Let’s be honest: graphic t-shirts are classic. They can be worn with everything from a full, floor-grazing skirt to your favorite pair of cutoffs. And they’ll still look chic: how many pieces of clothing can achieve that? There are a ton of brands doing the timeless tee right now (including your favorite artists like Kanye West and Justin Bieber), but MONOGRAM is presenting some of the coolest graphics in the market this season.
The brains behind the brand are two names we’ve seen in fashion before: Jeff Halmos of Shipley & Halmos and Lisa Mayock of Vena Cava. The husband-wife design duo are getting back into the game by riffing on the iconic wardrobe staple, with prices that are a bit higher than the average t-shirt, but are crafted from much better quality fabric.
With prices ranging from $60 to $90, you can invest in a couple of these bad boys without breaking the bank.
The flashy (but comfy) footwear boasts a breathable and incredibly flexible sock-like elastic upper, a mid-cut collar and a signature TPU cage that provides midfoot support.
The Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknits are also available in a wide range of colors including bright mango, turquoise, white and black. As an alternative, there’s an added a feature that allows you to design your own custom design!
Hey everyone! Today we’ve got someone from my hometown repping for our Bombshells. Let’s welcome Leyla from Washington, D.C.:She said, “Hello, I’m Leyla, the curly chick behind the style and hair blog, Beyond Her Curls.”
“I am based in Washington, D.C.!”
“My style is always evolving, but at the moment I’d describe my style as feminine, chic, and bohemian.”
“My mood plays a big factor in how I dress that day too; some days I glam up while other days a tee & ripped jeans will do.”
“I feel like no matter what you are wearing, as long as you accessorize, you are good!”
“I love dainty pieces and layering my jewelry, definitely adds the final touches to any outfit! :)”

I think our Beauty Crush segment is by and far my favorite segment to cover, mostly because I get to spotlight fabulous and beautiful women 24/7! Today’s subject of choice? The ever-stunning beauty, Gugu Mbatha-Raw.With parents originally from England and South Africa, Gugu grew up in Oxford, England and was active in the arts from a young age. Though she’s had a stellar acting career that has only expanded, many people (myself included) truly learned about her after seeing her in Beyond The Lights. In 2014, Mbatha-Raw was recognized by Elle Magazine during the Women in Hollywood Awards, honoring women for their outstanding achievements in film, spanning all aspects of the motion picture industry, including acting, directing, and producing. With an upcoming project (an adaptation of Roxane Gay’s novel An Untamed State), Mbatha-Raw is surely on a role with her constant work in film and media.
Now let’s talk about her beauty. A natural one at that, Gugu’s beauty aesthetic is perhaps as minimalist as they get in Hollywood.A nice matte finish for the skin, Gugu tends to stick with very neutral palettes (though she can and will surprise us every now and again with a bold lip). Cascading beachy waves make up her hair routine, and she’s off!
With a deep charcoal eyewear look, Gugu’s makeup aesthetic is always on point! Even in her high editorial shoots, she never strays too far from her comfort zone and what she knows works for her! Honey, I ain’t mad at it.
So that’s why Gugu Mbatha-Raw is our Beauty Crush Wednesday! Is she yours?
Happy Wednesday! I’m bringing you dolls a little Spring style inspiration to add some flavor to your summer shoe game with a few ideas on how to slay an embellished heel.
Work a pair of white distressed skinny jeans with a simple black jersey tank top.
Brighten things up with a blue double-breasted blazer, sassy multi-color lace-up sandals, and a vibrant wide-brim fedora.
Opt for an off-the-shoulder poplin top and a pair of cuffed denim shorts.
Get fancy in a pair of mink-trimmed sandals, a monogram Gucci shoulder bag, and cat-eye tortoiseshell shades.
Dress up a black and white look with an ‘Underwater’ lace-up sandal adorned with floral and coral appliques.
A neon bag gives the look that extra pop of color while square-framed sunglasses and a bold leather cuff adds a chic twist.
Top a pair of heavily distressed denim shorts with a blush pink ribbed jersey tank and white longline blazer.
Rock the look with a tassel and fringe embellished suede heel, leather handbag, floppy brim fedora hat, and gold jewelry.
Let your shoes do all the talking and dress up in a white tank midi dress uplifted by a pair of multi-color neon strap and seashell embellished heels.
Complete the look with a neon orange clutch, over-sized sunglasses, and simple jewelry.

Ciara was easily one of the best dressed at the 2016 CFDA Awards! Her blush pink Roberto Cavalli dress was so chic—stylist to the stars Cesar Ramirez used its bohemian-inspired vibe as the starting point for her free-flowing waves.
“I was really inspired by the bohemian feel of Ciara’s Cavalli dress,” said Ramirez. “I also wanted the hair to match the bohemian look, so I kept it soft and just added a different texture then our usual styles.” Here are the steps to recreate her look:
1. Cesar started on dry hair and parted it in four sections. He then lightly sprayed $17 MIZANI HRM Humidity Resistant Mist on each section.
2. Next, he braided each section and flat ironed the braid. This created texture and a slight wave.
3. Once Cesar had the texture he wanted, he then tucked and pinned each side behind each ear—leaving a small section of hair in front of each ear.
4. To set the look, he added more HRM spray for a light hold.
