The music festival held its Opportunity Matters panel discussion yesterday moderated by Karen Civil and led by the biggest names in music including Pusha T, Lil Kim, and Rick Ross. For the panel, Lil Kim wore a stunning white look complete with soft glam makeup and we’ve got details on her ensemble:

Lil Kim wore an all white look which included a $415 Celine white logo t-shirt and the brand’s $1,300 Vertical Cabas in Triomphe Canvas and Calfskin with Celine Print Mini Tote. She complete the look with a pair of white distressed jeans, cutout design belt, and beige gold-toe mules. She opted for long bone straight tresses, executed by Jonathan Wright, with a soft glam makeup look by Olivia Song.

From Normani’s “Wild Side” video with Cardi B to the Cuban Link’s look for the 90s themed premiere event for Power Book III: Raising Kanan, we’ve rounded up the top looks of the week based on your engagements during this week’s celebrity style coverage. Out of the all the bomb looks Normani supplied for the “Wild Side” video, this one was a fan-fave! In this scene, Normani dances with a “twin” who is actually dancer Joya Jackson. Held on by the strength of adhesive spray, the two danced in custom embellished breast-plates and bottoms look which essentially served as a recreation of Debra Paget’s look from The Indian Tomb. Their looks were styled by Kollin Carter.

2. Cuban Link in Custom Gucci Look by Devon Milan: 21,001 likes

Cuban Link tapped into the gave us 90s it girl for the Power Book III: Raising Kanan 90s themed premiere event. She wore a custom Gucci look, created and styled by Devon Milan, including a cropped zip-up jacket, triangle bralette top, and mini skirt. She also finished the look with custom jewelry by Breanna Lee, McClam Accessories, Daily Dressings, Vanity Co, and The Essentials Brand.

3. Keyshia Ka’oir in Bottega Veneta: 17,826 likes

Keyshia Ka’oir attended the NBA Finals in support of the Milwaukee Bucks wearing a black jumpsuit accented by green Bottega Veneta accessories such as a $2,500 corset in parakeet and $1,790 “Flash” knee-high boots in black grass. She also carried a black crocodile Hermès handbag.

4. Adele in Vivienne Westwood: 16,297 likes

We received an Adele sighting this week as well! She was spotted at the NBA Finals game with her new rumored beau Rich Paul this week. Kimora Lee Simmons grabbed dinner at Catch LA with her daughters Ming and Aiko Lee Simmons. Kimora opted for a white sleeveless top paired with brown leather pants, accessorized with a $4,200 Dior saddlebag. Aiko Lee Simmons wore a $44 matte plisse rib oversized shirt and marble print cutout flare pants from her new collaborative collection with Boohoo. Designer Laquan Smith was spied in NYC grabbing lunch with Kim Kardashian and Lala at Milo’s, which left many to speculate that the trio was potentially discussing Met Gala looks.

For the lunch, Kim Kardashian wore a full look from Roberto Cavalli’s Spring 2011 collection which included a grey snake print button top and lace-up trousers. These particular pants by Roberto Cavalli have become somewhat of a go-to pair for Kim as she has been spotted in them on numerous occasions. She accessorized the look with a Hermès sterling silver Kelly bag.

Lala wore a $1,290 Fendi printed silk crepe de chine blouse (sold out) and $565 “Forever Fendi” Fabulous 2.0 sunglasses paired with zipper ankle contrast panel jeans. The lunch between the three fashion figures led many to wonder if they were discussing the upcoming Met Gala and looks for fashion’s biggest event. With the pandemic cancelling many events last year, it was announced that the annual Met Gala would go down this year in September rather than the first Monday of May. The theme? “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion” is the name of the exhibition with the dress code calling for all things highlighting American fashion and independence. The exhibition is to be curated by Andrew Bolton who plans to honor American fashion icons from then and now and LaQuan Smith was named amongst the mix of the exhibition’s key designers alongside Kerby Jean-Raymond, Ralph Lauren, and Oscar de la Renta.

Time to get back to in-person events here at Fashion Bomb Daily! Kicking off New York Fashion Week in September, Fashion Bomb Daily is proud to announce that we’re hosting The Bomb Fashion Show on Saturday, September 11th. As one of our first in-person events since the pandemic, let’s get just say: it’s more than a fashion show.

The Bomb Fashion Show is an all-day immersive event including two fashion shows, engaging panel discussions, networking opportunities, foods, drinks, & of course fashion fun! It all goes down on Saturday, September 11th at The Sixth Floor Loft in NYC located at 873 Broadway from 1PM to 10PM. The day time festivities will be from 1PM to 5PM including the emerging designer’s fashion show while the evening events will commence from 5PM to 10PM with the Fashion Bomb Daily Shop designers fashion show.

After all, we are a fashion platform highlighting all fashion from emerging talents to established haute couture houses. So, there is a dress code: Bet on Black! So, come in your best black attire ready for the runway and networking festivities.

Whether you’ve been handling a lot at work or at home, you may be burned out. A luxury vacation would be just what you need. To make sure you plan the best one, we’ve discussed several things you should consider. Let’s get to them. 

Have a Budget

Knowing the exact amount to spend would let you plan the vacation perfectly. Make a list of all the things you’ll need to spend on, like accommodation, entertainment, traveling, food and shopping. Talking with others who’ve visited the country would help narrow costs down. 

Length of Travel

Luxury vacations are all about destressing. There is no way you’ll be able to do this if you’re only gone for a couple of days. Your holiday should be a week minimum. 

Travel Destination 

There are 195 countries in the world. Choose a spot that is best for you and where you can wind down. The best choices would be anywhere that’s tropical. 

Travel sites like Lonely Planet are your best friend. They regularly compile lists on the most luxurious places you could visit. These sites discuss things you should be aware of before visiting too. 

Your Flight 

Fly on a jet instead of a commercial airplane. Private jet travel would make you feel like a movie star. You might think that it would cost an arm and a leg to book a private plane, but it’s thankfully not that expensive.  

An amazing option for book a flight on a private jet would be a carrier that provides taxi service to the airport. 

If you’re going to be flying on a commercial airplane, travel first-class. You might be lucky and have enough miles for a free first-class trip. 

Mode of Travel

Hire a private vehicle with a driver. The availability of a private vehicle means that you’ll be able to take side-trips and make stops whenever you want. 

Place to Stay

The place you’re staying in needs to be relaxing. All the amenities you need should also be provided. If you’re visiting a touristy destination, there’d be many 5-star hotels and resorts to stay at. 

Instead of staying in a hotel or resort, you could rent a property. Many luxury properties for rent come with in-house chefs, maids, and spas. 

Dress Up

How you dress would affect how you feel. Dress like a million bucks while on vacation to feel like a million bucks. Shop before you fly to get the most appropriate clothes. 

A luxury vacation may be exactly what you need. It would help you unwind from the stress you’ve been going through. You’ll need to be gone for a while to truly unwind. The minimum time you should be away for should be a week. As you can imagine, the visa you get would affect how long you’ll be able to go on holiday for. 

Make sure that you fly and travel the country in style too. Stay in a spot that would make you feel mentally and physically at peace.
