Her black and silver stretch jersey dress hails from the brand’s Spring 2017 collection. It features ruched detailing, structured shoulders, a nipped-in belted waist, and allover star print.
She writes, “I’ve always been in love with fashion and all things creative.”
“I would describe my style as effortlessly bomb AF (lol) that’s really what I say.”
No really I would say its a tomboy attitude with a feminine flair. Some days I’m girly. I love a tulle skirt and a cute playful purse. I love a tomboy look and I also take pleasure in a sexy edgy look.

Over the weekend, rumors spread that Kanye West is looking into transforming Calabasas High School’s athletic wear and mascot name.
So far, only a phone call and link up occurred between Yeezy’s team and the president of CHS which was considerably a “low-level meeting.“
Las Virgenes Unified School District Superintendent, Dan Stepenosky spoke with AM 570 LA Sports Lunchtime about any truth to the partnership, even the $20 million tradeoff supposedly in the works but they’re still awaiting a proposal.
Stepenosky said, “There seems to be a lot more rumors than actual facts.” First, “$20 million is not accurate.” Second, “We received no proposal. We really don’t have anything to respond to.”
Rumor has it West also wants to change the school’s mascot name from Coyotes to Wolves. Stepenosky says it’s really not up for debate as the Alumnae classes will “lose their mind.” Although he did speak to CHS students and they would highly accept a celebrity icon to change the team name.
But what’s interesting about the uniform takeover the Yeezy Team wants is the similarities in the fashion realm.
Coincidentally, Adidas already has a partnership with CHS chscoyotefootball, so it’s a no brainer that the rapper/designer wants to collaborate since Adidas partner’s with Yeezy’s line as well.
Also, the mogu,l who lives in Calabasas with many highly acclaimed celebrities, already dropped a Calabasas inspired collection in March. And more recently, Kanye dropped a 1980’s throwback Adidas shoe called: “Adidas Yeezy Powerphase.”
The latest shoe was released on June 4th on Adidas.com, but is currently sold out and only can be purchased at third party retailers like Kixify for double the price or more from it’s original selling at $120.
Much of Yeezy’s Calabasas line has a sporty appeal, with labeling vertically and/or horizontally across reading “Calabasas.” It already proves there’s some school pride involved as the Ready-to-Wear collection is currently sold out at Yeezy Supply which says a lot about most fortunate millennials of Calabasas.
The only thing the collection is truly missing if it were to cater to CHS uniform policy is its black and gold school colors. The maroon, black and navy blue apparel definitely separates from what may determine what the alleged future athletic gear may consist of, but maybe that’s just what the school needs.
Typically a space for the beauties that dominate Tinsletown, this week, we’re shining a light on a model whose beauty transcends the exterior. South Sudanese/Minnesota based model Nyakim Gatwech has been making waves across the blogosphere, and it’s not hard to see why.
With skin as dark and flawless as a polished obsidian stone, Nyakim glows in just about any color. And being a makeup enthusiast allows her room to play with vivid colors. Bright blues, reds, and yellows pop against her smoldering complexion, especially when paired with bold colored clothing.
Even in printed designs, the patterns don’t overwhelm her look and compliment her skin tone so beautifully.Despite slaying photoshoot after photoshoot, however, the 24 year old has been on the receiving end of some ridiculous questions and comments as it relates to her skin. She recounted an exchange with an Uber driver earlier this year.
“I was (asked by) my Uber driver the other day, he said, ‘Don’t take this offensive but if you were given 10 thousand dollars would you bleach your skin for that amount?’”
Her response? A guttural laugh that pretty much answered his question with a resounding ” hell no!”
In a world still motivated by European beauty standards, Nyakim unabashedly goes against the grain, grateful for the “melanin God blessed her with.” Though she has admitted the thought of lightening her skin crossed her mind a few years ago, the negative and harmful effects of the skin lightening process didn’t seem as appealing anymore. She eventually became comfortable in her own skin, and that comfort turned into confidence. Now boasting over 100,000 Instagram followers, Nyakim (@queenkim_nyakim) feels it’s her duty to be a beacon of hope and a pillar of inspiration for women who still struggle with skin-positivity and self-acceptance. For that, and literally laughing in the face of privileged ignorance, we salute Nyakim!

Bella Hadid’s hair is inarguably one of the most talked-about moments at last night’s 2017 CFDA Awards. Her banged bob was almost too chic for words—perfectly paired with her pink, belted Off-White dress and designer Virgil Abloh by her side for the occasion.
The brunette beauty has been working with Jen Atkin for some time, thus it was no surprise that the hair guru was the brains behind her beautiful tresses. To get the details on how to get Hadid’s hair for the night—which included a clip-in bang—read on…
