Kim Kardashian was spotted out and about in NYC, before heading to Sears in Yonkers, NY to commemorate the first anniversary of the Kardashian Kollection line. For the occasion, she stepped out in a sheer tie-neck blouse from the collection, a $525 Monika Chiang Leather Pencil Skirt, and her favorite Céline sandals:
Her skirt is an on-trend take on the classic pencil skirt, in buttery soft black leather.
You can recreate Kim’s look for less with the below pieces.
Since I’m abroad, I’d figure we’d kick off the week with a European Bombshell, Tulinawa from Sweden:
She writes, “When it comes to fashion I would say I’m like a chameleon.”
” I love juxtaposing different types of styles and making them work together.”
” I also like editing items to fit my personal taste.”
” Fashion is my form of art.”
” Personally I find that an eye for colour, detail, texture, forms, shapes and sizes…”
“… are what create a stunning look.”
“ My blog, www.tulinawa.blogg.se, is where I display my daily outfits as well as venture into other fashion related subjects.”
How gorgeous are you? I appreciate your simple looks and individual flourishes.

So I’m in London!
Thus far, I’ve attended a great number of shows, including Issa, Marios Schwab, Rag & Bone, and Moschino Cheap & Chic. My schedule is actually pretty light, so I’ve been able to take in a few London monuments, like Big Ben.
Being abroad is all about finding new ways to wear whatever’s in your wardrobe. For day one, I belted my Milly Leather Skirt (first worn here), with a red Zara top, and punched it all up with a Zara necklace (Minx mani by Polish Bar of Brooklyn).
I added a bit of pizzazz with my Valentino Zebra rockstud kitten heels. No, the kitten heel isn’t as sexy as something a bit higher, but I was able to move around all day with zero pain;)
I threw my Ipad, camera, Oyster Card, and bottle of water in my Givenchy, then was on my way!
Thus far, I’ve attended a great number of shows, including Issa, Marios Schwab, Rag & Bone, and Moschino Cheap & Chic. I’m off today to Burberry (wee!).
My schedule is actually pretty light, so I’ve been able to take in a few London monuments, like Buckingham Palace.
And no, your eyes don’t deceive you! I tried a new hairstyle. My scalp has finally gotten a bit used to the braids, so I attempted a braid bun, thanks to this Youtube tutorial.

*Later on, I grabbed drinks with friends, and switched out my huge tote for a smaller printed clutch from Urban Outfitters.
Ok! I like and appreciate your vintage pieces, and your ability to make them work with your wardrobe.
What say you?

It’s been a little while since we’ve had both a Bomber and Bombshell, so I decided to feature two readers today.
Check out Asiff from Orlando, Florida:
He types, “To me having a sense of style is a way of life.”
” Personally, I don’t put a cap on my style.”
“…what really plays a major part is the way the clothes works with my body.”
” I’m a slim guy so rather than picking up something because its a hot commodity…”
“… it first has to fit the way I want it to, which is slim and fitted.”
” I’m very picky so the fit is the key to my style.”
” I also like playing with different patterns and drawing inspirations from New York urban trends and making it my own with more tailored fits such as those from European countries.”
” My dream is to become a stylist some day but for now I’m styling myself.”
You are correct! Fit is super important.
What do you think of the way Asiff’s clothes fit?

Today we have a Brooklyn Bombshell! Check out a few of Tajma’s looks:
She writes, ” I hope to be featured on your wonderful fashion site.”
” My style changes all of the time…”
“”… but as of right now I am into vibrant colors and prints.”
” I love to wear clothing that complements my shape without being too revealing.”
” Dressing up for me and taking pictures is fun….”
“…because I now have the confidence to do so.”
Cute! I see you have a thing for Boxing Kitten, Patricia Field, and Guess. I appreciate your plays on patterns and fun use of colors.

Let’s face it: virtually every designer does prints. Out of all of the hundreds each season, I bestow Duro Olowu with the title of my favorite print master. He has a way of being fashion forward and bold, yet so breathtaking even the most timid would want to try his pieces on for size. He paired all of his latest designs for Spring 2013 with nude pumps to let his eye-popping dresses and separates have their own stage.
Though Spring is normally characterized by bare thighs and midriffs, Olowu kept the hemlines long and the silhouettes quite covered. Long sleeves played on printed contrast-pattern lapel blazers and no button was left undone on dresses where lengths fell slightly above the knee.
How many prints can one mix? There were no bounds here, creating a kind of patchwork effect with varying florals, abstract patterns, graphic prints and more.
Will any stylish stars be brave enough to wear his gowns on the red carpet? I would love to see Joan Smalls or Jessica Alba work them!
You’re a pretty girl! Can’t wait to check out your blog.

I’ll admit that my silhouettes and hemlines have been on the saucy side this Fashion Week, so for day 5, I decided to reign it in with a more demure knee length kelly green A-line number by Prabal Gurung (courtesy of Rent the Runway).
I was going for an editor/Jackie O type vibe, so kept everything simple, accessorizing with Kate Spade Gumdrop studs, my Prada sunglasses, and my Givenchy bag (I dunno if you can tell, but I get a lot of use out of my investment pieces).
