Hey Hey!
So London Fashion Week has been pretty hectic writing for Vogue.it! Everyday I’ve had about 4 or 5 shows, which means I had to hit the ground running almost as soon as I got off the plane!
It was pretty chilly, but bright over the weekend. Thankfully I packed my Theory Cassius Coat and Grey Ant Status Sunglasses.
We’re ending this week with Texas Bombshell LaMirica:
The Dallas native writes, “I wrote in my idea book that I wanted to be featured on FashionBombDaily.”
” That same week a question I submitted in regards to shades worn by Chrisette Michele was featured…”
“I thought to myself to be more specific, so I added Fashion Bombshell of The Day to my book. (Takes deep breath) here goes nothing!”
” I describe my style as a mix of urban…”
“… and sophisticated.”
” I love blazers for all the things they hide as well as the different ways in which they can be worn.”
” My rule is wear what you want and dare anyone to tell you that you’re not hot!”
” In 2009 I took my love of fashion to the next level and started my own blog, FashionablyL8.com, where I share fashion and lifestyle tips with my readers.”
” I recently started my own T-shirt line, Fashion Junkie Clothing Company, and I’m looking forward to 2013.”
Great looks! I love your orange blazer and that printed maxi!

“… It’s a site for fabulous and fierce tall women.”
“I created it because it’s hard to find clothes and shoes in our size.”
” I never knew there were so many options out there because I never thought fashion was for me.”
” As a tall woman, I went through a lot and never knew I had a fashion voice.”
“… Once I found it, I wanted everyone to hear it…boom…TallSWAG.com.”
“How would I define my style? I wouldn’t. I believe when you define something, you put a box around it and NOBODIES fashion should be in a box.”
“…You should wear what you want, when you want and how you want. No questions asked and no critiques considered.”
“I also created T SWAG. It’s my TALL t-shirt line. An expression of how amazing we are and how amazing tall is.”
Gorgeous! You are sleek and sophisticated, and a beauty to boot!

I filmed a little ditty for Fashion Bomb TV (that was left on the cutting room floor!!!)
Then was off.
I tend to go for shorter hemlines, but I was kinda digging this look.
Are you?
Stay tuned for more style diaries and street style from London Fashion Week!

“… but mainly I like to wear a plain t-shirt with a gold chain or bomber jacket to cool down to a sophisticated look.”
“Tell me what you think!”
“Kisses from Belgium”
I love it! There is beauty in simplicity, and you’re a perfect example.

Ready for one of my last Style Diaries?
I sure am. I much prefer to hide behind my computer screen, but it’s always fun to give you a quick glimpse into my life before I recede into the shadows;)
For Day 6, I went back to patterns, slipping on a printed Dries van Noten dress and Pierre Hardy boots.
I fell in love with the Pierre Hardy joints once I saw Naomie Harris in them. The minute they fell into affordable territory, I snapped ’em up!
It’s still very much winter, so I slipped on my standby coat. Do you think it works here?
After taking a few snaps, it was on to the next show.
Today’s Bombshell is blogger Yvonne from Sudbury, Ontario:
The native Nigerian writes, “My style is anything…”
“…that compliments my body.”
“…I’m into vintage wares..”
“… and african prints.”
” I also love shoes that stand out.”
That African printed jumpsuit is cute! See more of Yvonne’s style at Thekaleidoscopian.com.

Ola! On Day 5 of NYFW, it was all about presentations for me, including stops by Laquan Smith’s Fall 2013 collection and Alice + Olivia’s showing downtown. I decided to calm it on the prints for the day and just wear classic black and white, adding interest with a fringed Thakoon dress and a contrast collar Rag & Bone blazer (can you tell how much I love R&B?)
The outfit was pretty understated, so I slipped on a pair of statement shoes (these DSquared Raso Boots to be exact).
In between shows, I stopped at Cookshop, a fun little restaurant on the West Side, conveniently located close to a lot of off site venues.
Then I was off (expect to see this Theory Cassius coat a lot. It’s warm and sorta goes with everything!)
In the midst of Fashion Week and Grammy madness, we still have to bring you our regular features! Take a look at today’s Bombshell, Nikki from Austin, Texas:
” I’d like to say I just wear what feels right for the day…”
“… but I’m that girl that sits in the closet in the morning for hours trying to put something together.”
” After over complicating my outfit…”
“…I usually scale everything down and these effortless looks come to life.”
Casually cute, and your hair is gorgeous!
