Fashion Bomb Kids: The Kardashian Kids Dressed Up as Hip-Hop Culture Icons Aaliyah, Snoop Dogg, Eazy E and Sade for Halloween

The Kardashians are known for going all out when it comes to their Halloween costumes. On Friday, Kim shared some precious photos of her four kiddos each paying homage to different black artists in throughout the hip-hop sphere! The Instagram post captioned “THE ICONS – AALIYAH, SADE, SNOOP, EAZY E”. See who wore what below!

North West channeled her inner Aaliyah in this memorable full Tommy Hilfiger moment.

Saint West brought back Snoop Dogg’s emblematic 90’s style, from his braided hair down to his flannel shirt and Chuck Taylors.

Chicago West recreated the instantly recognizable denim shirt, jeans, gold jewelry and braided ponytail look made popular by Sade.

There is no mistaking that Psalm West’s ‘Straight Out of Compton’ outfit was a tribute to Eazy E!

We see some natural born models here! We may not be spooked, but we sure are gagging at this iconic looks! Knowing the Kardashians, this is just the beginning of their festive costume fun. More to come in celebrity Halloween style!

Fashion Bomber of the Week: Radley Glaude from Brooklyn, NY

Hey Bombers! This week’s Bomber of the Week hails from the big BK! Radley Glaude, also known as Rad the Don, is a stylist and menswear influencer with a passion for well-tailored looks.

Radley’s wardrobe is filled with sleek suits and color so saturated you’d think he invented dopamine dressing. Though he tends to embrace all bright and bold hues, one look at his IG page will tell you that he may favor purples, oranges, and reds above all other colors. You’ll rarely see this fashion figure without a hat. While wide-brim fedoras are his go-to, Radley does dabble in baseball cap territory for his sportier looks.

Texture play is also something Radley is familiar with: lush leathers, soft velvets, and chunky knits take up a portion of his well-curated closet which is another sign of his risk-taking approach to fashion.

It’s no secret Radley knows how to make a statement. Whether he’s stuntin’ on an NYC subway or promoting A Few Wood Men (a brand he represents), you can be sure he does so in style.

If you, or someone you know, are interested in being our Bomber Of The Week, please DM @fashionbombmen (on Instagram) a brief description of your personal style (plus name and city) and 5-10 different pictures of your best outfits.

Letitia Wright and Ryan Coogler Honor Chadwick Boseman at the Wakanda Forever Premiere

It’s been two years since we lost Chadwick Boseman, but he hasn’t left our minds or hearts. In his two-decade career he made his mark in movies and television, scooping up coveted awards (two SAGs, a Golden Globe, a Critic’s Choice Movie award and a Primetime Emmy, to name a few). Still, no sentimental statue could ever measure up to his work on bringing the Black Panther to life.

Before his passing, Boseman made major cultural impact playing the Black Panther, a movie credited as one of the best films of 2018 and the first superhero film nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.

With the incoming release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, it’s clear that family, friends and fans are feeling the lose more than usual, but despite his absence, his presence was still felt at the L.A premiere.

Letitia Wright, who acted alongside Boseman as King T’Challa’s tech genius sister Shuri, arrived to the premiere in an Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2023 suit. The dazzling ensemble features a tailored jacket with satin notch lapels, a cutaway waist and back finished with crystal harness embroidery.

You may have noticed the crystal harness jacket coupled with a single pleat bootcut trouser over McQueen’s Punk Chelsea Boot looks familiar. There’s a good chance you’re mind is being triggered to recall the Givenchy Spring 2018 Couture look Boseman wore to the 90th Academy Awards in 2018.

While no word has been released from Letitia Wright or her stylist Shiona Turni on whether Boseman’s 2018 ensemble inspired this look, we’re willing to bet this was no happenstance. Sometimes the universe works in sentimentally styilish ways.

However, we do know director Ryan Coogler also brought a little Chadwick with him to the premiere. Wearing a white on white satin ensemble, Coogler accessorized with a gold and onyx dog tag necklace imprinted with a photo of Chadwick.

While we eagerly await the release of Wakanda Forever, we can rest assured that Chadwick Boseman’s legacy continues to build and stays top of mind.

RIP Chadwick. Wakanda forever.

Claire’s Life: Mentoring Like an All Star at the Misa Hylton Fashion Academy + Apply To the Program Today!

Happy Wednesday, Bombers and Bombshells!

Can you believe it’s taken me two days to recover from my All Star weekend mentoring students from the Misa Hylton Fashion Academy?

Yes! The intense series offers college students the chance to learn and get invaluable advice from fashion industry insiders, include CFDA President Casandra Diggs, Chief Impact Officer of Kith and CEO of Liberty Fairs, Sharifa Murdock, Celebrity Stylist Wouri Vice, CEO of Native Son and Legendary Journalist Emil Wilbekin, and Yours Truly! The whole program is helmed by the incomparable Misa Hylton, an iconic stylist and style architect who basically created the 90’s hip hop style aesthetic through her groundbreaking work with Bad Boy artists like Lil Kim and Mary J. Blige.

It’s so easy for us to get caught up in our own personal Bomb Lives, so much so that we don’t carve out time to give back. I am grateful to Misa for creating this space for fashion industry hopefuls to learn from insiders; and also a space for insiders to offer some of their expertise. There is another generation of amazing creatives on the come up, and I was glad to witness some of them this weekend, particularly my team of mentees,  @nayamiyamz@theblaqmagazine @lewksbyazzievand @itselijahofficial.

Follow them and show them lots of love as they explore fashion photography, marketing, styling, and editorial!

For the occasion, I wore a look by Belle Business Wear:
