After a few fits and starts, Topshop, the UK retailer beloved by fashionistas the world over, made its bow in NYC yesterday, April 2.
The New York Topshop is located in SoHo on Broadway and Broome Street, and shoppers lined up at the crack of dawn to be among the first to drop their dollars for the quality trend pieces the iconic British brand is known for.
The photos aren’t as close as they could be but what do you guys think about some of the wares?
Hmm. Maybe it’s just the pics but it’s not looking so different from H&M to me. I’m looking forward to visiting it myself this weekend, though, and will report back!
Speaking of H&M, Matthew Williamson’s capsule collection drops on April 23rd, and you know The Fashion Bomb will be there! Take a look at some of the forthcoming pieces on Rackedhere and here.
bon weekend,
Adriana
They’re part flip flop, part bootie and apparently very comfortable!
They’re made with a soft stretch, breathable fabric that hug the contours of your foot, with the casual look of a flip flop and the aesthetic of a designer shoe. They are a step up from a flip flop with a luxurious leather sole liner and unique tops. The soft straps ensure Topsies won’t slide off your foot, and variety of colors means endless style!

The 3.5 inch heels will instantly upgrade anything from a club dress to jeans and a tee. Pop these on with a skirt or trendy harem pants for a stylish look.
Whether you’re looking for just a pop of sparkle or a full-on, eye-catching shimmer, sequins are bold accents that never go out of style!
Add a little edge to any ensemble with a sequined capelet, headband, or tam. Feeling feisty and in the mood to take a style risk? Dare to go for a more substantial piece, like a bolero, t-shirt dress, or shell.
Kelly’s recording career may be over, but the former Destiny’s Child has landed on her feet as a judge and co-host of Bravo’s new Reality Program The Fashion Show:
She, along with Isaac Mizrahi and Fern Mallis of IMG will judge 15 competitors as they cut, sew, and backstab their way to a $125,000 prize and a chance to sell their clothes at retail stores.
Hmmm…sounds like a recast Project Runway. And the judges for Proj Run made sense. Heidi Klum: Fashion Model. Tim Gunn: Professor at Parsons. Nina Garcia: Elle (now Marie Claire) Magazine. Michael Kors: Iconic American Fashion Designer.
Isaac and Fern make sense but what in the world does Kelly have to do with fashion? She’s stylish enough, but hmm…will have to see about this one!
Stunning Eva the Diva graced the read carpet of the Brave New Voices TV Premiere in a cute cropped jacket, wide legged jeans, and a bright yellow tote:
