Fashion Bomb Reunion: The Original Members of Destiny Child Reunited at Beyonce’s Renaissance Concert in Silver Ensembles

Beyoncé’s critically-acclaimed Renaissance World Tour is coming to an end on October 1st, and what would her tour be without her original cast members making a debut over the weekend to show their support?

It still would be fabulous of course, but perhaps seeing Latoya Luckett, LaTavia Roberson, and Kelly Rowland who Beyoncé initially started Destiny Child with was a full circle ah-ha moment for the Queen who went solo in 2003 with her studio album, Dangerously in Love.

If you recall, Destiny Child first came out in 1998 with their album named after their group that was released by Columbia records. The album ended up selling over 1-million copies in the US alone and the remix to their infamous song entitled, “No, No, No” became #1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop single chart.

The group who reached massive success in such a short period of time ended up departing ways in 2000, with Roberson expressing to People magazine that she was in fact dismissed from the group. She discovered she was no longer in the group after the “Say My Name” video released and she and Luckett were replaced with singers Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin.

As we all know there’s 3 sides to a story, each person’s side and then the actual truth but it looks like they have let bygones be bygones.

Luckett stayed on trend with her silver corset and black cowgirl hat, while Roberson wore a black lace embellished catsuit with dangling diamond earrings.

In addition to Luckett, Roberson and Beyoncé’s sister Kelly, Farrah Franklin and Michelle Williams also made a pitstop at the Renaissance tour to see Bey perform in all her glory.

Although Franklin only lasted in the group for a few months before personally choosing to depart, she arrived all smiles in a black two piece crystal corset and pants combo, while Williams wore a black crop top that had rhinestone fringe and was layered with a silver sequins blazer.

Rowland, who never disappoints opted for her bedazzling silver top that shined brighter then a midnight star.

It was great to see all the cast members of Destiny Child show up to the Houston leg of the Renaissance tour to show their support and admiration for Beyonce, and who knows a few years from now if like SWV and Xscape there will be a reunion.

Only time shall tell, and just in case, we may want to start saving our coins for a reunion tour.

Bomb Beauty Moment: Megan Thee Stallion Posed Pretty in a Gold Shimmer Beauty Look For the ‘Gram

Calling all hotties to the front! Megan Thee Stallion is back and serving beauty look per usual.

The Houston Texas rapper joined alongside Beyonce for her well anticipated Renaissance tour in Houston,Texas last night.

Representing for their city, the Houston natives both served looks and performed a good show, however Megan’s glam is still the talk of social media.

But are we shocked? Glam has always been a natural talent for Megan, and in fact her latest collaboration with cosmetic beauty brand Revlon shows that not only does the rapper have a talent in music, but an eye for beauty as well.

Backstage wearing a Dion Lee SS24 runway look for the ‘gram, Megan Thee Stallion posed pretty in a gold shimmer eyeshadow smokey eye, with an ombre nude lip topped with a gloss, and flawless matte skin finish face.

Without a pore in sight, Megan paired her glam with a jet black part down the middle with curls hairstyle styled by Kellon Deryck. Since making her first performance appearance at the 2023 VMA’s alongside hip-hop artist Cardi B, the rapper has been on a hiatus.

Whether she’s putting in work in the gym, working on music in the studio, or attending events front row and looking fabulous, Megan Thee Stallion’s presence was missed and her audience let that be known during her comeback.

Body goals, knee goals, and beauty goals, is there anything that ‘Thee Stallion’ can’t do?

Bombshells, thoughts on Megan Thee Stallion’s beauty look? Hot? Or hmm?

Fashion Bomb Designer: Meet the Black Designer Behind the Brand BoisCamp for the ‘It Girls’

If you don’t know about BoisCamp , then you’re missing out. As seen on, Kash Doll, the Clermont Twins, Jayda Cheaves, and many more, fashion designer Kevon has made it his duty to create clothing specifically for the ‘It Girls.’

From skirts, custom gowns, swimwear, and so much more, Bois Camp is making their mark on the fashion industry as a custom fashion brand with a mix of vintage, luxury and high sex-appeal.

Born and raised in the inner city of Trenton, New Jersey, Kevon discovered his passion for fashion at a young age. He began his journey at just 16, studying fashion at VoTec High School, and later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Marketing Management — laying the foundation for what would become his own creative path.

Now 27, Kevon has become known for his daring, conversation-starting designs — including the viral “butt cleavage” silhouette — that showcase his fearless approach to fashion. Unafraid to take risks, he continues to evolve with each collection, proving that Bois Camp isn’t just a brand, but a movement destined to grow stronger with time.

Inspired by trailblazing designers like Ye, Jean Paul Gaultier, Mowalola, and Roberto Cavalli, Kevon admires creatives who break boundaries and redefine fashion on their own terms. “I love and am inspired by how they continue to evolve and get even better as designers,” he said.

With high hopes of one day collaborating with Jean Paul Gaultier or Mugler, the New Jersey designer believes such a partnership would be unforgettable. “I think together, we could change the world — one look at a time,” Kevon expressed.

With big dreams for the future of his brand, Kevon is focused on creating collections that empower the “It Girls” of today to feel sexy, confident, and free. Through his bold designs, Bois Camp has become a safe space for women to embrace their individuality and express their sensuality without apology — a spirit that was fully embodied in his latest collection.

My most recent collection was inspired by The Weeknd,” said Kevon. “I’m unorthodox — sometimes there’s deep meaning behind a collection, and sometimes it’s just about fun and the art of it all. This time, I really had fun creating each piece.”

It is no surprise that Bois Camp is Kevon’s most greatest possession. With 3 years under his belt, since launching Bois Camp in 2020, the brand has took off and it’s all due to the hard work, dedication, and consistency behind the brand.

My brand is really my baby, not to sound cliche but my brand is teaching me how to be the best me in any situation,” said Kevon.

In five years, BoisCamp aims to become the go-to brand for individuals confident in their identity and fearless in expressing it through fashion.

In 5 years, Boiscamp will be the go to brand for the people who get it, because they get it and as for me I see myself being a CFDA member. We are not letting up,” said Kevon.
Looking ahead, men may soon have a reason to celebrate — the New Jersey–based designer plans to introduce menswear and unisex pieces designed to make everyone feel sexy, empowered, and unapologetically themselves.

As a Black man in the fashion industry, Kevon’s message is one of perseverance and unity. “My advice for Black male designers is that you got this, and it’s room for all of us!” he said, encouraging others to stay committed to their vision and never give up on their dreams.

Cardi B Stepped Out to Promote her Latest Song ‘Bongos’ in a Hanifa FW23 Turquoise and Orange Taliah Maxi Dress

Magnetic, charismatic, and unapologetic, Cardi B has done it again- delivering one of the most electrifying and vivacious music videos to rock the Internet.

Her latest song, ‘Bongos’ featuring Houston, Texas rapper Megan Thee Stallion has quickly become a fan favorite, amassing over 14 million views and coming in at #1 for top music videos on Youtube.

With a budget of 2-million dollars, to ensure the most eye-catching visuals, Cardi and Meg made quite the scene in Malibu, California with colorful monochromatic looks in the most vivid and juiciest color schemes.

Still in ‘Bongos’ mode while on the East Coast, Cardi slayed the big apple in an orange and turquoise ombre Hanifa FW23 ribbed knit dress known as the “Taliah Maxi.” The hip hugging bodycon dress had cutouts at both the bust and hem of her dress and felt very on trend to the Southern, California theme of ‘Bongos.’

When it came down to Cardi’s accessories, she went bold with gold layered bangles, statement circular earrings and a shiny gold ring that highlighted her long fiery red coffin nails.

She dominated the room with her picturesque glam including peachy shadow, feathered eye lashes, lip lined lips and contour that perfectly defined her facial features.

We’re glad to see Cardi B is back in her music bag and element, and she never ceases to amaze us with her authenticity that often exposes the facade of others living a lie.

She has come such a long way from growing up in Washington Heights and Bronx, to being a star on Love & Hip Hop, and now taking over the Hip-Hop industry as one of the best rap emcees.

This goes to show that you have a vision that no one else can see but you, don’t give up on that vision, work hard and believe in yourself, and when the time it right, you shall see that vision come into fruition.

Kelly Rowland Stunned in a Target X Rowing Blazers Red and Blue Checkered Polo Dress with $550 White Marc Jacobs Platforms and a $2,610 Bottega Veneta Handbag during NYFW

To kickstart New York Fashion Week, Rowing Blazers x Target held a launch event in honor of the brands collaboration set to debut September 23, and perhaps singer Kelly Rowland served as the ‘poster girl’ for their limited edition collection.

Offering an assortment of sporty dresses, blazers and rugby shirts, Rowland was an instant hit in the brands red and purple checkered mini dress that shone brightly against her rich melanated skin complexion.

Keep things conventional and playful, with innovative shapes, Rowland paired her Rowing Blazers x Target dress with cotton white Marc Jacobs croc embossed Kiki ankle boots.

The rounded toe Kiki platform boot which retails for $550, is new and improved with an ankle cut style and signature multi straps that fastens in the front. These boots definitely added volume and edginess to Rowland’s fierce look.

In addition to her platform boots made from cow leather, she also enhanced her outfit with a $2,650 white leather Bottega Veneta mini Jodie hobo bag.

Labeled an ‘It girl” favorite, Kelly’s Bottega Veneta bag was identifiable by the brands signature intrecciato woven construction, gold hardware, and slouchy silhouette which Bottega is known for.

Kelly Rowland looked classy, preppy and brilliant as she posed in front of a white wall distinguished by colorful art in varied gold frames.

We love her use of white accessories which highlight her white collar on her dress, and we couldn’t help but notice her diamond necklace and bracelet that elevated her ensemble and ultimately blew us away.

Who Wore It Better? Saweetie vs Coco Jones in a Red Sequin LaQuan Smith SS23 Cut Out Gown

Both rapper Saweetie and R&B singer Coco Jones wore a sizzling haute red LaQuan Smith gown on two different occasions, and amongst the two- we can’t decide who wore it better.

The sequin-embroidered gown which retails for $2,750 has a plunging round neckline and midriff cutout with a slit in the back. Inspired by the tropical air of Morocco, this dress is vivid in color and seductive which are two attributes that Smith has mastered.

On her way to New York Fashion Week last week to view Smith’s latest collection, the “My Type” rapper, 30, wore the SS23 gown with minimal accessories including a silver embellished cuff and statement earrings.

Her beauty and glam was up to par with a bold red ombre lip, and a smokey eye that accentuated her eyes. Her updo with immaculate with a side swoop, and a ponytail that consisted of intricate bantu knots.

She spoke about how she went from standing during one of Smith’s NYFW shows a few years ago, to now being seated front row. In an interview with WWD, Saweetie expressed, “I was actually at one of his first fashion shows,” Saweetie said of her support for the designer. “But when I was at his [early] shows, I was standing, not sitting. I’ve evolved in the fashion world, I know that’s right.

Contrary to Saweetie, Coco Jones kept things simple, allowing the dress to be the statement and paired her look with dangling lavender earrings to the 2023 BET awards. She kept her hair pulled back with two front strands, and opted for a soft nude beat.

With a smaller bust, the dress framed Coco’s body differently than Saweetie’s dress, yet still was complimentary to both of their midsections, characterized with ‘abs for days.’

Between Saweetie and Coco, who do you think wore the dress better?

On the Scene at the 2023 VMA’s: Nicki Minaj in Dolce & Gabbana, Yung Miami in Han Kjobenhavn, Cardi B in Dilara, Doja Cat in Monse + More

The VMA’s took off with a bang this past week at New Jersey’s Prudential Center and perhaps there couldn’t have been a better host than Nicki Minaj who has the most #1 rap songs in US iTunes history.

The star-studded affair was nothing shy of spectacular and extraordinary moments with Minaj bringing her performing arts background to the stage in the most theatrical way, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion hitting the stage together, and Diddy performing and receiving the Global Icon award with his children by his side.

Not to mention all the fabulous pink carpet looks that we saw our favorite celebrities arrive in. Yung Miami was a showstopper in designer Han Kjobenhavn, while the legendary Mary J. Blige served us a beaded and feather tease by Albina Dyla.

Cardi B’s silver futuristic ensemble looked complimentary to VMA’s trophy award, “the moon man,” and Saweetie gave skeletal realness in a pink crystal Area gown which appeared to be held together by two skeleton bones.

Sister’s Chloe and Halle Bailey also made a debut at the VMA’s, with Chloe opting for a blue patched Roberto Cavalli gown, and her mini me Halle looking citrusy in an orange Le Thanh Hoa chiffon gown. Word on the street is that Halle may be expecting with beau DDG, and based on the silhouette that she chose, the speculations continue to grow.

Ahead, see what our favorite celebrities wore on the pink carpet at the 2023 VMAS:
