Fashion Bombshell Major Mocha of www.therestaurantdivas.com recently sent in this picture of her sequined birthday dress:
She says, “On Saturday I had a Bday dinner at a Moroccan restaurant in Brooklyn, New York. I wore a sequin dress that was a little lady Gaga/ Beyonce style. On my feet were a great pair of Louboutin’s.” Super cute Mocha! Your whole outfit is very befitting of a Bombshell, down to your hot Louboutins!

Hey Guys!
Today we have a Bomb submission from Ty, a fashionista from Dallas, Texas:
She says, “I would probably describe my style as classy, simple, and perfectly polished. I’m definitely not afraid of bright colors in my wardrobe; in fact, I embrace them. In the picture above, I really like the contrast of this vivid yellow skirt against the dark navy top and brown accessories.”
” I absolutely love short shorts, but to avoid showing too much skin, I try to balance my bare legs with a long-sleeve or 3/4-sleeve top. And if it isn’t obvious from the picture above, I have a love affair with sky-high stilettos.”
“I love pairing neutrals like this light gray dress with vibrant colors like these bright red pumps. I think the pop of color adds a little “oomph” to the outfit. “
“Most days, the scorching summer heat in Texas makes it hard to want to put much effort into dressing up. That’s when the simple sundress comes into play. I can throw one on, toss on a few accessories, and be out the door. “
“Until recently, I never really realized how much I like olive green. It seems like such a drab color, but it can be paired with so many other colors for an outfit that’s polished and put-together. I refer to my outfit above as ‘Safari Chic.’ “
Wow, Ty, you are working it! I’m a prep at heart, so love, love, love your first outfit mixing the navy blue button down and yellow skirt (and the clutch?!? dead). I love all your other outfits as well. You have amazing style.

So if you’re a Fashion Bomb vet, you’d know that I’ve had my run ins with rocking knockoffs. When my family took a trip to China in 2006, I copped a fake Burberry scarf that led to a queen calling me out…it was embarrassing enough for me to swear off knockoffs for good!
For that reason, I hmmm very hard when I spy a knockoff anywhere, especially outside of Chinatown stalls.
If you can’t, then you may be able to justify buying the lower priced version. I mean, you can definitely get the look for a lot less.
But typically with a $46 shoe, you get what you pay for: a slanted, easily breakable stiletto heel, fake leather, and studs that will pop off with even the slightest turn.
Is it even worth it? And can you handle the fear of being spotted with a *gasp* fake?
Hey Guys!
Today we’re wishing a Happy Belated Birthday to Linzi, a New Orleans native currently attending Howard University in Washington D.C.
Linzi was actually nominated by her friends Crystal and Ayanna who say, “We’ve known Linzi for years and she has always had a great eye for fashion.”
” We would describe her style as a great mix of edgy and classy.”
“… She is a beautiful person inside and out. Her birthday is May 31st, and we believe that this would be a great birthday present for her.”
Happy Belated Linzi! I hope you celebrated in style.

:Faithful Fashion Bomb reader Jordan says, “I’m going to be getting a new BlackBerry (or Crackberry, as some deem it) next month. I was wondering if there were some designer skins/cases for BlackBerry phones (specifically the Curve 8530). My friend has a DVF iPhone case, and I would love if there was something similar for the BlackBerry.”
Hey Jordan! Everyone from Louis Vuitton to Pierre Hardy to Hermès carries Iphone cases that can also be used to upgrade your Crackberry.
