So as I mentioned, I had the distinct honor of meeting and chatting with the finalists of Bravo TV’s the Fashion Show today at the Bravo offices in New York!

I was running fashionably late, but Calvin, Jeffrey, and Dominique were all smiles and very welcoming!
A few things I learned: Calvin has no regrets about the way he acted during the show. He said, “I don’t regret anything. I was being myself what could I regret? I worked very hard and I think it showed very accurately what I went through as a designer and as a person.” Regarding designing clothes for larger sizes, they all said that they cater to all shapes and sizes, but that one particular episode featuring the Real Housewives was difficult because of the larger than life personalities in the room. Dominique is starting her own line this year. And Jeffrey hopes to show at New York Fashion Week one day!
They also divulged that there will be tons of surprises for tomorrow’s finale (featuring Mary J Blige)!

You know what I love about New York?
You never know where the night will take you! At 2pm, I was blogging, minding my own business…and in only a matter of hours I was hitting the road to attend several events!

My first stop was an event sponsored by Soft Sheen Carson and Dark & Lovely to announce their new Beauty Brand Ambassador, Bria Murphy (Eddie Murphy’s gorgeous daughter).


I ran into several friends and Fashion Bomb readers like DJ Kiss (wassup!), Felicia of ThisThatBeauty.com, and Tia Williams of Essence.com.
Afterwards I two-stepped it uptown for a tweet up for Bravo’s The Fashion Show with the legendary Iman and Isaac Mizrahi:

Y’all. Iman. Was sitting. next to ME!!!! And Isaac Mizrahi was in the same room?!? I was about to faint. I did my best to tweet about the show, but had a few burning questions to ask Madame Iman about her beauty routine. She was in a rush, so didn’t have time, but agreed to answer a few queries via e-mail. Have any questions you’d like to ask the fabulous Iman?

At any rate it was a bomb night and a great way to kick off the New Year.
