Hey Hey!
It’s time for Bombshell of the Day! Take a look at Bintu from Philly:
She writes, “I would describe my style as Afro 70’s soul Vixen meets pin-up girl. “
“As crazy as it sounds!”
“My family is of West African descent and often times I incorporate that into my style.”
” I’ve been infatuated with the women of the 70’s and pin-up era for as long as I can remember.”
” Women in the 70’s were classy but sexy and edgy…”
“… and pin-up girls just want to have fun!!!”
” I enjoy the polka dots and high waisted anything from that era.”
“[I have a] talk show [that] airs on Comcast in Philly right now and online. I hope that you are able to tune in
(www.youtube.com/buzzklub)!!!!!”
I’ll check you on out! I definitely see the 70’s influences. And that picture of you in the African print dress is all kinds of fierce, honey.

It’s a bit of a slow style day (and I’m cooking up quite a Style Inspiration), so decided to give you today’s Bombshell, Jennifer from Dallas, a little early:
She writes, “I am the creator of BLANK WHITE FRAMES (www.blankwhiteframes.blogspot.com), a lifestyle blog that focuses primarily on fashion.”
“My style is pretty classic, but I love to mix prints, and if I can I will add leopard to any outfit :).”
“I never leave home without at least a watch and a pair of earrings to accessorize.”
“”I pride myself on knowing what styles work best with my figure…”
“… so I try to stick only with those trends that are flattering on me.”
“I am a firm believer that if you can only splurge on one item in your wardrobe it should be a great pair of shoes.”
Totally on board with your shoe philosophy! Very cute dress selection. I love how you mix colors and prints.

Today we’re going to mix it up and have a Bomber and a Bombshell! Our lucky guy is Jonathan from Miami, Florida:
He writes, “My style is urban…”
“… but classic…”
“… and sophisticated.”
“[I’m] always fashion forward.”
” It would be cool if I was considered fashion bomber for a day :)”
Well, there you go! I like your American flag tank top/gold chain look. Is that the Urban Outfitters Americana Tank we blogged about here? At any rate, if you like Jonathan’s swag, follow him on Instagram @itsmeebitchess.

” with pops of wow factor to keep me on my toes with the ever changing trends.”
“.. I love magnificent eye catching colors and always try to incorporate [them into] my style.”
” I can get weak for vintage and thrift pieces that make a statement so you will always see me wearing unusual finds.”
“… Fashion makes me feel good all the time and I love being able to express that.”
Lovely! Great smile! I love a lot of your outfits, but my favorites include your tie dye jeans, belted blazer, and your last denim look. See more of her ensembles at www.TheStyleClimber.com.

Today’s a Texas kind of day. Take at look at Yolanda from the Lone Star state:
She kept her description short and sweet.
She says, “I really don’t have a specific look I stick with.”
“I wear whatever looks good on me…”
“… and makes me feel comfortable.”
“For the record, my mom designs some of my clothes….”
“… like the black and yellow we have here.”
Love the black and yellow!

Happy Monday!
So every month, style maven and Queen of Effortless Chic Daisy Lewellyn gathers her fabulous friends for a Brooklyn themed brunch. Tastemakers from various industries come together to eat yummy foods, indulge in bottomless mimosas, and partake in titillating conversation.
Yesterday marked the 6 month anniversary of the Brooklyn Brunch Series, so of course I brought The Fashion Bomb’s photographer, Marta McAdams, to capture a bit of the beauty in the room.
Check out the Real Style:
Kimera, Gionvanni, and Shantel bet on black and white frocks, uplifted by statement accessories and bold lips.
Darnell, Saquan, and Hanif kept it cool and casual in denim, sneakers, and v-neck tees.
I loved Sharifa’s red and black printed dress and Chanel bag.
Curtis and Isoul of Uptown Magazine looked positively dapper in button downs, ties, and color blocked separates.
This young lady accented shorts and a cardigan with a statement Céline tote.
This chic chica didn’t stick around for long, but I was feeling her curled hairstyle and eyebrow design. I can see Willow Smith adopting this look as a 20 something, can’t you?
T. Bernie Bernard of Cocoa Chic Beauty embraced one of my favorite colors (blue) and my favorite summer silhouette (a romper), along with lovely yellow nails and green accents.
Blue was a hot color for brunch, witnessed by Luam’s lovely pleated number….
Even the hostess with the mostess, Daisy Lewellyn, bet on blue in a cobalt dress from H&M and multicolored bowed sandals from JustFab.com (she disclosed she copped her whole outfit for less than $100!).
As for me…
I opted for orange in a one shoulder MSGM dress made out of comfortable jersey. I don’t really do high heels during the day on weekends, so slipped on my favorite Chloé sandals.
I know a lot of you guys think white shoes are tacky, but I don’t subscribe to this rule. They might not work for you, but they work for me! I kept the white going with white vintage sunglasses and an oversized Diane von Furstenberg Harper Clutch.
