According to Blog Crazy Sexy Techie Cool, Italian Vogue is following up last summer’s All Black Issue with a special issue featuring all black Barbies:

Franca Sozzani, Editor-in-Chief of Italian Vogue explains, “Barbie has been an icon for whole generations which is why I really wanted to give a strong sign in step with the times, and dedicate [this] issue to Black Barbie.” The special issue includes artistic photography and fashion, in addition to adorable Barbie Dolls.

Also, this year Barbie will be releasing dolls with more afrocentric features. I’m all for it!
If I can score a copy of the issue, I’ll scan a few more pix for ya!
Rihanna seems to have taken the route of Cassie and Lala, shaving her already short cut even more:

She debuted her new shaved sides recently on an outing in NYC’s West Village.
I was personally over this style when Lala did it, so Rihanna’s new venture doesn’t really move me.
What about you?

Happy Friday!
As always we have lots of Mail Bombs to solve…Let’s go!
First reader Dinah was on the YBF and fell in love with the stylish Amber Rose’s ripped jeans, off the shoulder gray top, and lace up sandals:

She says, “Can you help me get her look?“
Look like Amber for less with these under $100 items:
Next, Edonna says, “I love the sandals Kim is wearing:”

“Can you help me out? Or find something similar?”
Thanks to quite a few Fashion Bombers, we found Kim’s wearing these Givenchy Cut Out Jelly Sandals…

Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to find them for purchase online. Until we do, get a similar look with these Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti Strappy Flat Sandals:

…They’re $247 at www.shopbop.com.
Gabrielle was feeling Keri Hilson’s colorful ‘out on the town’ look:

She says, “Where can I find Keri’s pants? Or something like them…. they are so cute!”
Get a similar look with these 100% Yellow Silk Pants by New York Industrie:

They’re $95 at www.yoox.com.
Stacey says, “I wanted to know if you could find out what kind of brown bag Eva Marcille was rocking with the fringe?“

“Its mad cute! I know it’s not in my budget but if you could also help me find a similar piece it would be great! Thanx!“
We couldn’t find her exact bag, but you can achieve a similar fringed look with these selections:
Lastly, Ka’Lan says, “Can you help me find a pair of patent leather black open toed flats? I’ve seen a few other women wearing these shoes, and I can’t find them anywhere! I really hope you can find me a pair, I’ve been looking for them forever.“
Sure thing! Here you go:

…Sisi from New Jersey!
After looking at all the comments (and controlling for duplicate and repeat votes) Sisi came out on top!
Many thanks to the ever fashionable Kim, Vanessa, and Jay for your submissions.
You are all fabulous!
Besides, it’s all in fun;)
Stay tuned next week for even more Fashion Bombshells!
With big name celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, and Tyra wearing RM by Roland Mouret’s square neck dress, it wouldn’t be long before its splitting image came knocking:

British brand ASOS took the honors with their Seamed Pencil Dress. The pleating around the neck and bust are almost spot on.
The only differences lie in the detail around the waist and the length, with Asos’ being shorter. And despite Asos’ being hundreds of dollars less, at $65, the construction is pretty good, and you’ll get a lot of bang for your buck.
Will you invest?

Fashion Bomb friend Jose Duran recently showed his stunning Spring/Summer 2010 Menswear Collection here in Paris:

Taking inspiration from African hunters and soldiers, the line used desert tones like khaki, white, and black:

Though the collection is fiercely masculine, I could see myself wearing any of the reinforced shoulder jackets, harem pants, or embellished shirts:

I absolutely love it.
See more of Jose’s work at www.joseduran.net and read up about him in this vintage Fashion Bomb Post.
Bisous!
