From performing in a sleek Tom Ford ensemble at the Concert For Valor in Washington D.C., pop sensation Rihanna appeared at Fort Belvoir Exchange to promote her latest Rogue Man fragrance while sporting a Spring 2015 Green Belted Trench and $675 Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps:
Her look was modeled with barely there make up, sleek hair and black open toe ankle strap sandals.
Her pumps are a fashionista fave boasting a doable 4.75″ heel.
I’m really crushing on her double choker stacking used to infuse the right amount of edge. Love it!
She simply wrote, “I would love to be the bomb of the day boo!”

I love it all! Work, bish!

The hype surrounding the Alexander Wang x H&M collaboration was not to be ignored. With sleek scuba-like dresses, leather leggings, beanies, parkers and pullovers, sales for the highly branded Wang wares went through the roof. As usual, you Bombshells added much flair to your outfits with the urban inspired sportswear offerings. Let’s take a look at what caught your eyes and how you rocked ’em!
#SlayTime was in effect for blogger beaut Tami of the blog Talking With Tami, who brought sleek sophistication to the athletic inspired wares in a Fall perfect leather topper, pants and open-toed sandals. She is not playing!
The always stylish @NicholeAlabi of the blog NicholeAlabi.com stated, “After waiting in line for 2 hours, I was able to snag the Alexander Wang x H&M Dress with Perforated Pattern. I wore it with a Zara varsity jacket and booties, a Tory Burch crossbody and Prada sunglasses.” Love it!
@LittleBlackBlog looked fashionably fit in a figure flaunting gray and black short dress.
Lady Simone aka @Simone_Alicia rocked a fan favorite frock with thigh high socks and open toe lace up sandals.
An artistic and colorful backdrop could not dim the sartorial shine from @KelseyCassandra‘s long sleeve sweater with black and grey leggings.
Stephanie worked a pretty pout and gave incognito chic in a Wang emblazoned thick gray pullover sweatshirt. Cute!
Rose aka @styleoperator of the blog StyleOperator.com kept it minimalist in, “scuba pants and leather boots from the collection with an oversized boyfriend coat from ASOS, and a simple white t-shirt from Topshop.” Cute!

Though we haven’t heard much from the likes of Snooki for a while, tomorrow the reality television star will launch a fragrance inspired by the Great Gatsby film. Entitled Snooki Love, the fragrance was created “in honor of her upcoming nuptials to long-time-love-of-her-life Jionni LaValle.” The fragrance is her third. Both of her previous fragrances sold out within a few hours of launching. (Fashionista)
Though she has retired from her post at the New York Times, every once in a while Cathy Horyn graces our presence with a few of her views. Her latest words were on Maison Martin Margiela tapping John Galliano as the creative director. “It seemed to me more of a publicity move than anything — good for Renzo [Rosso] and good for that particular brand,” Horyn said about the move. She went on to draw connections between Galliano and Margiela with their flare for presentation but cited it mostly as a PR stunt. (The Daily)
Next year is going to be a defining year for New York Fashion Week. In addition to plans to finally move from Lincoln Center — the lease for the space is up — apparently Mercedes Benz is considering pulling out as the title sponsor of the event. Attention has been waining from the official Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week in recent years as alternative events pop up MADE Fashion Week at Milk Studios) and off-site venues offer exciting experiences. It will be an interesting evolution to watch the title event try to regain their influence. (Hollywood Reporter)
Retailers are grappling over whether or not they should open on Thanksgiving to cash in on early bird shoppers. And while some say they have to open because customers demand more shopping hour choices, others have to open or they will face fines. Tenants in the Walden Galleria mall in Buffalo, N.Y. say that the mall has announced they will fine any retailer not open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving day. It’s quite the heavy handed directive. What do you think? (Time)
The first full collection of Banana Republic under new creative director Marissa Webb is here. The J. Crew alum felt the range with some bold, vivd colorations and fashion forward workwear options. Slight safari riffs nodded to the brand’s heritage but sensible pieces — and the prices that Banana Republic deals will mark them down to — make for a pretty decent outlook for the brand. (Racked)
Rihanna performed hits like Diamond and Monster at last night’s Concert for Valor in D.C. in a black sequined cape and leggings from Tom Ford’s Spring 2015 collection:
Walk In Wonderland is an amazing blog – plain and simple. I’ve followed it’s growth for about the last year and a half and, with an insanely gorgeous leading lady, I am more than confident its success will continue to flourish. With her down-to-earth approach and an uncomplicated style, she instantly brings a bit of “edgy chicness” to the blogosphere. So, without wasting any time, let’s get into the laid back musings of Miss Sheryl Luke!
I’ve wanted to feature Sheryl for a while now; however, due to some magnificent reader suggestions and random discoveries, I somehow deviated away from highlighting this petite wonder. Walk In Wonderland is a definitive (and astounding) collection of this blogger’s travels, fashion diaries, collaborations and lifestyle influences. In addition, her site also boasts sumptuous photography and a pretty impressive design! The factor that immediately captivated me was her keen sense of self – Sheryl knows what she likes and she never fails in successfully slaying each and every look she dons.
Sheryl’s style borders along the lines in simple yet innovative. It’s evident that she does have a few signature pieces which include a classic leather vest, black cutout pumps, perfectly-fitted jeans, graphic tees and sky-high boots. Aside from an amazing sunnies collection, this Los Angeles-based fashionista is also a master in layering! She always manages to layer some of the more complex pieces while consistently maintaining that effortless vibe. All in all, I feel Sheryl is an excellent addition to our stash of Bomb Bloggers – she embodies the three F’s (fabulous, fresh and fun) and rocks them well. I’m here for it!
I love this chick! If you’re curious to discover more about Sheryl of Walk in Wonderland, check out her IG @walkinwonderland or quickly head on over to her blog here. She’s definitely one to follow!
In the meantime, let’s hear your thoughts. What do you think?
I don’t even know where to start with this feature. I mean, she’s literally done it all; however, it is her mind-boggling story that has grasped the hearts of millions. As a style pioneer and an indisputable musical icon, this woman is the epitome of legendary. Ladies and gentleman, join me as we gaze upon the phenomenal (and inspiring) musings of Miss Tina Turner.
Tina Turner (née Anna Mae Bullock) was born on November 26, 1939 in Nutbush, Tennessee. As a youngster, she was an active member of her local church choir and started to cultivate a talent that reached far beyond the limits of her small hometown. Throughout life as a young adult, Tina garnered a partnership with fellow musician, Ike Turner, and quickly started to build an impressive following throughout the 1960s and 70s. With hits like “A Fool In Love“, “Proud Mary” and “Nutbush City Limits“, the duo appeared to be an unstoppable on the charts. Despite years of both personal and professional ties, Tina eventually ventured out on her own as her career continued its ascent – as a solo artist, her success ultimately surpassed that of her earlier years. Her time as an independent act gave birth to multiple smash singles including “What’s Love Got To Do With It”, “Private Dancer” and “The Best“.
Tina Turner embodied the true essence of a style chameleon. Throughout her successful career, she never shied away from the possibility of altering her image – whether she rocked big hair or her signature fringed dress, it was clear that her take on style was quite versatile. If you study her transformations over the decades, this style maven consistently evolved. From funky, printed suits to over-the-top accessories, Tina knew a thing or two about rocking what she felt was cool. In addition, I also believe her striking charisma and undeniable confidence also played a pivotal role in the execution of her looks. Her sartorial high-notes are timeless – inspiring today’s biggest names including Beyonce- and her elegance and poise live on throughout her legacy. Side note: Can we get into those legs?!
Yes! You can never go wrong with Tina Turner! She’s served as both a style (and personal) inspiration to women all over while her fearless and fun approach to fashion continues to resonate throughout the world.
Itching to know more? Well, take a quick detour here to find additional information about today’s fabulous feature or check out the 1993 biopic “What’s Love Got To Do With It” starring Angela Bassett. It’s a must-see!

Shatawn types, “Where did Beyonce get this swimsuit?”
Beyonce looked every bit the brick house in a $128 99 Problems shirt dress by The Laundry Room.
It seems Beyonce rigged it up so that it looked like swimwear.
