Our Snapshot subject from today inspired me to post this video:

This song stayed on my ipod rotation in 2007! The melody is chill, and the sweet message seals the deal.
And I must admit…it’s nice to see a little Trey Songz eye candy;)
Enjoy!

Hey!
So one of my tweoples (twitter people) recently put me on to The Sugar Mafia, a sexy and naughty Atlanta based t-shirt brand:

Their Fall 2009 Collection, called “Raw Sugar” features t-shirts with explicit messages like “Hood B*tch,” “Boss”, and “Hater.” The tee’s are perfect for a sassy bad gyal:

Compared to last weekend’s crush of celeb events, things were a bit more low-key this week with, er, one glaring exception that we saved for last, as we always do for the best!

All hailed Queen Latifah at her “Good Morning America” performance on Friday. The rap royalty diva kept it crisp in all white with a shirred neck, one-shoulder, long-sleeved tee and white jeans. Diamond hoops, a clear Lucite cuff, and mirrored aviators round out the outfit, but something about the ‘fit’s baggy fit has me Hmm’in it a little…

We’ve gone a few weekend round-ups without featuring FB favorite Kim K. but this gorgeous, body-hugging black mini-dress with full sleeves and scalloped neck embellishment she wore to the Aces and Angels Celebrity Poker event calls for notice, mais non? Black Louboutin platform pumps, a lush tumble of curls, and doe-eyed makeup provide a simple yet sexy canvas for the standout dress. Can we say “Danger: Curves Ahead“? Get ‘im then, Kim…

FB newcomer and “Entourage” star Jamie-Lynn Sigler kills the arrivals carpet at the Sixth Season Premiere of the show. Jamie-Lynn, who’s of Cuban descent, rocks out in a strapless bronze and black tiger-striped number with sweetheart neckline. Her diamond bracelet, sparkly black clutch, and platform pumps accompany summer’s must-have accessory: glowing golden skin. Fab look for the former “Sopranos” gal!

The ever-lovely Thandie Newton opted, fittingly, for an artsy look at London’s Serpentine Gallery Summer Party. Her watercolor print frock, abstract nude sandals, and graphic clutch make for quite the pretty picture. A ruby red pop of lip color and side-swept hair complete the ensemble perfectly. Monsieur Monet would be proud–quelle hawte!

Finally, Bruno says “Vassup?!” at his taping of The Late Show on Friday, waxed to within an inch of his life. This is “Sound of Music” + Village People game done proper. Two snaps, a twist, and a “YMCA”/”Do-Re-Mi” mash-up for fashion’s cheeky global ambassador. Unh, unh, uh…
Is anyone else going to check out the movie? I wasn’t a “Borat” fan but this hot disaster I might just have to see…

So I was at a house party this weekend, and popped on my Ipod for a bit of MJ love. Everyone was feeling the groove until this one Debby Downer said, “I’m so tired of Michael Jackson…Isn’t it overkill? I mean it’s been nothing but Michael Jackson for two weeks.” For some reason I felt offended and wanted to tell her off, but instead I turned around and turned up the PYT.
If you, too, are still rocking for MJ, check out these new T’s by designer Kobe Saki:

Well designed and comfortable, the t’s offer a fashionable edge that will allow you to continue your praise fest for the Late King of Pop. I mean, can we put a time limit on tributes?

Stuff Fly People Like has this shot of Style File Subject Janelle Monae, who recently graced the cover of Paper Magazine:

I am absolutely loving her makeup! It’s simple yet searing.
Maybe Eileen can give us a few tips on how to achieve this look?
