Basketball player Russell Westbrook is expanding on his foray into fashion, doing an exclusive collection of eyewear for JackThreads. The frames will be under $100 and will go on sale November 11th. The line will be called the Westbrook Frames Silver Series. (WWD)
Marco Zanini is now out at Schiaparelli. In line with the latest rash of rumors, the designer who has only been working at the label for a year, has likely already been replaced. The brand released a statement that said “Schiaparelli will announce its new creative director soon.” Looks like we won’t be playing “who’s on next” for long. (Fashionista)
One of A$AP Rocky’s latest tracks, “Multiply,” got tongues wagging when he called Hood by Air and Been Trill wack. As the artist had been thought to be a supporter of both brands prior, people wondered about why he had suddenly done a 180. After asserting that no we did not misunderstand him, Rocky’s reason for spitting the lyrics was simple: “Because I can. I birthed it, so I can kill it.” Alrighty. (NY Mag)
Alessandra Ambrosio is taking her expertise from living on the beaches of Brazil and Malibu to launch a swimwear line. Expect colorful, embellished pieces that include both Brazilian and American style cuts. (StyleBlazer)
After working at Balenciaga and having just started his legacy at Louis Vuitton, Nicolas Ghesquiere hopes to one day to start his own label. “I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to do it,” he said. ” I would like to do it, but each thing in its time. Today I dedicate myself to Louis Vuitton without forgetting that I have wishes, desires.” (The Fashion Spot)
At last, we can finally put another grueling week behind us as we look forward to another relaxing and invigorating weekend; however, (before we jump into chill mode) let’s check out some of the hottest looks from some of our favorite stylish muses.
Brace yourselves! Gucci has officially taken over! The LACMA Art + Film Gala took place earlier this week and the overwhelming star power was undeniable. Songstress/actress Selena Gomez showed up and showed out in a sequin-drenched Gucci floor length gown. With a classic silhouette and a plunging neckline, it was certainly hard to miss this fashionista. Gorgeous, no?
The lovely Jennifer Lopez was also in attendance at the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala as she served flawless sultriness in another dazzling, low-cut Gucci number. Jenny’s enviable physique and long, flowy waves also added to the her irresistible (yet refreshing) beauty. Honestly, I love the combination of her accessories paired with the boldness of this navy stunner. Does she ever get it wrong?!
Actress Kate Hudson was also papped on the scene in a blush pink, one-shoulder gown by Gucci. (Am I the only one who thinks she’s the spitting image of her mom, Goldie Hawn?) Anywho, with a bold lip and piercing eyes, Miss Hudson was the epitome of chic and classy. To offset her look, the style maven chose a bejeweled, neutral clutch and metallic nails. Werk!
I’ve always had a thing for jumpsuits yet, lately, I’ve steered clear of rocking them. Thanks to Camilla Alves, I am currently revamping my next outfit! The elegant starlet turned heads in a black Camilla and Marc strapless jumpsuit; in a marvelous approach to inject classic pieces, she also donned a pair of black heeled sandals and a snakeskin print clutch. Hot!
We’re ending this fine week with Lindsay from Washington, D.C.
She succinctly described her style as, “Classic, yet chic.” Take a look:
Very cute and classic. I love it!

So as I mentioned here, I’m really focusing on ramping up great content for Fashion Bomb TV! There are loads of fashionable closets to uncover and stylish people to interview, and I thought I’d get the ball rolling with stylist and Atlanta Exes star, Tameka Raymond.
Tameka got her start styling groups like Subway and 702, and her client roster has included everyone from Missy to Jay-Z, Ciara, Nas and Mary J. Blige.
Her closet overflows with well plucked separates, bags, and shoes…check it out below:
We had a lot of fun!

The rich royal blue top features a high cowl neckline that drops seamlessly to create a loose and effortless silhouette.
Rashida opted for the matching trousers that created a jumpsuit look. The trousers feature an asymmetrical drop-crotch, making for a modern twist on a classic piece. A tapered leg provides for a more flattering fit.
She accessorized with simple gold tone jewelry pieces, black strappy sandals, and a black and white Proenza Schouler clutch. Rashida rocked the red lip with natural barely-there makeup and a high-bun hairstyle to finish off her look.
I think she looked great and exuded confidence in her monochromatic ‘fit!
You can purchase her ensemble on the Camilla and Marc site. Your thoughts on Rashida’s look?
Kim and Kanye West wore matching outfits for a dinner date last night, with Kim in a Balmain Double Breasted Dress and Kanye in a coordinating gold button blazer:
They also both went to ‘nude’ footwear, with Kim in Hermes and Kanye in his go to tan nubuck kicks.
Kim’s dress appears to be the all black iteration of this 8 buttoned mini from the brand’s Resort 2015 collection.
Ye’s blazer has a contrast satin lapel. See a similar option here.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Olivier’s custom made these pieces for this fashionable duo.
At any rate, these two…! They’re like eye candy. They look amazing.

*Kim has worn a similar dress by the brand before:
When did she wear the look the best?
*Just for fun, watch Kimye turn up with Theophilus London:
Her crop top features a jewel neckline and short sleeves.
Her matching midi pencil skirt is crafted from bright pink rose-embroidered tulle layered over red crêpe de Chine and showcases satin-stitch embroidery and a bandless waist.
Her classic silver metallic patent leather pumps feature a pointed-toe silhouette, low-cut vamps, and 4 1/4″ heels.
Hot!

Friday’s Fashion Bomber du Jour is Malusi from Durban, South Africa:
He writes, “I would describe my style as more of a dapper gentleman, although you will see me step out of my comfort zone and try different things and wild colors.”
” I’m not the tie or bow tie wearing type, but my fiancé manages to make try what she loves and thinks would suit me.”
” My style continues to evolve as I grow, I don’t expect my future son to sag his pants because I don’t do that.”
” My fiancé (Michelle) actually sent her pictures in as well, we have a blog named www.amoredivinomm.blogspot.com and we are revamping the look.”
” I was never a fan of pictures but when a woman comes into your life there’s a lot that changes, I’m now a picture lover so there will be more of me for the fellas out there.”
“Thank you.”
Cool! I love your description and your international aesthetic.
