I kept warm in a Theory Cassius coat, slipped on a vintage Captain’s hat, and put my essentials in a CC Skye vaulted clutch (I tend to shop a lot based on the products we recommend on this here blog. It’s a bad habit!).
As I mentioned in this post, I ran into loads of Fashion Bomb readers at Lala’s book signing!
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and what better way to get into the spirit of the holiday than with jewelry? BaubleBar’s Romantic Text Collar is just the piece to put you in a loving mood:
The multi-strand collar necklace features variegated chain links and the word “amour.” Très sweet!
The piece also comes in other romantic iterations, boasting the words “Bisous” (French for kisses) and plain old Love.
She writes, “I’m currently in Chicago studying Fashion Marketing.”
“My style is very diverse.”
” I would say it’s a mix between street&urban wear…”
“… with a thrifters mentality…”
“… while ever connected to designer high fashion.”

We’re bringing it back to BK for today’s Bomber of the Day! Take a look at Vlad’s winning ensembles:
He was submitted by his sister, Gabrielle, who wrote, “Vlad, also known as “Haitian V,” (Youtube sensation) is a comedian.”
” When Vlad makes appearances he goes all out.”
” He often describes his style as “mashed potato smooth”.”
” He styles himself…”
“… and does a great job at it.”
” Its refreshing to see a guy not afraid of color and patterns!”
Indeed! Loving this. No complaints, here!
See some of Vlad’s work on Youtube (it’s pretty funny!) and on Instagram @JustVlad.

We’re back in the throes of what feels like another polar vortex, (ick!) and it seems we can’t get sufficiently warm, no matter what we do. Perhaps a little fashion might help? Our own Claire recently showcased an all-white winter look, and now, we’re kind of obsessed with the theme. We scoured the ‘net for a little more inspiration on how to wear winter whites, and we stumbled upon a few that caught our eye.
Check ’em out:
Proving the LBD will never go out of style, no matter what anyone says is Grasie Mercedes of Style Me Grasie, who paired hers with a white coat and charming leopard print ankle booties.
Christina of Trop Rouge offset her fluffy winter coat with a smart fedora and blue moto jeans, which I think I need in my closet RIGHT NOW.
Shirley from StyleInk HK played with different tones of winter white, starting with a cream-colored knit peplum sweater, wide-legged trousers, metallic sandals, and Chanel carryall to boot. Fab!
Kenza added a bit of black and metallic touches to toughen up a sweet look. Loving how the zippers and hardware edge out her ‘fit! Also, those curls? Everything.
Okay, we gotta give extra points to miss Emmalyn from Sincerely Love for braving the to pose in heels in the snow! Hats off to you, Miss Thing! For her wintr’y look, she went with white skinnies, a blazer, slouchy tee, and a neutral bag and wide-brimmed hat. Cute!
Danielle from indie.electronic.alternative uplifted her look with burgundy accents and ankle boots. Love the topknot, and the natural makeup is so gorge.
Finally, Danielle and Bianca of Kastor and Pollux kept things funky, mixing shades of white with silver and neutral tones, adding dimension with textured pieces.
