Closing the week was Takkunda from London. Takkunda’s style is regal fierce and eclectic. With each look giving a different vibe this Bombshell shows how clothes can be used a a form of self expression.

After unveiling her newest Tiffany campaign with husband Jay-Z and securing a 2021 Emmy award, Beyoncé graced fans with two new looks from her recent trip to New York. The singer showed us that she is truly a mood forever as she rocked a designer purple and yellow check print pantsuit and bodysuit-skirt ensemble.

For one look, Beyoncé rocked a checkered print pantsuit by Vivienne Westwood including $1,369 blazer jacket and cropped pants (sold out). She opted for this checkered print suit outfit while visiting the Hamptons last week, making the classically sophisticated look perfect for her visit. She paired the suit with a light purple Raf Simons sleeveless knitted top along with accessories such as the Fendi “Iridia” 0356/S sunglasses, $695 Jacquemus Le Chiquito bag, and $790 Bottega Stretch Sandals in plum. Beyoncé also went with a curly high ponytail for her hairstyle of choice.

Beyoncé spent the day with her daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi Carter. The Lemonade artist wore a $695 Area rib knit bodysuit paired with a pink o-ring zipper mini skirt. She paired the look with $375 Anima Iris Raspberry Zaza bag (sold out) which she wore around her waist as a belt bag. Her other accessories included the Fendi “Iridia” 0356/S sunglasses again along with neutral $745 Gianvito Rossi “Bree” pumps and Schiaparelli earrings.

Rumi Carter was spied hand-in-hand with mommy Beyoncé and sister Blue Ivy wearing a Dolce and Gabbana Spring/Summer 2016 graphic print cotton poplin dress (unavailable).

With the 2021 Emmys less than a month away, winners for categories like costume design, animation, interactive programming, and motion design were announced ahead of the coveted award ceremony.

When it came to the category of costume design, Beyoncé reigned supreme as her Black Is King film took the win for “Outstanding Costumes for a Varitety, Nonfiction, or Reality Program” over The Masked Singer and Sherman’s Showcase Black History Month Spectacular. Last year, fans were all hooked on the film’s visually pleasing aesthetics and endless eye-catching looks supplied by costume designers Zerina Akers and Timothy White.

With this Emmy award win, Zerina Akers made history as she became the second black woman ever to win the “Outstanding Costume for a Variety” award for Black Is King. The first Black woman to win the award was Dana Campbell who won 15 years ago for her work on Dancing With The Stars.

Congratulations to Beyoncé, Zerina Akers, Timothy White and their team! The award and win will be announced once more during the 2021 Emmys on September 19th.

In her latest Instagram post, Taina Williams went for an all black look as she posted up next to a black vehicle with fiancé G Herbo. Taina’s all black ensemble included an affordable Fashion Nova black pleated skort and other designer pieces, giving us a mix of high and low fashion.

Normani was spied out treating herself to some retail therapy on Rodeo Drive and turning heads in her salmon pink look. The singer was outfitted in a pretty-in-pink athleisure look complete with strappy sandals.

Normani wore TLZ L’Femme’s $160 cropped hoodie and $198 capri leggings, both in salmon pink. Offering a futuristic meets streetwear vibe, the set is far out from your typical athleisure with the hoodie’s oversized puffy nature along with the tube design detail on the capris. She tops off the look with gold accessories such as bamboo earrings and a chain link necklace. The “Motivation” artist also struts in a pair of pink strap heeled sandals. While blue-violet polish graces her nails, she goes with a long braided hairstyle for her hairdo.

Angela Simmons stepped out for a date night in NYC rocking a dress that showed off her body (well, not necessarily her body). Let’s get into her look:

Styled by Shenelle Daly, the entrepreneur wore a sleeveless midi dress which featured a body print that covered the front and back of the garment. The dress is sold at boutiques such as Last Minute Fit ($60 Godiva Dress) and Hello Barbie ($89 Body Midi Dress). However, it is inspired by the Constanca Entrudo’s Trompe L’Oeil Dress which is available for pre-order for $303. The designer’s dress has been spotted on celebrities such as Princess Tyrina Lee and SZA.

Angela Simmons rocked the dress with a pair of glittery ankle boots and a watch. She opts for soft glam for makeup and wavy tresses for her hairdo.

The “We Love NYC” concert went down earlier this week in the heart of the NY at Central Park. Performances by hip hop legends supplied the ultimate vibes for the musical event. Fat Joe, LL Cool J, Run DMC, Busta Rhymes, French Montana, and A. Boogie were all on the scene. Rapper Remy Ma was also in attendance, taking the stage in a stunning yellow and white ensemble for the epic concert.

Remy Ma performed in pieces from Fendi and their “Vertigo” collection. She wore the $1,980 FF Kway Vertigo Reversible Nylon Jacket, $160 FF Fish-Eye motif ankle socks, and mini handbag. The Vertigo collection is becoming a must-have as it updates the classic Fendi “FF” monogram by giving it a swirly, psychedelic design.

Serena Williams shows us that she understood the assignment as she posed near artwork in her grandiose home in a chic blue dress from her very own brand Serena.

Straight from her Serena brand, Serena Williams wore the $50 “Ada” Ruched Bodycon Dress in blue (sold out). The dress is comprised of a ribbed knit fabric along with a ruched drawstring detailing on the side of the dress. While Serena’s blue dress is currently sold out, the “Ada” dress is still available in black and bone. The brand also has a plus-size line known as Serena GREAT which carries the “Ada” dress in black, green, and blue.

While the dress is from the brand’s summer collection, the rib knit material makes it the perfect transitional dress as we approach the Fall season. Ultimately, the tennis player served us with some stylish transitional fashion! She pairs the dress with silver metallic heels and drop earrings. She also rocks a puff ball ponytail, slayed by Angela Meadows.

Earlier today, the tennis champion announced that she chose to withdraw from this year’s US Open following a torn hamstring injury. We’re wishing her a speedy recovery!
