Happy Monday!
About a week or so ago, I assembled the Fashion Bomb staff for a holiday themed shoot:
I realized Jihan, Faith, and Cliché’s profile pictures hadn’t been updated since the summer, so decided to make a whole production out of photographing fall/winter shots, with hair and makeup by Julienne Moore and Shalea Walker, and party ready designs plucked from Zaden Row, a new ecommerce site that lets you shop tons of local NYC boutiques.
Take a look at our glamour shots, snapped by Marta McAdams:
And if you liked any of our looks, cop ’em at ZadenRow.com. Fashion Bomb Readers get free shipping until Jan 1st by using the code fashionbomb at checkout.

We’re kicking off our Best of 2012 superlatives with our Most Improved Fashionista, taking a look at the lady whose style has evolved the most over the year:
You ladies have responded in kind, with Bella B effusing, “Gorgeous!!! Khloe’s style has been out of the park during this whole taping” and Style is My Obsession adding, “Khloe is looking so chic and fit these days. Loving her new confidence and style.”
True. But Khloe has always been kinda fly…!

At any rate, review her best looks of the year here.
As soon as Brandy released her new album, Two Eleven, the songstress stormed the scene, working music videos and performances in a potpourri of nuanced ensembles sprinkled with lots of labels.
Ending this week is Bombshell Sherane from Atlanta:
She writes, “I consider my style to be pretty eclectic.”
” My outer appearance usually reflects how I’m feeling internally.”
” When I’m in a great mood-I may illustrate it through bright colors.”
“… and if I woke up on the wrong side of the bed- I may wear a plain outfit & spice it up with a funky vintage pillbox hat.”
” Fashion is supposed to be fun and I want my style to remain playful.”
” Growing up I was never the person to drool over fashion mags or follow fashion week.”
” I simply started thrifting and wearing vintage to express myself through fashion for an affordable price.”
” Adding vintage pieces to your wardrobe brings more personality because there is usually a story behind every piece.”
” Even the slight imperfections illustrate more character to your entire look.”
You’re gorgeous! I can definitely see the vintage influences. See more at SheranesCloset.com and follow her on Instagram at @SheranesCloset.

Today’s Bombshell, Jazmine from Chicago, was submitted by her friend Asia from Beautonomy:
Asia types, “Residing in Chicago, by way of the “Lou,” Jazmine is a hairstylist by day, and fashion designer by night.”
” Finding that she tends to express her everyday emotion as art via the clothes she wears.”
” From Boho chic, to Mod grunge circa 90’s…”
“… Jazmine finds her style is really a mix of era and genre..”
“…almost like that of music.”
” Its the weather elements and textures of things that have also inspired a few of her creations with Polished by J.”
“We appreciate your time and interest in possibly featuring Jazmine and we look forward to hearing from you soon. “
Work it out, girlfriend! I love your many dynamic hairstyles.

Happy Thursday ladies and gents!
Last night I, along with Chef Roblé, Bridget Kelly, Sessilee Lopez, Daisy Lewellyn, Johnny Nunez, and Jennifer Williams, received Rolling Out Mirror Mirror awards for our contributions to the entertainment industry!
Tyson Beckford and Toya Wright hosted the event, which included a performance by Bridget Kelly, a cocktail hour, and a short awards ceremony.

Of course I can’t accept any award without acknowledging the superior work of Fashion Bomb writers Jihan, Cliché, and Faith, who rolled through to show their support:
They’ve lent their time, talent, and brilliance to helping make this site a must visit for any fashionista. I couldn’t be more thankful for their contributions!
In my speech, I also made sure to thank you vocal, opinionated, and often hilarious readers for visiting our humble site. Those who have been around since 2006 have witnessed the growth–we couldn’t do it without you!
We’re heading down to Dallas, Texas for today’s Bombshell! Take a look at Marchetta’s style:
She writes, “I am a modern trendsetter that boasts a style that encompasses both stylish and substance flair to my wardrobe.“
” I don’t have one specific style…”
” I think of myself as a well-rounded trendsetter.”
” I can wear preppy, elegant…”
“…trendy, classic and bohemian styles which makes my style so unique.”
” My philosphy is why on earth would you want to stand in when you can stand out?”
I love your Bohemian/cold shoulder look the most. And work that dark lip, honey!

Today’s Bombshell is Ashleigh from Seattle, Washington:
She writes, ” I am a school administrator by profession but a TRUE FASHIONISTA by heart!!!!”
“… I was awarded the Fashion Bombshell title sometime last year but I feel my style has evolved for the better since then.”
” I would describe my current style as “Posh and Lady Like with a touch of Edge”.”
” Like I stated before I am an administrator which means I am in and out of Elementary schools daily, so most of the time I try to dress conservative and sophisticated…”
“… leaving me to bring out my more edgy pieces on my days off.”
” On my down time I also manage a fashion, beauty and life style website called Piecesofpi.webs.com.”
” On it I highlight local events, music artists, beauty products, show off my OOTD, and much more.”
“My philosophy is “All a girl needs a BIG SMILE and a GREAT OUTFIT because it’s true: when you look good, you feel good. And when you feel good, YOU CAN DO ANYTHING!!!!””
Indeed. What do you think of Ashleigh’s looks this time around? See her first feature here.
