Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Step Out for Dinner in Style Donning Y/Project, Gucci x Adidas, and More Gucci!

When it comes to these two fashion killas, vintage is the name of their style game! This week in celebrity style sightings, A$AP Rocky and Rihanna were caught by paparazzi while leaving a New York City restaurant after grabbing dinner and we have all the style tea. For starters, Rihanna’s love for vintage prevails as she sported an original 1999 TLC “Fanmail” Chargers jersey sourced from Procell!

Her favorite vintage 1996 Gucci by Tom Ford bag also made a reappearance. We’ve spotted Rihanna at least once before wearing the bamboo handle snakeskin bag, and at this point it’s becoming her signature style staple of the season!

Not everyone can pull it off but when they do, we love to see a couple that shares clothes with the perfect finesse! Earlier this month, A$AP wore a similar if not the same pair of Gucci x Adidas clogs as Riri did while on their dinner date this week. Check out how he styled the $1,250 footwear below!

Ketchup or Makeup? Fenty Beauty’s Latest, and tastiest, Kit Collab

It’s not even Halloween and Rihanna’s playing a little trick r’ treat. For Fenty Beauty’s latest collab, the It’s not even Halloween and Rihanna’s playing a little trick r’ treat. For Fenty Beauty’s latest collab, the makeup brand we love teamed with OG tricksters MSCHF. The Brooklyn-based art collective is known for its prank-influenced creations like the now sold-out Scratch & Sniff Lotto Tickets where “you don’t know how much you’ll win or what it will smell like.” It’s a fun-loving brand with an eye for art as well as misbehavior, so collabing with the bad gal herself makes a lot of sense.

The Ketchup or Makeup beauty kit contains an assortment of six packets containing either ketchup or lipgloss. It’s a silly little beauty game that ends in a mess or a shimmery red Fenty Beauty gloss. Perhaps this is what she meant when she said Russian Roulette in 2009.

While all things Fenty are usually well received, commenters on the Fenty Beauty IG post have questioned the $25 price tag. From notes like “seems so wasteful” to “I could buy a gloss and a bottle of ketchup for that price and they would both close” and “$25 for ketchup?!”, it’s clear this is a collab that doesn’t appeal to everyone’s tastes or tastebuds.

However, for the ketchup stans and Rihanna fans, know that you can happily spend your $25 on the Ketchup or Makeup kit now.

The Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 Low Gets a FW22 Relaunch

When it comes to low-effort designer collabs, Nike and Supreme rise to the top. Back in 2020, the news of a Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 Low shook NYC until a first look revealed not much of the classic Air Force 1 Low had changed besides alternate Supreme branded laces and small red Supreme Box logos on the side heel.

It was surely giving something. Nothing new, fun, or innovative, but enough to wind up on StockX where all coveted sneakers go and enough for a 2022 re-release. Back like they never left, all three colorways of the Supreme x Nike Air Force Low 1 are reentering the chat for fall. Wave hello again to the Triple White, Triple Black, and Flax colorways set to drop on August 25th.

Both the Triple Black and White styles feature leather uppers, while the Flax iteration is a textured nubuck design. The same Supreme Box Logo branding remains on the side heel, and alternate tonal Supreme-clad laces are available for each colorway.

Dressing in Style, On a Budget: Here’s How?

Everyone loves to look good. But, sometimes, it can be hard to find the money to do so. Luckily, there are many ways to stay fashionable without breaking the bank. Of course, finding stylish clothes on a budget can be challenging, but you can always resort to “budget fashion,” which doesn’t have to be synonymous with an item’s low quality.

Whether trying to expand your wardrobe or keep up with the newest fashion trends, it may seem like your only option is to live on ramen for a month to save up for those dream boots. Unfortunately, fashion-friendly buying is not always possible in the age of inflation, so the best approach to looking rich without breaking the bank is to shop wisely.

Interestingly, there are many ways to shop for clothes on a budget without sacrificing style. One way is to look for sales or discounted items online and use them on your next purchase. Alternatively, you can go thrifting and end up saving money while continuing to enjoy your shopping spree.

Avoid Splurging on Trendy Items

When it comes to buying clothing, trends are never here to stay. They’re more like fleeting fads. Studies show that most people would buy new clothes five times a month, but about half of them lose the post-shopping “glow” after a while. And a large majority of those people develop doubts over if they really like their new purchase.

When we encounter something new, our brains release dopamine, a chemical that stimulates our desire to pursue rewards. This helps us avoid a new danger or enhance a new opportunity for pleasure. As soon as we attain our objective, however, our dopamine levels begin to decrease, causing us to seek out additional sources of excitement.

The same happens when you buy new clothes. But there’s no point in splurging on trendy clothes, especially when you can imitate the same feeling of buying new stuff by going for budget fashion.

Keep An Eye Out for Online Sales and Coupons

Planning your shopping carefully can help you buy new stuff without spending a lot of money. For instance, shopping from discount stores is a great idea. Big box discount stores may not qualify as “clothing stores,” but that doesn’t mean you can’t find great essentials such as hoodies, T-shirts, and sweats there.

Similarly, you can try fast-fashion stores. Sometimes, they offer inexpensive clothing items for a short period, which you can take advantage of. These retailers offer office attire, such as blazers, and weekend attire, such as party dresses and cropped T-shirts, at reasonable prices. Invest in some high-quality basics to combat the short-term advantages of shopping fast fashion.

And finally, you can shop online and look for stores offering products at a sale price. It’s possible to find sites that show a full list of stores offering discounted deals. You can even set alerts and receive notifications about upcoming sales. Searching Google for discount codes/coupons may also help you slash prices while making a new purchase.

Invest in Wardrobe Basics

When there are so many new arrivals to select from, it’s tough to find a timeless investment piece that you can wear season after season without worrying about it becoming antiquated. You can always buy classic, simple items which may not cost much; even if they do, they will serve you well for years to come.

One such piece is the trench coat, which is smart and laid-back, demure yet revealing, businesslike, and party-ready at the same time. In every way, the trench coat is perfect. Similarly, you might want to have a white tee in your collection. It’s a cliche, but it bears repeating: every lady needs a good, basic white t-shirt. This one is undeniably the simplest and most modern compared to other classics. Yet, it’s timeless because of its adaptability.

Other than these, you can also go for a charming black dress, a pair of jeans, and a fine blazer. And, of course, don’t forget a pair of black heels – Black, sultry, timeless, and a definite plus for women. Remember, having a core wardrobe will help you avoid having a closet full of clothes you never wear and will allow you to create endless outfit combinations.

Create a Capsule Wardrobe

It’s basically about buying “classic” clothing items and creating a wardrobe with a collection of selected essential items that never go out of fashion. Many minimalists insist that a year-round capsule wardrobe should only contain between 30 and 50 items, but there are always exceptions to this rule.

To create a capsule wardrobe, you should first analyze your lifestyle. Which closet basics do you always reach for? Do you actually wear them, or do they sit in your closet for months at a time? For instance, you may have a closet full of high heels and athletic shoes but only one pair of your favorite loafers.

Then, you have to identify items you can easily wear for the next month or so. Make a list, and then it’s time to clean out your closet. Gather your favorite clothes and the ones that make you feel good. Also, consider creating a color palette at this time to guide your future shopping.

Go Thrifting

Another fantastic approach for purchasing fashionable items on a budget is to purchase pre-owned products and be a savvy thrift shopper. These stores are filled with one-of-a-kind items that can help you create your personal style without draining your bank account.

Some individuals love thrifting because it allows them to save money, while others do so because it is a more sustainable alternative to fast fashion. By purchasing secondhand clothing and home products, you can reduce your financial and environmental impact as well as boost your chances of uncovering a one-of-a-kind treasure.

Take Care of Your Clothes

It’s obvious, isn’t it? If you take good care of your clothes, they’re obviously going to serve you well for many years to come. Not to mention, maintaining your existing clothing will allow you to save money for more essential purchases.

For starters, limit the number of times you wash your clothes to maximize their durability. When possible, wash goods in cold water on a gentle cycle and air dry them. Learn how to remove stains efficiently and perform minor repairs.

To preserve your footwear’s quality, polish and condition them at home. If your pricey footwear begins to deteriorate, have it repaired. Having your shoes resoled is often much less expensive than purchasing a brand-new pair.

Many style icons out there will say you can’t look trendy without spending top dollar on new items every week. Well, you don’t have to fall pretty to that notion and embrace the concept of “budget fashion” to save money by buying timeless items, maintaining your existing wardrobe, and utilizing sales and discount codes. Keep in mind that depending on how they are managed, sales may be both a boon and a trap for budget shoppers. When an item is on sale, it’s tempting to purchase it even if you do not need it. So, don’t be hasty and think twice before you take the plunge.

Why the Fashion World Needs To Adopt Hemp Clothes

Hemp clothes are becoming increasingly popular. Hemp is a natural fiber that is both durable and breathable, making it an ideal material for clothes. In addition, hemp is naturally resistant to mold and mildew, making it an ideal choice for those who live in humid climates. Hemp clothes are also environmentally friendly, as they can be made from sustainable sources and do not require the use of harsh chemicals. As cannabis smoking devices continue to rise in popularity, so will the demand for hemp clothes. And as the world becomes more and more environmentally conscious, the fashion industry must follow suit. One way to do this is by using hemp fabrics in our clothes, and this article will help you understand why.

What Is Hemp?

If you have just started learning about hemp clothing, a good place to start is by understanding exactly what hemp is. Hemp, which comes from the hemp plant, is one of the fastest growing plants on Earth and is used for a wide range of applications, both medicinal and industrial.

In terms of clothing, hemp can be used as a fiber to create clothing and is similar to linen in texture. During the Second World War, hemp was legalized to be used for the production of army-related accessories such as uniforms, ropes, and parachutes.

It Is a Strong Material

As mentioned above, hemp was legalized during the Second World War to produce equipment for the army, and as such, should give you an idea of just how strong and reliable this material is. This is one of the main reasons why the fashion world should start making use of hemp to create clothing. To be more precise, hemp is stronger than Kevlar, which is used for the production of bulletproof vests. More than that, it is fire and water-resistant, as well as resistant to mildew, light, and mold.

Grows Much Faster

Another reason why the fashion industry should begin using hemp to create clothes is that it grows much faster than other fibers. More importantly, the plant grows well in many different environments and conditions, which means that temperature control isn’t a cost, and it would be available in abundance, reducing demand costs. Hemp plants typically mature between 3 to 4 months.

Less Water and Damage to Soil

In terms of being environmentally friendly, hemp is one of the most environmentally friendly plants and uses much less water to grow. As such, the use of massive irrigation facilities is not necessary. This means that by producing hemp, the fashion industry will be saving countless amounts of water. More importantly, it does far less damage to soil than other fibers. For example, hemp will produce three times more than cotton, while requiring half the amount of land.

It’s Versatile

Many have concerns about the impact hemp will have when used along with other fabrics, such as bamboo, cotton, or silk. As it turns out, hemp is incredibly versatile and will blend very well with other fabrics. More than this, not only will it retain its unique properties, but it also won’t take away from the properties of other materials.

Chemical Free

In today’s day and age, many people are moving towards more environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions. Another big reason that the fashion industry should begin using hemp is that it is chemical free. This is because it doesn’t require herbicides or pesticides during the cultivation stage. More importantly, it is UV resistant, which means that it will protect the skin from harmful UV rays.

Good for the Skin

As mentioned above, hemp is UV resistant, which means that you can protect your skin from harmful UV rays when wearing it. More than this, since it is completely organic, you won’t have to suffer from any skin irritations, and it is safe to be worn by babies. In other words, this fabric is not known to cause allergic reactions, and your skin will thank you for wearing it.

Costs Less to Grow

Finally, as you may have realized by reading the benefits hemp can provide for the fashion industry above, it costs much less to grow than other fabrics. For example, herbicides and pesticides aren’t necessary to be bought, massive irrigation systems aren’t used, it doesn’t require a lot of space, and it has very few growth requirements.
