)

The world certainly seemed to stop and stare when J. Lo wore a barely there, navel baring jungle printed dress to the 2000 Grammys. The chiffon dress was so jaw droppingly daring yet unabashedly alluring that it quickly became a viral sensation, so much so that Versace reintroduced the dress for the 20th anniversary of garment, with J. Lo strutting the Fall 2020 runway as if she didn’t miss a beat.

Now, Versace has certainly wisened up, offering the dress for those looking to get the look. Get versions of this iconic fashion piece at NeimanMarcus.com for $6,825 for the Maxi dress and swimsuit, and $9,795 for the exact runway replica.

2. Cardi B in Thierry Mugler, Grammys 2019

As we can see, the Grammys red carpet is an opportunity for artists to make a serious style statement. Cardi B did just that in a Mugler archival piece that had her emerging from an oyster shell, resplendent in pearls.

Cardi_B_in_Mugler_Grammys

Cardi B is relatively new to the game, but she already has one of the most iconic looks the Grammys has ever seen. Do you agree?

3. Toni Braxton in Richard Tyler Spring 2001 Couture, Grammys 2001

While Robin Givhan called Toni Braxton’s barely there Richard Tyler Spring 2001 couture gown “Butt Ugly,” we call it white hot. If you got it, flaunt it, and Toni Braxton has consistently been proof of that. As J. Lo displayed, the Grammys are the time to be daring, nearly naked dresses and all. Even almost 19 years later, Ms. Braxton has still got it, and we’re not mad!

We can’t wait to see what she wears this year!

4. Rihanna in Giambattista Valli, Grammys 2015

While Rihanna has had many memorable Grammys looks, her Giambattista Valli couture number was one for the books. The sheer volume of the frock, the beautiful color, and her gorgeous face made this a stand out look for us. Hmm…do we think Queen Rih will bless us with her presence for 2020?

5. Beyonce in Michael Costello, Grammys 2014

Beyonce is another Bombshell who has slayed many Grammy red carpets (and performances). Her figure hugging Michael Costello white lace gown was one of our favorites. It fit her perfectly, and we loved her ‘messy bob’ which set a hair trend for Bombshells for years to come.

We also loved that is was such a watershed for Fashion Bomb Daily Designer of the Year Michael Costello, who credits stylist Ty Hunter for outfitting Queen Carter in the lovely look. It was bomb!

And that does it!

Which Grammy looks were your favorite? And who are you excited to see this Sunday?

Where to Shop in New York City: Go to Style Eyes Optical for Chic Sunglasses and Eyeglasses

This post its long overdue!

A few months back, I popped by a Karen Walker trunk show at Style Eyes Optical, a bomb sunglasses and eyeglasses boutique located at 1005 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11226.

I instantly fell in love with the boutique’s assortment of delectable frames. Any color, shape, or tint, they had it!

Style Eyes Optical carries frames for any age or sartorial penchant. Even my mom found something she liked!

Style Eyes Optical was founded by Haitian American Margie Toney, who dubs herself an ‘optical stylist.’ When you come into her store, she handpicks fly frames that she thinks would look great on you based on your style and face shape.

She told Rolling Out Magazine, “I am passionate about helping others. I love making people feel and look good. As an optical stylist, I can ensure that you not only achieve optimal vision but [also] that by carrying an eclectic assortment of independent eyewear, it sets you apart. I am a boutique
company, and we emphasize quality rather than quantity. The experience is
personal.”

I can attest to the personal experience. Margie is the Bomb! We might even be collaborating on a project sometime soon…!

Until then, follow Style Eyes Optical @Styleeyesoptical on Instagram, visit them at 1005 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11226, and keep it locked here for updates!

What a Magnetic Liner Can Do For Your Look

If you’re not familiar with magnetic liners, don’t fret, it’s neither scary nor complicated as it sounds. Big lashes are making a comeback, and you can’t go wrong with a magnetic liner! Those who have tried the combination love it, and it is causing a revolution in several fields of the cosmetic industry.

When it comes to physical appearance, everybody can say they have a certain preference about some facial features they consider attractive. When it comes to eyelashes, however, we can all agree that big eyelashes look beautiful across all facial shapes, and across all other factors in general.

Why More Women Are Starting to Use a Magnetic Liner

We are all familiar with the process of getting ready for different special or mundane events and the agony it can bring. Getting your makeup to work with your outfit, your style, and be appropriate to the occasion can sometimes be so intricate that it seems impossible. If we want to use the slightest amount of effort to always look our best, we need to start by picking staple products that will always be a part of our routine.

By having a product that will enable consistently good looks across different variations of your preferred makeup style, you will have your recognizable signature look. We all can accidentally go overboard in our makeup, whether with the eyeshadow, lipstick, or face contour. Even a tiny hindrance, for example – different lighting, while we’re applying our makeup, can make it look vastly different than we originally intended.

If you want a staple element that will always look natural, make it be beautiful eyelashes. From the most leisurely look to makeup for special events, pretty eyelashes always add to the aesthetic without affecting your style. Eyelashes are the most effective at enhancing your eyes, and yet remaining a balanced and subtle element of your look.

Throughout history, we have devised different ways to make our eyelashes stand out. Incidentally, the same person who came up with the eyelash extensions was the one who invented the hair perm. From there on, we have resorted to curling, mascara, dyeing, perming our eyelashes, and even glueing artificial hair to our eyelids, using glues and potentially dangerous chemicals near our eyes.

When beauty meets innovation in the wake of technological developments, the goal is to make sure that everything is as harmless and efficient as it can be, and the same goes for eyelashes. Currently, the pinnacle of time-efficient, cost-efficient, and most importantly – safe makeup technology is precisely the magnetic liner. Imagine only having to put magnetic eyeliner on, and the magnetic lashes stick to your eyelids without applying any variety of adhesive.

When it comes to having big, beautiful eyelashes, many of us weren’t fortunate enough in the genetic lottery, so we have to seek out other ways to obtain that look. Who would have thought that enhancing your eyelashes could be so fast and easy, while also not imposing any dangers of injury in the process?

The Best Magnetic Liner for You

Amazingly, we have so many ways to treat our eyelashes to make them look bigger, curlier, or all-around better. Unfortunately, most of the options for enhancing our eyelashes are either uncomfortable, annoying, or dangerous. Before the magnetic liner and lashes, we had to glue extensions, color, and even perm our eyelashes.

The magnetic liner is a part of a revolutionary eyelash system that poses no threat whatsoever to our eyes, lids, and eyelashes. It’s time to say goodbye to putting dangerous chemicals near our eyes, with the magnetic lashes we can achieve the perfect look in the safest and fastest way possible. Order your set of magnetic eyeliner and lashes today and save yourself some time, money, and health concerns, all while enjoying the perks of beautiful, low maintenance eyelashes.

Claire’s Life: Discovering Carol’s Daughter’s New Wash Day Delight Shampoo Infused with Aloe and Micellar Water

Happy Wednesday!

Last Night, I popped by 31st street to celebrate Carol’s Daughter’s new Wash Day Delight Shampoo!

We all know about wash day: It’s the day we take down whatever protective style we have (if we have one) and shampoo and deep condition our natural hair. Carol’s Daughter founder Lisa Price created a fresh smelling shampoo that makes wash day something to look forward to!

The new water-to-foam shampoo is infused with micellar water and aloe, “that effortlessly lathers and works through the hair via the targeted applicator. It minimizes tangles and quickly rinses clean so there’s no added weight from residue left behind. The fast-acting Micellar Technology—known for gentle yet effective cleansing—acts like a magnet to attract and lift away buildup for a thorough hair and scalp cleanse, without harsh friction or stripping. “

It sounds delightful. I can’t wait to try!

Fabulously coiffed Bombshells were in attendance at the Carol’s Daughter launch. Take a look at a few stand outs:

Pro hair artist @YnotKeeb showed off her hair in a Becca Apparel African printed top and thigh high boots.

Yes, hair!

@Ashhnyc looked adorable in the Carol’s Daughter Wash Day Delight Tub.

The gorgeous @TaylorAnise was all about texture.

How cute is @KeekzCurl ‘s brown twist out?

Influencers @JaylaKoriyan posed pretty with fellow influencer @RavenElyse, who looked lovely in a Hanifa top.

And I wore Hanifa as well! My hair is wet and wavy at the moment for easy styling.

I congratulated Carol’s Daughter owner Lisa Price on yet another Bomb Product and complimented her on her Argent suit (don’t you just love the color?). I might have to get one for myself. And I can’t wait to try Wash Day Delight!

If you’d like to try it for yourself, you’re in luck!

Visit carolsdaughter.com and use the code “WashDay20” in the checkout process for 20% off their Wash Day Delight purchase! The sale will be valid through 2/22.

Happy Washing!

Even a stop to see Richard Orlisnki’s museum requires an extravagant ensemble. This time it’s by Marine Serra. With dangling gold chains and coin like medallions everywhere you would think the designer would stop there. What motivated Marine to add the mask? We don’t know but we are here for it!

Which one was your favorite? Let us know. Would you rock this?
