From a high powered executive to a sassy cheerleading captain of a rival high school to an emotionally conflicted television news anchor, this actress’s body of work has evolved dramatically over the 20-something years she’s been in the business. And as her work has catapulted her into major success over the last few years, Gabrielle Union-Wade’s style has definitely kept up.
Initially, this Omaha, Nebraska native wasn’t the red carpet star we know her as today. Should the time call for making an appearance, she was certainly a jacket and jeans sort of girl. And that simplicity at its core always stuck with her.
As the years progressed, so did her style, especially after teaming up with noted image consultant, Jason Bolden. A fan of all things black, Gabrielle eventually took a liking to wearing more jewel toned pieces on carpets and at events. And with skin as gorgeous as hers, she can practically pull off any hue. I mean, seriously. Did she find and bottle the Fountain of Youth or what?!
As of last year, she started working with stylist, Thomas Christos, who brought with him prints, textures, separates and fabulous Dion Lee coats. From Prada to Prabal Gurung, Gabrielle’s been bringing it in the style department by showcasing increased wardrobe versatility.
When she’s not slaying with equally stylish husband, basketball phenom Dwyane Wade, she’s killing it on the small screen on BET’s Being Mary Jane and has a new action flick coming soon with Jamie Foxx called Sleepless. Our girl stays busy!
Here’s to Mrs. Union-Wade who we’re sure will keep us on our toes with even more fabulous looks to come!

Girls, are you ready to GAG? I absolutely love all the style David Nyani has supplied from Pitti Uomo. Every single subject is dapper defined, I promise!
You ready?
@DucDubois‘s gray suit provided a nice contrast against the red carpet on the stairs. Though his suit is sublime, I’m feeling his subtle accessories: driving gloves, fedora, and umbrella.
This red staircase is the best place for photos! @Laduma shined in a gray suit and multicolored sweater.
Guys, are you taking notes? Pitti Uomo essentials include a suit, tailored coat, abbreviate hem, and swag. @SaschaVenus checks all the boxes.
@LouxtheVintageGuru struck a pose in a blue suit, accented by a striped tie and a paisley scarf.
This striped suit and gold buttoned jacket are utter perfection. This is menswear done right!
I’m clearly very excited about these. If you are, too, check out the rest in the gallery above.
What do you think?

With the start of a new year, we’re all about introducing fresh faces. While we may all know her as the daughter of Steve and Marjorie Harvey, this week’s beauty crush, Lori Harvey, is well on her way to creating a name for herself in the worlds of fashion and beauty.
As the daughter of a mega-successful entertainer and a woman as fashionable and fabulous as Marjorie, Lori may have some fierce shoes to fill. But it seems the gorgeous 19-year-old front row fashion week fixture, who boasts over 213,000 Instagram followers, is doing so with ease, especially when it comes to makeup.
Lori knows what works for her complexion and typically favors nudes and earthy tones on the lips and eyes and a little bit of Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder bronzer for good measure. But every now and then, she’ll punch things up with a striking red lip. Classic, no?As for hair, she has a lot of it, but manages it so well. Whether bone straight, curly, or showcasing cascading waves, her mane stays on point with nary a strand out of place.
So, here’s to this week’s beauty crush, Lori Harvey! Stylish, beautiful, and a selfie savant with major confidence! Like mother, like daughter!

In commemoration of our forever President Barack Obama, I thought I’d feature a Bomb Product featuring his beaming visage: Andre Woolery’s Canvas Print:
The painting is a photograph of Woolery’s more intricate push pin artwork, which features over 10,000 push pins made to mimic black skin. Check out the original.
Yesterday, our nation mourned as beloved President Barack Obama delivered his Farewell Speech. It is the end of a golden era. The First Family will be missed.
Though Sasha was away, studying for an exam, Malia and First Lady Michelle Obama attended the event in style, with Michelle in a Jason Wu Fall 2016 black lace dress, and Malia in Cinq a Sept’s $395 Seraphina Colorblock Lace Dress.
One of our Instagram fans commented that Mrs. Obama kicked off her reign in Jason Wu, and ended in similarly. There is beauty in loyalty.
Malia looked lovely in Cina a Sept’s Seraphina dress, which flaunts feminine elements, including a curvy fit-and-flare silhouette and blouson sleeves.
Get Malia’s dress at Bloomingdales.
Not only will I miss their presence in the White House–I’ll miss their style as well!
How about you?

Stars are really putting in work on the red carpet this week, but luckily most of them are partaking in either receiving or bestowing awards! The 2017 Marie Claire Image Maker Awards went down last night with our favorite style mavens in attendance.
Here are the evening’s fantastic ensembles:
Janelle Monae presented the New Guard Stylist Award to her amazing stylist Maeve Reilly in a black and white, trompe l’oeil tuxedo Thom Browne dress and Edie Parker clutch. Can you tell why Maeve received the distinction?
Jessica Alba was suited up in a black suede Balmain pairing. Olivier can do no wrong!
If social media had royalty, it would be Kylie Jenner. She was ravishing and regal in a sexy Balmain duo.
Supermodel Cindy Crawford presented Olivier with the Icon Designer award in one of his sultry black gowns. I love these two.
A woman can never go wrong in a little black dress, right? Alexandra Shipp was one of the many gorgeous stars who donned one for the occasion. Hers was from one of our faves: none other than Solace London.
A larger than life ‘fro and an Ellery black lace-up jumpsuit with white contrast accents were on the agenda for Kiersey Clemons. Hot!
Shay Mitchell added red lips to her statement-making, asymmetric shoulder cutout jumpsuit for a pop of color. I need this in my wardrobe.
Justine Skye slipped a rust, boudoir-esque duster over a curve-hugging LWD for the night. She just gets it!
Jordyn Woods flaunted her curves in a black and white bodycon dress. Gorgeous, no?
A Vivienne Westwood LBD was Emmanuelle Chriqui’s choice for the evening. I always love a head-turning Westwood frock!
Elizabeth Olsen was pretty in pink in Emilio Pucci.
Confession: I’m obsessed with Patrick Starr! His black turban, jumpsuit, and green fur vest were so chic.
Cleopatra Coleman is one to her watch! Her embellished stripe dress was the epitome of high-fashion.
Famed stylist Cristina Erhlich picked up the Stylist Award in an expertly-tailored white suit. Hot!
Maeve Reilly showed us why she’s the best in a come hither LBD with a thigh-high slit.
