Opening the week is Brandy from Baton Rouge. Brandy writes, “My style is classy, timeless and chic. I love putting pieces together and focusing on the details. I want to inspire others through my style to proudly wear what they want and to not be afraid of coming into their own unique style.”
Next was Jayria from Detroit. She writes, “My style is sometime classy and chic, other times it’s casual and sporty. I’m the girl who will show up to a picnic in a long sheer dress or the movies theater in heels. I believe dress codes are obsolete and should only be used as a personal tool to display ones style, mood or creativity.”
Closing the week, Carima from Maryland. Carima writes, “My style is influenced by a multitude of things. I like to dress according to however I feel, and which ever designer is inspiring me at the time. I love to feel sexy, yet polished so I loveee to wear blazers. I love blazers because they can be dressed up to look classy or turned into a cute flirty dress.I am also heavily influenced by retro designs. I like to look timeless but still fresh and modern. My style is a reflection of me and I always feel confident in whatever I choose to wear!

When it comes to Black creatives, it is no secret that they are overlooked when it comes to hiring and simple recognition in the fashion industry. For years, Black fashion professionals having been calling for a change and asking for their voices and work to be recognized.
Stylist CL White is taking a more straightforward call to action with his popular “HIRE BLACK” t-shirts! Based in LA, White is a Black celebrity stylist who has quite the roster of clients including Sukihana, Naomi Campbell, Letoya Luckett, Dominique A.R. Jackson, and many more. When he isn’t styling, he’s making sure his voice as a Black creative is heard.
Released back in 2019, the tees originally sported the phrase “Hire More” on the front followed by eight Black creative occupations on the back. After popular demand for the tee and its epic return, White delivered a revamped tee which features “HIRE BLACK” on the front followed by a slew of new occupations listed on the back. While the latest tee may be redesigned, the main purpose remains: Give Black creatives the credit they deserve.
On what inspired White to create the “HIRE BLACK” T-shirts, he expresses, “My inspiration to create the HIRE BLACK T-shirts came from the lack of Black creatives being hired for lead roles in their fields, when we have the experience and talent to back it up.“
He further adds, “With the the HIRE BLACK T-shirts, I hope Black creatives get what has been stolen from us for years. I want us to be recognized for our talents and not overlooked because of the color of our skin. What I want people to take away from this is that Black creatives deserve the spotlight for we are the innovators for a lot of the creativity on and behind the scenes.“
Cassie glowed in gold as she celebrated her birthday. She posted photos wearing a handmade gold chain single slit dress by Natalia Fedner. This ‘metal couture’ ensemble is a head turner and can be dressed up or down. Cassie rocked it with a bold red lip and wild natural hair.
The young singer also wore a silver halter top by Natalia Fedner as she posed with her husband. The material is similar to the dress shown above and was paired it with a see through flowy black skirt.
The show stopper was this fringe sleeved tiger print embellished dress by Hakan Akkaya that seems as if it were made just for her. The deep v cut neck line and double slits on the dress complimented her curves. The “cat eye” eyeliner along with the scenery of the photo shoot created a modern day “Jane of the Jungle” look. She completed the look with thick gold bangle bracelets worn on each arm.

Happy Thursday! Every Thursday, we highlight the style evolution of a celebrity whose looks has been known to capture the attention the industry. Today, we are the shining a spotlight on Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and her style evolution throughout the 2000s:
From the start in her career, Queen Bey has set the tone for her style with elegant, feminine and sexy looks with figure hugging silhouettes and luxury textures. Having worked with stylists like Ty Hunter, Zerina Akers and Marni Senofonte, along with wearing custom creations by her mom Tina Knowles-Lawson throughout her career, Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter has worn the biggest names in couture as well as lesser known designers.
Along the years, while not ditching her glamorous side, Beyoncé played with different styles and interpretations to her aesthetic.
From somewhere around early 2016, the new wave of Gucci-mania started and she is often credited as one of the main players in this trend.
In 2016, she released the groundbreaking Lemonade multi-visual experience. Among the many looks in the videos, the yellow Roberto Cavalli gown was for sure a statement many won’t forget.
In 2018, she gifted us with “Beychella” and along with the historical concert at the Coachella Festival came her charitable capsule collection with Balmain.
True to her style and fierceness, #Beyoncé consistently delivers looks that are glam and fashionable, while featuring her best assets.
The #LionKing premieres in 2019 in LA and London showed us two different sides to the queen’s wardrobe choices, proof that she still has a lot in store for us, fashion-wise.
Another big part of her style are street style, big names and rising brands mix to make the looks she posts on her social media after attending a basketball game or date night with #JayZ.

Today’s Fashion Bomb Kids feature goes to Hailey Dailey, a 6 year old alopecia princess. Her website says, “At the tender age of 4, Hailey’s hair slowly began to diminish,” but this mini Bombshell turned her condition into advocacy.
She released a line called HaileyDaileyCouture which stock Tees with motivational phrases, including this one picture below that says, “Little Brown Girl, Big Influencer”.
Her mother Karima Karima says, “Hailey Dailey was created to help people find the strength to overcome their insecurities. We believe that self love is a pre-requisite for true happiness.” We couldn’t agree more.
There are so many people, not just children who struggle daily with this condition, and to see this young girl not only radiate through it, but use it to help others is truly inspirational! Way to go Hailey!
