Chrissy Teigen took to the Hamilton Behind The Camera Awards with hubby John Legend, clad in a Nicholas Oakwell Couture Black Chiffon Leather Crocodile Appliqué Dress:
Chrissy swapped in the coveted DSquared2 Riri Sandals for the runway’s black pointed-toe pumps.
Another night, another awards show! The MTV Europe Music Awards went down in Rotterdam, Netherlands with our favorite supermodels, rappers, actresses, and style stars making an appearance.
Check out the evening’s ‘fits!
Jourdan Dunn smoldered in a sheer, embellished Balmain turtleneck gown. Stunning, no?
After taking to the stage, Jourdan returned in a leggy Julien Macdonald design. Another flawless getup for the British babe!
Winnie Harlow looked every bit the supermodel in a black sheer, embellished Roberto Cavalli gown. I cannot get enough of her: she’s next-level gorgeous!
Tinie Tempah went bold in a houndstooth Gucci tux. I love his style.
Nina Dobrev was a pastel dream in a beaded Elie Saab stunner. Hot!
Dutch beauty Eva Simons followed Nina’s lead in a lavender, embellished look.
Deepika Padukone wore a custom ensemble from designer Monisha Jaising and her stylist Shaleena Nathani—accented by Balmain accoutrements. Definitely not for the faint of heart, but she pulled it off!
Singer/rapper/producer Mr. Probz layered it on in a fedora, wool jacket, colorful printed scarf, and suede Yeezy kicks. I’m definitely keeping my eye out for him— he’s so handsome!
Last, but certainly not least was Jaden Smith in an oversized denim jacket, graphic t-shirt, black trousers, and classic kicks.
Social media influencer Kenza Zouiten took to the MTV Europe Music Awards 2016 in the same Balmain Fall 2016 Pink Embellished Fringe Mini Dress Kylie Jenner originally wore back in September:
Kenza paired the stunner with a sleek ponytail, a black clutch, and strappy black sandals. Kylie chose a timeless middle part and Yeezy PVC sandals.
The dress was anchored with powder blue suede, thigh-high boots on the brand’s Fall 2016 runway.

Her stretch crepe dress features cut out detailing across the bust, long sleeves, gold eyelet and chain accents, and a high neckline. Nicole wear her piece backwards to let the gold embellishment play centerstage.
Hot! I love that she wore this backwards.
If you’re up for the splurge, get Nicole’s frock here.
The 20th Annual Hollywood Film Awards went down last night at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. Our favorite actresses, the cast of Moonlight, one of the most stylish rock stars in the world, and more were in attendance.
Let’s see what they wore!
Naomie Harris was suited up in a silver Gucci pairing. Hot!
Couture was on the menu for Janelle Monae in a classic iteration on her black and white signatures in Georges Chakra. This was fab.
Camila Alves took us back to Spring in a black, floral-embroidered Georges Hobeika belted gown with a thigh-high slit. Randall Scott Fine Jewelry completed her look. She’s always stunning!
Edgar Ramirez repped for the fellas in an expertly-tailored, three piece gray suit. So dapper!
Mahershala Ali kept it simple and timeless, though he’d honestly look good in anything!
Leslie Mann went bold in an ombré Jenny Packham gown. Gorgeous, no?
Silk satin accents uplifted Lenny Kravitz’s all-black look. Is he growing his locs back? Yes Lenny!
Lily Collins sizzled in a cutout gown from David Koma with a thigh-high slit.
A strapless black jumpsuit was on the agenda for Andie Macdowell. This woman is almost 60 ladies and gentleman. Can you say blessed?
Nicole Kidman was a floral dream in a Giambattista Valli stunner. She never disappoints!
Kate Hudson went for the plunge in a floral-embroidered Marchesa gown and Randall Scott Fine Jewelry. Clearly, there’s no reason to stop wearing flowers just because it’s autumn.
Hey Heyyyyy!
So I’m in Las Vegas for the Soul Train Awards. But before I hopped on that long flight, I spoke at a conference called Simply Stylist in New York.
Bloggers like Damsel in Dior and Kat from With Love from Kat spoke on panels and offered advice on blogging, social media, and more.
It was interesting that I was pegged to be on the entrepreneur panel and not the ‘blogger’ panel, but when you think about it, I’m doing more than blogging these days! My book is done and off to the editor; today I am a Style Correspondent for the Soul Train Awards! Isn’t GOD good, by the way?!?
So I’ll be honest: I picked up a few items from Net a Porter to wear to the Soul Train Awards, just so that I could have options. I ultimately decided to wear something else, but didn’t want to let my fab finds go to waste. So I wore a gown to the conference. Specifically Solace London’s Black Paige Belted Cutout Maxi Dress.
I tried to dress it down with hoops and Christian Louboutin pumps, but THEN I slipped on a fur and proceeded to be totally overdressed.LOL.
Fashion Is supposed to be fun! You’re supposed to stand out. Glitter, sparkle, and shine. Life is your stage and the world is your runway.
I said hey to Vanessa Simmons, who gave the Keynote. She looked bomb in French Connection and Christian Louboutin Heart pumps.
Then I was off to the airport!
I’m in Las vegas for one day, then am back home to NYC…then off to Lagos, Nigeria.
Where will I go next…(hint LA)?
Love + Light,
Tina Lawson and Beyonce supported Solange Last night at Saturday Night Live! Beyonce congratulated her sister wearing a $450 Senorita Dress by Alice McCall:
The sheer long sleeve midi-length dress is crafted from a bespoke spot tulle fabric and features a unique scalloped trim across the body and hemline and peekaboo side leg splits.
Solange Knowles took A Seat at the Table at Saturday Night Live last night, singing one of her most popular songs, Cranes in the Sky. The eclectic beauty went for 60’s inspiration in earrings and a custom crystal dress by Erickson Beamon, worn over a La Perla Silk Flair Bandeau Bra and Silk Flair Full Briefs.
She fashioned her hair into a crown with the help of Crowezilla, who wrote on Instagram, “40+ hours of beading and braiding well spent. I have so many feelings! Infinite Gratitude for such Divine synergy!”
Solange looked beautiful and she sounded amazing!
What did you think of her ensemble and performance?
The gloves are off! And, we have another Who Wore It Better battle brewing!
For a recent apperance at the premiere of the film Loving, actress Lupita Nyong’o rocked a head-to-toe Kenzo x H&M ‘fit that features the collab’s $70 Off-the-Shoulder Tiered Floral Print Blouse. But, let’s not forget, Christina Milian also uplifted the same piece a few days ago.
The playful top boasts loads of color, mixed graphic prints and tiered ruffle detailing. If you’rr up for the purchase, try your luck here!
I think both ladies look amazing! While Lupita opted for more of an eye-catching appeal, Christina dressed down the eccentric piece with simple black jeans and bold pumps. Gotta give credit where it’s due!
