We’re adding a dash of international flavor today with Cynthia from Scotland:
She says, ” l love vintage…”
“… Making my own pieces…”
“… and mixing them with classic vintage pieces.”
More here:
Alright! Print mixing is a skill, and I think you pull it off swimmily. You also showed great ways to repurpose pieces. Bombshell!
Be sure to check out Cynthia’s blog at www.skittlisfashion.blogspot.co.uk.

Happy Monday!
Let’s kick this week off with a bang with Folasade from LA:
She types, “My name is Sade and I’m back and forth between Atlanta and LA.”
” I am the Designer and Creative Director of my own clothing line FolaSade.”
” I set out to create a classy, elegant yet sexy line for my curvy girls such as myself.”
” There aren’t a lot of stores who cater to us so I thought I’d create my own.”
” I use fashion as an outlet to express myself.”
” My style is classy, chic, fun, and every now an then I like to switch it up and surprise people!”
” I didn’t always have this great sense of style. I’m 28 years young and the older I get, the better my style gets.”
” As I said earlier I’m a curvy girl so it took a little time for me to learn my body and know what works for my shape.”
” And that means jumping out the box and not being afraid to try new styles.”
” But most importantly I have to feel comfortable and confident in anything I wear.”
” If ever you have to think twice on wearing something more than likely DONT WEAR IT!”
” Lol I hope you ladies enjoy my style and please check out my clothing line FolaSade. The website is www.FolaSadeClothing.com My IG is @SadeAbdulAhad.”
Gorgeous, jazzy, entrepreneurial…you’re definitely a Bombshell!
Be sure to check out Folasade’s Clothing Line at www.FolaSadeClothing.com and see more of her style on IG @SadeAbdulAhad.

I love Street Style, don’t you? Nothing like genuine expressions of style, free from the input of glam squads and stylists;)
At any rate, Brandon Isralsky brought it for the 2nd part of July!
Check out his snaps below:
Yasss, this young lady is giving me life! Brown leather shorts, Tom Ford Carrie sunglasses, yellow pumps, a Louis Vuitton attaché, and a fishtail braid to boot? She is hot!
This young man showed love for the Empire State in a New York Mets Jersey, blue camouflage pants, and Jordans.
A Yeezus t-shirt was the focal point of this all black ensemble.
All black was also the call for this Soho fashionista, who worked an off the shoulder black dress, a floppy hat, and platform sandals.
A blond buzzcut and flatforms made this easy ensemble pop.
Round sunglasses gave this look a throwback feel that I absolutely adore.
And lastly, red sneakers and lips added pops to this black and white summery kaftan. Effortless chic personified.
Thoughts on this installment of NYC Style?

I guess this Friday is all about 2nd timers! Today’s Bombshell, Hariette, was first featured in 2013. She wrote back in to show how her style has evolved:
She says, “Originally from Cameroon, grew up in Norway and recently got married and moved to Los Angeles, yay!! my ever changing life….”
“I’m an Insurance Consultant by Day…”
“… and a fashion and lifestyle blogger by night.”
“My style is simple, classy…”
“… chic with a vintage vibe.”
“I own and run a fashion and lifestyle blog called Missblizzer.com.”
“Fashion is subjective, not everyone is gonna love what you wear, but as long as you feel comfortable and confident, you’re good..”
Hot! Love that pink jumpsuit.
See more of Harriett’s style at www.missblizzers.com and on Instagram @Missblizzers.

Today we have a 2nd time Bomber I know you’ll enjoy! Take a look at Xavier from Virginia Beach:
He says, “I’ve been following you for quite sometime and I noticed that sometimes you re-bomb some of your previous bombshells so I thought I’d try my luck by showing you some improvements I’ve made.”
“Since the last time you posted me I seen some of the feedback left and I re-evaluated some of the things I put together.”
” I wanted to keep my love for color a priority but lately I have become an advocate for solids.”
” Some people are afraid to wear “season oriented” clothing such as blazers and jackets in off seasons but that doesn’t bother me any. I am still a blazer, cardigan, and sweater connoisseur.”
“I have also fallen in love with fedora, bucket, and box hats because they really can accentuate an outfit and help make or break it no matter how big or small.”
“Solid color outfits have become my right hand. Anytime I can’t decide on what colors to put together I will simply “go solid”. People have done this with black & white hundreds of times but I made it a bit louder…”
“Last but not least I have a confession. I used to talk so much TRASH about sandals lol…however, they have become one of my most prized possessions. I am walking proof that anything is worth a try because you just might like it!”
Woop! All I can say is “Yasssssss!” Boom! You’re a Bomber.

She types, “I get fashion inspiration from Tumblr, Instagram, magazines and put my own twist on it.”
” I’m an island girl living in a big city so I always try to keep a little bit of that Trini laissez faire attitude in my NYC street style.”
” There are no rules to my style because I do as I feel and wear what I want so F* your rules.”
” I’ve always been into expressive mediums, as a pre-teen, I got into nail design, as a teenager I got into hair styling and now I’m a cake designer.”
” I use these mediums to express my tastes and likes and feelings too.”
” My favorite outfits consist of simple/clean clothing pieces and a statement accessory piece.”
” You can tell a lot about a girl by her accessories and I love me some shoes, bags, jewelry and NAILS!”

You’re gonna love today’s Bombshell! Take a look at Kari from Chicago:
The blogger for Chicagoings.com, Chicago’s Indie City Guide and Blog, writes, “I’m a lifestyle blogger and freelance writer from Chicago, IL – the BEST city in the world!”
” Like most women, I see fashion as an outlet for self-expression and not a tool for social status or validation.”
” With that in mind, I keep my style fun-to-wear …”
“…and practical.”
” I love mixing prints and experimenting with silhouettes, communicating my mood through the pieces I wear.”
Lovely! I adored your submission. And are those a few Reuel Reuel pieces I see?

Want a fabulous Caribbean excursion mixed with style?
I’d recommend checking out British Virgin Island’s annual Summer Sizzle event.
Set in a deliciously verdant environment, the fashion extravaganza attracts international design stars as well as local talent, in addition to stylists, journalists, and celebrities.
From July 24th-28th, you can enjoy everything from sailing excursions to all white parties to beach escapes!
I’ll be going (with Fashion Bomb photog Karl Pierre), and I’m actually co-hosting the fashion show along with Kenny Burns!
I have never….ever…ever hosted a fashion show or anything of any kind! So it should be interesting.
If you can’t make it this year, keep an eye out for pix, and also set a reminder for next year. It’s always a fun time.

” My style isn’t very easy to put into words! There are a few quotes about fashion and style that mirror my mentality.”
“”Fashions fade, style is eternal.” – Yves Saint Laurent”
“”Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak.” – Rachel Zoe”
“”Fashion is what you buy. Style is what you do with it.””
“I was born in Nigeria and came to the US as a little girl; therefore, from the very beginning I’ve always looked and been different from the people around me.”
” We didn’t have a lot, so buying what every other child had was out of the question.”
“… This is how I learned to observe the fads of fashion, catch, and even begin to predict staple items.”
” I found my voice in style very early and wasn’t afraid of continuing to be different.”
” I’m not even sure if I can remember a time I’ve wanted to fit in!”
” So my style is me, it’s vintage, playful, unpredictable, it’s “hey, where did you get that?”, it’s “only you could pull that off”, unable to be replicated and definitely not one to blend into the crowd.”
“I began blogging and constantly taking photos of my outfits since around 2006-’07 in the early days of WordPress and Blogger with my best friend Sade.”
” Now we run our own blog together, Soul of a Lion or SOAL for short where we document our love for food, traveling, fashion, school, and being ourselves. “
Love your description, and adore your fearlessness. You’re a Bombshell!
