Keke Palmer is back in NYC to do some promotion for her book, I Don’t Belong to You, clad in a Tadashi Shoji Resort 2017 Powder Blue Jumpsuit and powder blue Helen Yarmak fur:
The powder blue lace jumpsuit features a deep v-neck, wide leg pants and pocket on each side.
She completed her ensemble with a Helen Yarmak Spring 2016 fur.
I’m a fan of this look. The color is refreshing and looks great against her skin.
In the fashion shake-up heard around the globe, Riccardo Tisci has left Givenchy after 12 long years. In a statement posted to his Instagram account, the designer wrote, “A giant heartfelt thank you to #givenchy, #lvmh, my incredible team, the magical atelier and everyone who made these 93 collections possible and all the other crazy adventures. Your love and support, in the day and in the night, will forever remain in my heart.”
In a statement made by Bernard Arnault, chairman of chief executive officer of Givenchy and owner of LVMH, he said, “The chapter Riccardo Tisci has written with the house of Givenchy over the last 12 years represents an incredible vision to sustain its continuous success, and I would like to warmly thank him for his core contribution to the house’s development.”
Tisci left Givenchy on January 31st when his contract ended. While he will not be showing at this year’s Paris Fashion Week, stars will show their support for the designer by wearing his final designs at the Grammy Awards and the Oscars.
The designer has dressed the likes of Beyonce Knowles, Kim Kardashian, Ciara, Madonna and many more. While his work with Givenchy will be missed, rumor has it, he will be joining forces with the Versace team very soon. Although it has not been confirmed, we are excited to see what magic he will bring to the table at his next position!

World, STOP! Yesterday Beyonce announced that she is pregnant with twins! The mogul took to Instagram on the first day of Black History Month and posted a photo of her growing baby bump. She is rumored to be 4-5 months along.
The caption read, “We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for our well wishes.” -The Carters
The announcement photo featured Beyonce surrounded by clouds and flowers sitting on what seems to be a nest. Her undergarments are assumed to be an indication of the sex of the babies. It has been speculated that her $130 maroon Agent Provocateur tulle bra represents a girl and her $95 powder blue panties by Liviara represents a boy.
As if that wasn’t enough excitement, this morning, the singer released a series of photos from her maternity shoot. As to show her strength and gracefulness, Queen Bey poses under water while flaunting her growing bump.
In another set of photos, her first born child Blue Ivy Carter embraces her mom and future siblings with a tender kiss to the belly.
In some shots, Beyonce embodies a modern-day hippie as she lays back surrounded by bold colors and beautiful flowers.

If the name Jan-Michael Quammie does not ring a bell, it is time for you to get familiar (trust me, the pleasure is all mine!). Though one could spend hours scrolling through her bright, bold, and eclectic ensembles, she is more than just the rising street style superstar that she is.
Allow me to introduce you to the newly appointed Fashion Director at InStyle Germany. Quammie first started as a sales manager at a luxury retail store in New York. She knew she wanted to pursue a career as a retail buyer, and was able to move her way up to acquire said position within the company.
Her resumé is one to envy, placing her in various markets: Saks Fifth Avenue in New York, Net-a-Porter in Shanghai, and MyTheresa.com in Munich (it’s no wonder she calls herself a citizen of the world!). Along with being a retail buyer, she was also a senior fashion stylist, working with reputable brands to style runway looks.
When asked what she likes most about fashion by LaLa Berlin she says, “Fashion is a form of art and art is a different representation of life itself. Fashion is forever evolving, but can also be repetitive, which is really interesting. I love being a part of that creative process that occurs behind the scenes.”
Her style is reminiscent of Brooklyn in the 90s.
One of her biggest aspirations is to become a humanitarian. She says, “I want to give all the luck I have back to people who need it.” What a noble aspiration!

I remember exactly where I was the first time I heard “Just Dance” blazing from the speakers. It was in a nightclub in Toronto, Canada, where the song had been number one on the charts for weeks. And since then, I, along with many other Little Monsters all over the world, have been hooked. Lady Gaga’s contribution to music has been nothing short of successful, with more than 27 million albums sold since 2008 and sold out tours with tons of adoring fans jumping in the audience.
Let’s not forget that Gaga’s art not only lives through her music and her performances, but through her style and affinity for fashion.
In the early days, Gaga’s interpretation of what a pop-star should be bled through what she wore. Blonde wigs and costumes festooned with bubbles, sculptured shoulders, and three dimensional, geometric figures were her go to’s. She never stepped outside without wearing something to leave onlookers in awe. Not to mention, she inspired many a Halloween costume during her Fame era.
Red carpets came to life when Gaga appeared. From an astronomical, galactic inspired Armani dress at the Grammy’s to a laser cut, metallic leather Atelier Versace jacket to last year’s Met Gala, to her iconic meat dress at the 2010 MTV VMA’s, not a moment goes by without her leaving onlookers either loving it, or scratching their heads. Given how much praise she’s received from the CFDA for her fashion risks, we’d say, so far, so good.
As for airport style, well, let’s say Gaga definitely prefers fashion over functionality. Sky high boots, headdresses and elaborate costumes are no deterrent for her when it comes to getting through TSA.
These days, post American Horror Story and 6th album Joanne, Lady Gaga is showcasing more of her demure side, relying on the creations of friend, Brandon Maxwell, to enhance her femininity and glamorous side. Strapless dresses in white or black without the bells and whistles definitely delineates a more mature Gaga, which resonates through her latest album.
And when she’s not all dolled up, this go ’round, she prefers a good rocker tee and denim shorts. But we’re not fooled. We may not know what to expect from her Superbowl Halftime performance this year, but we’re sure she’s going to pull out all the stops.
So many accomplishments for one of the greatest entertainers to ever walk the planet, and just as many fantastic style moments too. So, here’s to Lady Gaga; a woman unafraid to be herself, a woman who stands her ground and fights for what is right, and a true style savant.
