I’ve been keeping super busy as of late!
After hopping off the plane from ATL, I headed into the city for the launch of Angela Simmons’s Foofi Faux Fur line, and an Empire Finale screening with Taraji P. Henson!

Angela Simmons’s presentation took place at the Gansevoort Hotel, and featured her line of colorful, eye catching faux furs. Fashioned for the ‘girl on the go’, the toppers won’t retail for more than $500, and come in cropped and long lengths, in various hues.

Stylist Ty Hunter came through…

Angela looked gorgeous in a dress of her own design and Christian Louboutin pumps.

And I grabbed a pic with Angela and her stylist Kanayo before heading to my next engagement!

So the Empire Finale screening called for people to come dressed as Cookie! And though I’ve worn my Givenchy Mosaic dress in the past, I thought I’d revive it, especially since Cookie wore it on a recent episode.

This time around, I paired it with a Cookie-esque fur coat, nude Louboutins, gold rings, and a red lip.

Then I was off to the screening!
The room was filled with editors, stylists, and TV personalities like Teen Vogue’s Elaine Welteroth, The Huffington Post’s Julee Wilson, Rajni Jacques, Shiona Turini, June Ambrose, Bevy Smith, Emil Wilbekin, Ursula Stephen, Ashunta Sheriff, and more, dressed in their best Cookie or Lucius Lyon ‘fits.

Though I can’t give any spoilers, let me tell you, the finale is SO JUICY! So many twists, turns, backstabbings, betrayals, fights…child. It will be must see TV tomorrow for sure.
Will you be tuning in?

And did I nail the Cookie Lyon look?
*As I mentioned, I wore this dress before:

It’s a fave of Tamron Hall, Iggy Azalea, Nene Leakes, Tamar Braxton, and more!

It’s a popular piece!
