Legs for days! Always ready for an effortless slay, Rihanna took to streets of New York City clad in a striped button-down shirt, a Ventements denim frayed hem mini skirt and $795 Balenciaga Blue Velvet Broken Heel Sock Ankle Boots:
Her Italian-made stompers are crafted of navy patent calfskin and stretch velvet.
These stunners are partially lined and styled with a pointed toe and the house’s signature “broken” 4.5″ stiletto heel .
Talk about boot lustin’! The styling is impeccable and I’ll rock a pair in a heartbeat.
Multicolored prints aren’t just for the summer! Celebrities are gracing red carpets and beyond in fabulously colorful frocks for fall.
It’s been all about prints for Lupita Nyong’o during her Queen of Katwe press run! From Balmain to DPiper Twins as pictured above, she’s been positively killing it in eye catching colors.
Kristen Wiig looked bomb at the LA Masterminds Premiere in a Fall 2017 patchwork Marc Jacobs gown.
Kaley Cucuo looked lovely in a dazzling look by Mary Katrantzou.
Hilary Duff mixed it up in a leather printed skirt by Tanya Taylor.
Naomie Harris truly stunned at the Moonlight Official Competition 60th BFI London Film Festival Screening in a Valentino Resort 2017 Multicolor Beaded Tulle Dress.
I loved the multicolored Versace creation Dakota Fanning wore to the International Day of the Girl at the Empire State Building.
Lastly, Mel B looked absolutely vibrant in a dress by Fouad Sarkis Couture.
Bright, bold prints look good on anyone, no matter the season!

What began as a quest for inspiration, resulted in a beautiful collection of jaw-dropping, flawless imagery. Moshoodat, a makeup artist from Brooklyn, NY collaborated with Joey Rosado, infamously know on social media as islandboiphotography, to create a stunning gallery that mixes the richest melanin complexions with bright, bold colors. The self-titled series, “Moshoodat,” is beyond magical.
The series began with a single photo of Moshoodat and gradually grew into a collection of 6 beautiful, unique models. “Each and every model in the series brought something the table… like their energies, love and compassion fed me! And most of all I wanted to show women of color how magical, strong, talented, beautiful and gorgeous we are! I want we, as black women to be put on a pedestal the same way we look at The Kardashians,” she stated.
Although the project is named after her, Moshoodat credits her photographer for a lot of her inspiration. “Joey is a huge inspiration. I was definitely on the verge of quitting makeup because I wasn’t really creatively satisfied and was kinda over it but he convinced me to just try out the ideas I always wanted to do.” she said.
Perhaps the most talked about image in the series is Erica, a breast cancer survivor, who confidently exposed her scars for the shoot. Appropriately marketed during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, her image embodies the beauty, strength and resilience of today’s woman.
Moshoodat is the perfect example of what happens when you challenge yourself after lacking inspiration. Black Girl Magic in running rampant throughout these images! Visit our gallery to see the entire series.
Her cozy sweater features rib trim and a deep v-neck.
Her boots were perhaps named after the multi-hyphenate mogul! They boast 4.1″ stacked wooden heels, a pointed-toe silhouette, and a height that stretches above the ankle.
Simple and chic!
If you’re up for the splurge, get Chrissy’s topper and boots here and here.
The God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards went down last night with a slew of well dressed stars. Let’s see who popped by!
Chrissy Teigen demonstrated the power of the LBD in a black floral embroidered stretch tulle dress with bias silk chiffon ruffles from the Spring 2017 Michael Kors Collection. Hot!
It was all about prints for Tamron Hall in a colorful patterned blouse and pleated skirt from the brand. I live for her style!
Cynthia Erivo took it back a few seasons in a black paisley sequined silk georgette shift dress from the Transeason 2014 Michael Kors Collection, with $277 Silver Jacqueline Sandals, and a silver python clutch. Pretty!
Kate Hudson took to the carpet with the man of the night in a nutmeg floral satin jersey plunge dress from Spring 2017. Not as glamorous as I would have expected from Kate, but gorgeous nonetheless.
Today’s Bombshell of the Day is Samira from Silver Springs:
She writes, “My style is a little ‘difficult’ for me to describe because I really just like to wear what I feel comfortable and beautiful in.”
“Sometimes it’s a t-shirt with a fitted skirt, sometimes I like to go full glam mode with big curls, a fitted two piece, and my favorite heels (which you’ll notice a few times in my photos).”
“I try to throw different things together and create my own look so that people never really know what to expect. I would call my style: versatile.”
“I grew up a tomboy and playing sports so I love to try and throw a sporty flare into my ensemble every now and then.”
Samira, you have an amazing, vintage style! Your looks are like a blast from the blast with an updated flair!

Long time Fashion Bomb reader Jordan recently wrote in! He typed, “I’ve been looking all over for colorful men’s outerwear, and I can’t find any. The now-ended Details magazine did an editorial of all colored outerwear, and I was in love. I just want to find some at a more affordable price point. Would you be able to help me?”
This Ombré coat from Zara offers an updated take on your colorful request. The gray and black will fit seamlessly into your wardrobe, while the ombré will undoubtedly help you stand out from the crowd. Purchase this option here.
ASOS comes through yet again! This overcoat in rose is a stand out piece, and will add a shirt aura to a subdued look (I’m thinking wearing it with gray or cream. Yum!). Get it here.
This was hard! Finding colorful, affordable coats for men is certainly a feat, but I hope those helped.

We’ve all experienced that sense of intimidation when going into a super expensive store at some point in our lives. We think: I don’t belong here. I can’t afford to even think about buying this stuff. Is security following me? Let me run! Here’s my advice: stop that.
When I was younger, my mom used to drive my brother and I through the nicer neighborhoods in Atlanta, and we would ogle at the gorgeous mansions. And just like that, I got it in my mind that I wanted to live in a mansion, and I started dreaming bigger. It was the same case when I decided to pop by Asprey, an internationally known jewelry company that has a retail location at the Setai Hotel in Miami Beach (2001 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139). Founded in 1781, Asprey has a long relationship with British royalty and holds a Royal Warrant for every British monarch and several other foreign heads of state. In short, their jewelry is fit for a Queen. So I decided to try some pieces on.
Now…I normally wear costume jewelry from Topshop and Aldo. I really don’t spend a lot on jewelry! It’s just never been a thing for me. But let me tell you when that ice touches your wrist…! I can see why Lil Wayne made a song called Bling Bling. There is nothing like it.
Diamonds can be simple and understated. They electrify an outfit unlike anything else. And though I don’t have diamond money at the moment (the snazzy set above retails at $100,000), let me tell you, I’m now dreaming of diamonds. I told the manager of the store, Emerald, that I would be coming back in a year to purchase those pieces. Hold me to it.
I encourage you all to dream big. Give me one good reason why you shouldn’t have the best of everything in the world? I can’t see why not! And you deserve it.
Love + Light,
