Beauty Bomb News: Fenty Beauty Drops 10 New Mattemoiselle Shades

By Limsan Boulter (@limo_x) for Fashion Bomb Daily

Hot on the heels of Fenty Beauty’s Fu$$y Gloss Bomb and Fairy Bomb loose shimmer powder December launches, Rihanna has blessed us again this holiday season with 10 new Mattemoiselle shades!

Beauty-Bomb-News-Fenty-Beauty-Drops-10-New-Mattemoiselle-Shades.-5

Started with just 14 shades back in 2017 the small and slimline lipsticks are perfect for on the go, with minimal touch ups required. The long-wearing, feather-light formula is comfortable and packs a serious color punch. The lipsticks come encased beautifully in silver – true Fenty Beauty style. Due to the thin design, application is a breeze. Easily apply your favorite highly pigmented shade in one swoop.

For the promo shots, Rihanna’s makeup artist Priscilla Ono used all Fenty Beauty products. Interestingly, she used Diamond Milk Gloss Bomb on RiRi’s lids to create an on trend wet eye look **life hack alert**

Rihanna says of Mattemoiselle “Lipstick is all about having fun and expressing your mood at any given moment. This collection makes it easier than ever because there’s a color for everyone.”

Fashion Bomb Exclusive Maternity Editorial: Remy Ma Styled by Daniel Hawkins and Photographed by Island Boi for Fashion Bomb Daily

You might have heard the news: @FashionBombDaily @FashionBombMen @FashionBombKids and @FashionBombAfrica are back!
After almost 9 months of being offline and out of sorts, we were blessed with a wonderful Christmas miracle! To celebrate our new beginning, we thought it only fitting to highlight an exclusive maternity shoot we did with Remy Ma, merely a few weeks before she gave birth to her very own Christmas bundle of joy: a beautiful baby girl.

We at Fashion Bomb Daily love Remy Ma because she is a survivor. No matter what she’s been through in life, she has managed to make the best out it and come out on top.

Stylist Daniel Hawkins placed Remy Ma in pieces by Discount Universe, Shop Diamant Noir, A Small Token, Alejandro Collection, Christian Louboutin, and more. He said, “She wanted to show how to be a fashionable pregnant woman and to be a little different from every other maternity shoot. We [aimed] to show that you can be fabulous, and you can be amazing as a pregnant woman.”

He added, “I definitely wanted to capitalize on the snakeskin/animal print trend that is going on right now. A lot of times with a pregnant woman, you can be afraid of doing these things, but it’s ok if it’s done right.”

Theo Barrett and Yeika Glow worked magic on Remy’s myriad hair and makeup looks, while photographer Island Boi captured her glow.

Remy said, “Just because you’re pregnant, you don’t have to look pregnant. You don’t have to shop at maternity stores, you don’t have to wear empire waists or mumus. At first I was getting a lot of flack like, ‘Oh she’s hiding the baby.’ If I were hiding it, I would have never told y’all nosy asses (laughs). You’re in a state of your life where your body is changing every day. You may not feel or think that you look your best. So putting on clothes that don’t flatter you definitely won’t help. I wanted to people to see that I’m literally due in 17 days, and you can still be cute, have fun, and look popping.”

And what does she love about Fashion Bomb Daily? “[Fashion Bomb Daily] covers high fashion and [also covers] people who are just out and about. That’s what people need to see. When people think of fashion, they only think of designer, name brand, and high fashion. That’s not just fashion. Even when it’s not something that cost thousands of dollars, you guys put it up, and I think a lot of people respect it.”

Thanks, Remy!

What do you think of the shoot?
Congrats and many blessings to her, Papoose, and the whole Mackie Family!

What to Wear: Top Holiday Looks to Consider for a Real Sleigh…

Written by: Jennet Jusu (@TheJusuQuench) | Fashion Bomb Intern

There’s a certain standard you have to commit to when you’re either A) the fashionista of the bunch B) the one to set the standards for the living room, or C) as the life of the party, know it’s imperative that you arrive–even fashionably late–with a jaw dropping look for a true season’s greeting. For the holidays, these Fashion bombers have the top looks worthy of appreciation while serving as our inspirations (the scoop on where to buy included!) Don’t worry Fashion Bombers, it’s totally fine if you’re all the above!

Makeup guru Aaliyah Jay, below, with her find from Fashion Nova, makes her all black moment look absolutely luxe. She pairs her close-fitting blazer, with black Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps, and a chain Chanel bag; her bold red lip giving her outfit just enough color to add as an accent with the sparkles complimenting her dress, as well as the gold buttons. Other goodies from House of CB, are shown on both Sandra Shehab and Youtuber EstareLive, of a style range from sleek and effortless, to alternative and dauntless. too. The red off the shoulder dress and red lip doesn’t do too much, or crowd the moment. Neither does the silver dress of intricate details of the draping and deep cut. Each look has its own signature style, while still being simple enough dress up or even dress down.

But to compliment the Christmas Tree for an extra festive look, perhaps Tartan is your go to. Style influencer Lydia Rose, with her constant bomb fashionable moments on blog @FashionInflux, pairs her two piece from House of CB that gives you Cher from Clueless but for Christmas! She also serves another stylish look with her play on textures, from BooHoo, with a burgundy felt skirt and a slouchy turtleneck sweater. For a great pairing of such a pattern and texture, black patent leather snakeskin, or fire red engine red booties from Public Desire are also good choices I’d recommend. Here, you’re not playing it safe at all, but instead you’re conscious of patterns, textures, as well as colors that can match perfectly well.

Lastly, notoriously known as MsBlingMiami, Pascale Rowe gives you an idea of what Mrs. Claus for Christmas would be captured wearing, if only she had the range and closet to match! From her own brand ‘MsBlingBling’, she dons a red waist length pant, with her ‘Manchester’ blouse that isn’t just plain, although simple, with a red and black bow. Her sparkly ‘Birthday Suit’ sequined set also a classic that’s suitable for any Christmas party ( giving you slight ornament tease), or a way to bring in the New Year. Whether, sparkly, felt, patent, suited, dressy, sleek and clean cut, the range of Holiday fashion doesn’t have to be too complicated if you have the right style in mind, with your own signature touch to put it all together. With such attempts, you’re sure to bring Joy to the World…the fashion world, that is.

New Rules For Dressing Your Bridesmaids for 2019

The term ‘bridezilla’ is something no bride-to-be wants to be assigned to her. Unfortunately, there are plenty of brides that abuse their friends and family’s generosity and forget that “my day” is only a mere 12 hours, but they’ll have to live with the way they hurt people for years afterward!

One of the most common spots where brides go wrong is in dictating exactly how their bridesmaids must look and dress the day of the wedding. While it was common in the past for a bride to choose the bridesmaid dresses, this has started to change.

To make sure you don’t run afoul of the friends standing with you at the altar, follow these important etiquette tips for choosing your bridesmaid dresses.

Plan it early

Don’t make your bridesmaid scramble at the last minute to find or order dresses because you couldn’t make up your mind. You should be choosing the overall look of your wedding 6 to 8 months in advance to give them plenty of time to find dresses and have them tailored.

Consider cost

Not all your bridesmaids will have the same financial situation, so be aware of that when choosing bridesmaid dresses. Even if one of your wealthier bridesmaids loves a $600 dress, that may not be feasible for everyone else. You could even send out an anonymous survey to the brides with price points for them to choose from.

Give them options

Maybe you love pink bridesmaid dresses, but your girls don’t? Consider letting them have slightly different color options. Instead of just ‘pink,’ offer them any color in that spectrum, from blush to dusty rose bridesmaid dresses. This will prevent conflict and also make sure that all your bridesmaids feel pretty in their dresses.

There is no ‘universally flattering’ fit

As convenient as it would be for one dress to work for every body type, it’s just not true. Because of this, consider letting your girls have different dress styles that are all the same shade. This will keep the look cohesive without putting one of your bridesmaids in a dress that will make her deeply uncomfortable.

Make your bridesmaid gift something useful

Your bridesmaids are going to be spending a lot of money to attend your wedding, so giving them a little token of appreciation is common. That being said, make it something they’ll actually use. They don’t want a single champagne glass with you and your hubby’s initials on it. Instead, offer to cover the cost of their makeup application for the day, or give them each individualized gifts that reflect their personalities.

Think about your bridesmaids’ lives

Not all of your bridesmaids will have time to go on four-hour shopping sprees or to tan before the wedding. Take a minute to consider life events that may be coming up for your bridesmaids, whether that’s a big project at work or a pregnancy.

Don’t forget the photographs

Don’t just consider how the dresses look on the rack or on models, consider how they will photograph and how the material and color will look in the venue and in the light (depending what time of day you’re marrying).

Offset Spends Almost $250,000 on Gifts for Cardi B on Christmas: Chanel, Hermes, and Louboutin

Cardi B shared (then deleted) the below video with her followers, displaying gifts Offset purchased for her for Christmas:

Offset splurged on 7 pairs of Christian Louboutin heels for Ms. Belcalis, including $1,295 Alta Firma See-Through Vinyl Red Sole Pumps, $1,195 Follies Strass 85mm Glitter-Heel Mesh Red Sole Pumps, $1,295 So Kate 100 Calf Caligraf Red Sole Booties, $1,295 Naked Bow Red Sole Pumps, $745 Iriza Glitter Half d’Orsay Red Sole Pumps, $795 Jonatina Sandals, $995 Eloise Glitter Velvet Red Sole Booties, and $775 Graffiti So Kate Pumps:

His total Louboutin bill before taxes: $8,390

Let’s move on to handbags, shall we? Offset showed out, gifting Cardi two Chanel bags: a $6,100 Lambskin and Gold Tone Metal red Flap Bag with Top Handle and a $5,600 Classic Handbag (SN when did Chanel start selling online?):

Total Chanel Bill: $11,700

She then goes on to showcase some Hermes bags. Hermes famously never publicizes their prices, but Birkins generally start at $10,000 and exotic skins can cost $25,000 and up (the most expensive Hermes is around $350,000). Offset got Cardi 3 Birkins, one of which was an exotic skin, and a luggage sized bag as well. Looking at prices of used bags on The Real Real, I’d guesstimate that he spent around $50,000-$75,000 on bags:

Total Hermes Bill: $60,000 (approx)

He also gifted Cardi with some Cartier Juste un Clou Bracelets, dipped in diamonds, along with a few bejeweled bracelets. Her Juste un Clou bracelets with diamonds are listed at Cartier.com for $81,000 each:

Total Cartier Bill: $162,000
In sum, it looks as if Offset spent $242,090 on gifts for Cardi. Let’s round up and say $250,000.
What do you think of Offset’s Christmas gift buying fest?
**After 1 million views, Cardi deleted the video from her page, perhaps due to negative feedback. What do you think?
