Though I’ve seen a load of over-the-knee boots this season, I have to admit that this has to be one of the fiercest boots I’ve seen in quite a while. The unmistakable red sole and the bunched up leather give these Louboutin’s that distinctive tough chicness synonymous with the brand.
Hopefully, Santa pulls through this Christmas for you Bombshells that must have a pair. These babies will run you $2,185. Check em out here.
The day has finally come! Jimmy Choo will be unleashing its singular fabulousness on H&M shoppers tomorrow, November 14th:
Prepare to line up and fight for a chic pair of sandals with your fellow fashionistas.
Check out this vintage post to review all the wonderful shoes, jewelry, accessories, and clothes for men & women that will be available.
I’m kinda *over* throwing bows at these shenanigans, but my friend is super excited so I’ll most likely pop in. Will you?
According to the Daily News, Andre Leon Talley and Kimora Lee will be joining the illustrious panel of judges on America’s Next Top Model:
Though Kimora is a veteran (serving on the board for Season 1) ALT will bring his fresh Vogue certified views to the program for the first time.
I’ll be honest, I’ve gone from planning my whole workout/evening schedule around seeing an episode of ANTM to not watching it *at all.* Knowing that the ‘Top Model’ on the show will probably not be a ‘Top Model’ in real life kind of diluted the experience for me. I’ve gone from “Who’s gonna win?” to “Who cares?“
BUT the prospect of seeing the turbans, glitter, and glamour of an ALT+ KLS collabo might make me tune back in.
What about you?
Hey!
Today we have a little California love from bomb reader Eden who nominated her sister Mitu for Fashion Bombshell of the Day:
She says, “My sister has recently really stepped her fashion game up. I introduced her to your site a while ago and I see she has been taking notes!”
” Just wanted to let her know how gorgeous she is inside and that now her outside has finally caught up!“
” P.S It’s her 25th Birthday next week. Happy Birthday lil’ sister!” Happy Early Birthday Mitu!!
You are absolutely gorgeous and your style is on point!
What do you guys think of our Bay Area Bombshell?

Hey Bombshells!
New York correspondent Kisha hit up the launch of Ms. J’s new book “Follow the Model.”
Here’s her report!
Enjoy!
********************************************************************************* Have you ever met someone and felt instantly attracted to them? Someone whose energy was so warm and inviting you found yourself wanting to be their best friend?? Well J. Alexander, famously known as “Miss J” is not one of these people. We all know him as one of the judges on America’s Next Top Model, but he is also a runway coach and divo who has recently added author to his repertoire. He is bold, audacious, and brutally honest. He cuts you with a look your mother would give you if you were acting up in church. His words are curt and can seem harsh, but there is no malice behind them. In fact he really wants to help women. In his book “Follow The Model” Miss J shares his advice for living a confident, happy and fabulous life.
Miss J showed up to his book launch and signing in an unexpectedly casual ensemble. Though we’re used to seeing him with big hair, puffed sleeve jackets, and full makeup, his hair was pulled back into a chignon and he replaced his trademark ruffles and colors with a simple black suit. As audience members wondered if his over-the-top TV persona was just for show, he quickly dispelled our thoughts as he began to speak. As he gesticulated dramatically, lips popping and eyes rolling, he described memories of his childhood, saying, “I’m honest about who I am. This is just me. I don’t compete with anybody. I compete with myself.“
In “Follow the Model,” expect to read about how Jay fell in love with fashion and made it from the South Bronx to Paris, France. Also expect to read about how he met Tyra Banks, whom he first encountered at a Parisian fashion show. Did you know it was actually Tyra’s mom who asked him to appear on America’s Next Top Model?
Of course the Fashion Bomb had to ask him a few questions!
When we asked what he thought of Tyra putting models in “black face” he shrugged it off. He said,“It’s just fashion. I don’t see what the big deal is. Instead of painting white models in black face, we should put black makeup on black models. Let’s make them blacker!”
When asked what advice he has for women who want to be fabulous, he had a lot to say:
“Love Yourself”
“Don’t be afraid to experiment” “If you’re not in shape you should not wear satin, ice blue, canary yellow or bus stop red.”
“Feel comfortable with what you are wearing. Wear your size!”
“Everybody can’t wear everything!” “Fashion is forever Trends are not.”
And with that, I sashayed out with book in hand. There is sure to be some comedy in the book, but I have a feeling that “Follow The Model” will confirm what all Bombshells already know: Confidence never goes out of style and there’s nothing more fabulous than being true to who you are.
Follow The Model is available at Barnes & Noble or purchase here:

Great job Kisha!
I’ve met Ms. J before, and though he’s not exactly warm and cuddly, you do get the sense that he 100% knows what he’s talking about! The first time I met him I learned that he was fluent in several languages, including Japanese. He’s indisputably fierce!!
I’d be interested to buy his book!
Are you?
Smootches!

So Vintage Fab is slowly become a family affair where Bombshells are submitting pictures of multiple fly family members! Today Erica blesses us with pix of her grandmother:
Mother:
And Father:
She says, “They were so big on style then and still are today! My grandmother is of course the fashion maven of our family. My mom used to do fashion shows back in the day and my father said he was clearly the man back in the day…the plaid pants say it all!”
Soooo cute!
Keep ’em coming guys, I love it!
What do you think?
I know all you Fashion Bombshells out there have been praying to the sartorial gods for something amazing, and your prayers have finally been answered!
We recently learned about RentTheRunway.com, a new site dedicated to renting you designer dresses at very recession friendly prices.
Rent the Runway carries frocks and cocktails by brands like Diane von Furstenberg, Giambattista Valli, Helmut Lang, Catherine Malandrino, and more:
They even have the Robert Rodriguez dress Kandi wore on the Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Special!
Prices start at $50 and go up to $250. There’s same day delivery for those in New York, and 2-3 day delivery everywhere else. There’s definitely no excuse for you not to look beat this holiday season. All you have to do is sign up, and start renting!
Having spent so much time giving you guys styling tips and weekly “Rip The Runways”, it dawned on me that you haven’t gotten to see much of “me.” So here’s a peek at a little of my so-called life. This past weekend, some friends and I got together to celebrate our friend Ralpha’s birthday.
She channeled her inner grown and sexy, wearing a red hot number paired with the season’s must have lip color.
And my blazer, believe it or not, was purchased when I was 11 years old. And Friday night was the first time I wore it. And I didn’t even have to get it altered. That just goes to show you that you should rummage through your things periodically to save things that could be brought back to life.
