Hey there, Bombers and Bombshells! Hope you all had a fabulous week. It’s always a treat to bring you guys the tally on what looks you guys liked the most on Instagram based on your likes. Here are the folks that had you double tapping:
What a vision Karrueche was in this tiered soft yellow dress by Julia Domani. Sporting a high low design, the dress also had billowy sleeves reminiscent of the 70s. Can’t forget the big haired ponytail that added to the wow factor of it all. Love!
You gotta love a woman who can switch it up. Exactly this time last week, we were all swooning over the epic Versace finale that Naomi took part of as her and her 90s super model comrades strut their stuff on the runway as if they had never skip a beat. Fast forward and you’ve got Naomi chilling in her Off_White x Nike kicks and a hot pair of Alexander Vauthier camo pants. Cheers to a girl who can do both!
Date nights for Jay-Z must be a helluva treat as wifey, Beyoncé, never ceases to amaze with her looks. This Johanna Ortiz floral ensemble gives off all the flirty vibes necessary for a night out with the Hubs. Not to mention the perfect accentuation to her lovely curves. Can we just say kudos to the Carter’s for showing us how to balance parenting and marriage amidst having newborn twins!
First thing that came to mind when I saw this was, Prince. Are there really any words to describe how glorious Cassie looks in this purple stunner by Redemption? You’ve got the low dip in the front, with the mini factor showcasing those legs, coupled with the draped fabric. This is just all sorts of good!
Lady Grace caught us all off with her new do, done by none other than Ursula Stephen. She wore this gorgeous emerald suit by Styland to the premiere of Empire. The perfect attire to celebrate the return of one of the most anticipated shows. Doesn’t this get up make her look like a boss lady making power moves or should I say “money moves”?
Every Fall, Swedish retailers H&M launches a highly anticipated collaboration. You may remember the Balmain capsule in 2015 or the Kenzo line in 2016. This year they’ve tapped popular crooner The Weeknd for an 18 piece piece collection officially called ‘H&M presents The Weeknd Collection’. It is not the R&B singer’s first time working with H&M as last Spring he offered up the ‘Spring Icon’ line with the retailer. The Weeknd shared a promo video to his Instagram yesterday previewing the collection.
In an interview with Complex, he said,“Every piece is both effortless and fresh, which is just how menswear should be.” The capsule collection boasts satin jackets, hoodies, jeans, and even some boots. Men, consider your streetwear covered with this line. It features embroidered pieces and sweatshirts with The Weeknd’s signature logo “XO” emblazoned across them.
The best part? The prices start at $14.99 and nothing retails for over $100. The line launched today just in time for the chilly weather. You can shop online or in stores. See more from the latest offering below.
The industry has been patiently awaiting the first Chloé collection from new Creative Director Natacha Levi-Ramsay, since she took over the role from Clare Waight-Keller in early late Winter 2017. Today was her and the house’s big day and the former Louis Vuitton Senior Director’s looks were totally on point:
Flirty LWDs featured edgy grommet detailing, while lace-up, open toe booties anchored frocks with aplomb.
Exotic skins came into play with fabrics channeling snakeskin. They made quite the statement when juxtaposed against white lace and solid knits. Particularly head-turning were an orange mini skirt and lace-up, colorful boots.
Embellishment made the case for red carpet and high-fashion event dressing for the house’s fans including Fan Bingbing, Rita Ora, Sienna Miller, and Vanessa Hudgens.

He writes, “I don’t really count too many people that I can say influence me really. Let’s say that I’m more impressed on certain kind of details like the way a piece of clothe will fall, minimalism, the swagg!”
“Maybe I could name nas, faboulous, kanye. My style doesn’t have barriers really.”
“I like scandinivian brands like (acne/Hm/monki/cos/Han..) few French brands like Ami et Études. I was about to forget one of my favorite Y3!!!”
“My style is a mix between yesterday codes and today. With minimalism.”

Few do glamour as full-on and in-your-face than Olivier Rousteing. His Spring 2018 collection for Balmain returned to the house’s penchant for chic, black and white looks that could literally stop traffic—from Paris to Peru.
Thigh-high black leather, peep-toe boots anchored some of the assortment’s girliest frocks, while transparent, PVC booties immediately shot to the top of the season’s most coveted accessories lists.
Embellished overalls, leather zip-accented skinnies, and gold-trim trousers presented flashy, yet real-time options for glitzy dressing.
The house naturally spared no expense with the details. There were studs, crystals, and feathers galore.
Who doesn’t wear Balmain on the red carpet at this point? Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Priyanka Chopra, or Alessandra Ambrosio would look killer in any of the runway’s getups. A silver studded set on Herieth Paul was as shimmering and sparkling as it gets, while a sheer, embellished sweater and high-low skirt was clearly made for the likes of the bad gal herself.
All eyes were on Lanvin this week, as the iconic French fashion house’s Spring 2018 collection was to be new Artistic Director, Olivier Lapidus’ runway debut. His appointment in the coveted role came after a 16-month stint for former Artistic Director, Bouchra Jarrar—setting fashion’s everlasting musical chairs game in motion yet again.
In July, Lapidus revealed that he aimed to make Lanvin “a French Michael Kors” in a Business of Fashion interview—perhaps returning the brand to its former glory (and sales) under iconic designer Alber Elbaz. He attempted that right out of the gate with a collection heavy in wearability, but with a lack of the pizazz the house is known for.
Functional black trousers were paired with wispy strapless and sheer, button-front shirts, sharp blazers, and va-va-voom printed, halter bra tops.
Logos made the case for millennial consumption on sexy, plunging mini dresses, sultry keyhole-accented tops, high-waist skirts, and cocktail-perfect frocks.
Most of the assortment was neutral, but hues of pink and red did lend that refreshing Spring-like quality to the collection.
Lanvin has long been a red carpet go-to for women like Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomie Harris, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Elle Fanning. The gowns presented here were rather minimalist in comparison with typical movie star glamour, but they could be transformed with the right hair, makeup, and accessories.
