There’s a new trend in town: Embellished, patched, and appliquéd denim.
The unisex trend works for both genders, and has been spied on jackets, jeans, and denim tops.
Gucci was one of the first brands to debut this trend, on cute jackets spied on everyone from Blue Ivy and Beyonce to Rihanna and 2 Chainz.
Now, an assortment of designers have jumped on board. Shop ’em up below:

Few brands have had the kind of industry traction and stronghold on celebrities the way Buscemi has. Thus, it only makes sense that Jon Buscemi is taking his eponymous label into the retail sector. He’s planning to open a 2,500 sq. ft. store in New York City’s SoHo shopping mecca during NYFW next month:
And the space will be much more than just a haven for retail therapy. It will also double as a gallery and exhibition space for the brand’s different collaborations and projects with artists.
Jourdan Dunn fronted the brand’s holiday campaign and stars like Remy Ma, French Montana, Kelly Rowland, and Tracee Ellis Ross have already been spotted in Buscemi kicks. So the store opening should be brimming with stylish celebs.

Rihanna indulged in some retail therapy across the pond at Harrod’s, outfitted in a $2,527 Raf Simons Black Down Oversized Coat and her very own Fenty x Puma Fall 2016 Heeled Booties:
Her nylon coat features down fill, long sleeves, an oversized fit, stand collar, yellow paneling at the shoulders, a button closure at the front, welt pockets at the wiast, dropped shoulders, and tonal stitching.
Her booties were shown several times on the runway.
