Lincoln Celebrates Self-Care and Serenity with a Big Reveal at Art Basel

Hey Bombers and Bombshells!

I was thrilled to be invited to Art Week in Miami to experience a new fragrance called Coastal Mornings by Sanctuary. I received an invite and perfume bottle in the mail and was told to show up in Miami ready for a huge announcement! I was beyond juiced, as I know that Art Week is the penultimate time during the year when fashion, artist, and culture collide.

I had never heard of Coastal Mornings and wasn’t sure what to expect. (The scent was so refreshing—and it reminded me of the sights and sounds of a leisurely beach stroll with its golden citrus and grapefruit top notes as well as its freesia, violet and green base). When we (I along with influencers Amanda of @AWStyled, Janay of High Low Luxe and @ChiziDuru) appeared at SLS Hotel, we learned that Coastal Mornings by Sanctuary is a fragrance that will be available exclusively in Lincoln vehicles to help riders to relax, refresh, and rejuvenate.

The fragrance is part of the vehicle’s “Rejuvenation Moods” features that will harmonize audio, scenting, lighting and more to deliver an in-cabin experience like no other. In addition to offering calming a few selections of fragrances to choose from, Rejuvenation Moods include soothing audio, chair massages, and stunning visual displays—essentially providing passengers a much-needed escape as we sit in traffic or collect our thoughts after a long day at work. You can even personalize your sanctuary-on-the-go based on your moods and time of day (its unique technology is designed to build upon the mood you’re in—or change it for the better—by focusing on the body’s natural circadian flow depending on whether it’s morning, noon, or night!)

If that wasn’t impressive enough, Lincoln also tapped their longtime brand ambassador and collaborator, Serena Williams, to help usher in the new fragrance in style (Fun fact: Miami is the GOAT’s hometown).  Influencers, guests, and car aficionados sat down for a fireside chat featuring Serena and Lincoln Executives. During the chat, Serena revealed that scents bring her to a happy place, and “bring nostalgia and warm feelings that come rushing back in your mind.” One of her favorite scents was her mom’s cooking!

After the chat, Serena and Lincoln executives unveiled the Lincoln Star™  concept car while Serena signed bottles of Coastal Mornings by Sanctuary that will be available for auction.

While not for release, it was a ton of fun learning about the Lincoln Star™ concept vehicle, its stunning design and how the legendary luxury auto brand continues to raise the bar themselves and for the industry as a whole. If this is what the future looks (and smells) like, sign me up!

Shoestring Extravagance: Tips on Looking Fancy for Cheap

If beauty is all about pain, then fashion is all about debt. The world’s most exclusive luxury brands can cost thousands of dollars—all before quickly falling out of style by the next season. For this reason, many fashion-forward women also become collectors, showcasing their Louboutin shoes and Birkin bags on backlit shelves.

For those who don’t have bottomless pockets, landing the next flawless look might take time, effort, and a bit of scheming. After all, anywhere can be a runway today. Just take casinos as an example. In the last hundred years, they’ve gone from high-class clubs with red velvet curtains to online platforms where players can’t see one another.

Games like slots, roulette, and blackjack can be found easily via offers like the 888 casino promo code… but what about all the red carpet looks once worn on the casino floor? Just as these games can now be played anywhere, high fashion looks are also more mobile—it’s about street fashion, clubbing looks, professional power suits, and much more.

But how can women put together extravagant looks without overspending? Try out one of the tips below.

Switch Brand Names for Indie Designers

There’s something about a brand name that changes a piece—and that’s because designers curate and build their lines with a specific emotion, theme, or purpose in mind. It’s not just a shirt, but also a story. If you can’t seem to let go of that designer magic, then consider pivoting toward up-and-coming designers.

Fashion students looking to make their name launch niche boutiques before jumping into the big leagues. Always keep a lookout for these amateur designers, as their lines are often much more accessible than blue-blood names.

Keep Your Thrifting Secrets

Finding a good thrift store might be harder than finding a quality boyfriend. Regardless of how you find a thrift store that has quality brands at a reasonable price, stay tight-lipped. There’s nothing worse than a hidden gem suddenly being touted as the ‘best thrift in town’ by a popular publication.

If you know where to thrift, then keep your secret—and maybe consider asking management if they recommend any other stores or online shops.

Borrowing: Professionally & Personally

Women who find themselves appearing in friends’ weddings and other formal events have recently discovered the beauty of renting formalwear. Websites and apps of all stripes now let you borrow a luxury brand piece—and some might even let you virtually try on an outfit thanks to AR technology.

It’s always a good idea to rely on these types of services, especially for black-tie events where the hosts and guests will recognize a Tom Ford, Valentino, or Givenchy look. However, don’t forget about borrowing from friends—they’re often an underutilized resource.

Follow Fashion Accounts for Inspiration

Vogue might be one of the biggest fashion publications in the world, but their recommendations can be pricey. If you’re on the hunt for new fashion inspiration, stick to a social media site. Not only do top fashion accounts post the latest trends in various industries, but they might also have a few tips and tricks to share with you.

In fact, one of the latest trends to hit the fashion field is DIY hacks. These accounts help followers repurpose their old looks, along with passing along helpful rejuvenation and repair tips. If you have a piece you just can’t let go of, follow a fashion account to see what others might do in your position.

Find a Secret Hiding Spot

Sometimes, it feels wrong to toss out a favorite piece. Even if you admit that you haven’t worn it for years, and wouldn’t be likely to wear it in the near future, some pieces feel too important and nostalgic. In these cases, you don’t need to toss out that off-shoulder sundress or those super low-rise jeans.

After all, fashion is cyclical, and some looks are simply timeless. If you’ve already invested in a look and can’t quite let go of it, then consider placing it in storage. Maybe after a year or two out of sight (in a proper storage area), you’ll find yourself excited about the piece again—and then you’ll have a new look for free… all over again.

Add a Touch of Fashion with the Trendy Joggers for Men

Joggers are a great option for men who want to look stylish but want to avoid wearing jeans. They’re also great for those who aren’t sure whether they should wear shorts or pants.

Joggers for men are casual and comfortable, making them an excellent choice if you want something easy to move around in all day. Besides, they’re also versatile—you can dress them up with shoes and accessories or keep things simple by wearing them with sneakers or sandals. Sometimes joggers are even as comfortable as sweatpants!

So, if you are here to find inspiration on how to style your joggers – you’re at the right place.

1: Wear Your Joggers with a Bomber Jacket

Bomber jackets are one of the most classic pieces in menswear, and they’re a great way to add more style and personality to your joggers. If you’re looking for something warm, consider pairing your favorite joggers with a polyester shell bomber jacket.

If you want an outfit that’s easy on the eyes but keeps things casual enough for running errands, try minimalist sneakers like the ones from Adidas originals.

2: Joggers and Long-sleeve T-shirts

If you want to wear joggers with a long-sleeve t-shirt, it’s best not to wear the two together. You’ll end up looking like you’re trying too hard, or at least trying too hard for the wrong reasons.

Instead of pairing them up, take advantage of their contrast by wearing them separately—and then add some extra style by pulling your sleeves up around your forearms when wearing them together. This will give your outfit an unexpected element that makes it feel more polished than just wearing regular sweatpants around town all day.

3: Try Joggers with Short-sleeve Shirts

Dress up your joggers a touch by adding a button-up shirt. Don’t try anything funky or fancy, but get the crisp look of a collared shirt while staying dressed because of the joggers. This look is especially good during the warmer months when you can wear it to run errands or take public transportation to work or school.

For example, wear a crisp white button-up shirt (or even a polo) if you have white joggers and want to look more professional.

4: Go Bold with Joggers and Denim Jackets

This is an excellent style for the weekend. As you can see, it’s more suited for when Saturday afternoon and evening blend together. Try it with a worn-in light-wash denim jacket and some oversize or bulky jackets on top for extra warmth.

For the bottoms, you can’t go wrong with cargo joggers in solid colors like blue or black with white sneakers (or boots). You can also try cargo joggers with simple embroidery details (or no details at all).

Final Thoughts

Joggers for men can be worn any time of the year, and they’re a great option for casual wear at work or on holiday. They look great with sneakers and flip-flops but also work well with formal shoes if you want to look polished. They come in plenty of colors and patterns. Look for an online store that has a vast collection of these.

Jenna Ortega’s Style is the Embodiment of Gothcore, Wearing Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, YSL and More

When Jenna Ortega takes on a role, she truly commits! With the involvement of her stylist Enrique Melendez, the 20-year-old actress has managed to channel Wednesday Addams’ gothic aesthetic in her off-screen style as well. Just take her recent interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, for instance, where Jenna wore a  Dolce & Gabbana SS23, a mesh dress with an extended white collar, white cuffs and black satin tie cinched in by a gold corset!

It’s the perfect recipe for a gothcore look done in good taste: the darkness, the heavy metals and not to mention the pairing of $515 black patent leather Aminah Abdul Jillil platform heels! Not a single detail was left out. Get yourself a pair below!

And the Wednesday gothcore vibes didn’t start there! Back in November, for the Netflix premiere of her starring series, Jenna was a Versace bride! She wore look 55 from the SS23 collection, a lace-y number that incorporated something old and something new.

At the Critics Choice Awards, Jenna opted for grungy mesh once again in an asymmetrical YSL dress. It’s the one glove one the sleeved side of the gown for us!

This Thom Browne moment lives rent free in our minds as it incorporates gothic elements but makes a slight nod to legends like Janet Jackson and Missy Elliot who have done the look their own way once before.
