So we always have street style during Fashion Weeks around the globe; why not have a daily street style feature that shows every day young men and women from around the world?
Just as we have our Bombshell of the Day, I’d like to feature the work of Street Style photogs in every city, from New York to Nigeria.
If you’re a photographer with an eye, send your pix to thebomblife@gmail.com to potentially be featured on the site!
A few notes: Subjects must be on the street. High Quality. No photo shoots, just keep it natural and fly!
I actually have a few photos saved up to get us started. We’ve got New York and London covered, but would love to see some street chic from other locales.
Looking forward to seeing what you guys send in!

Hilary Duff looked amazing while doing promo for her new album in NYC in a Marco De Vincenzo fringed top, $209 distressed Frame Denim Jeans, and Brian Atwood pumps.
Pretty!
See the design in Vincenzo’s Spring 2015 show.
Similar items from the designer are available at various retailers:
Her jeans have a high rise, two holes at the knee, and a distressed feel.
At any rate, I love this look! The colors are gorgeous. I have my eye on the skirt version of her shirt…

Garcelle Beauvais, Malinda Williams, Essence Atkins, and Terri J. Vaughn looked lovely at the Premiere of Girlfriends Getaway at the American Black Film Festival in New York, but Garcelle certainly stood out in a $568 Orange and Navy Blue Silk Printed Trench Dress by Simply Intricate:
The silk charmeuse dress has a high slit and a detachable belt.
First Lady Michelle Obama, along with Malia and Sasha Obama arrived at Stansted Airport in the UK for the ‘Let Girls Learn’ initiative. Mrs. Obama will meet with students and discuss how the UK and the U.S. are working together to expand access to girls education. Of course she deplaned in style in a Neon and Blue Lace Lou Dress by Preen by Thornton Bregazzi:
Blue earrings picked up on the blue in her dress.
It looks like our First Lady’s look is a custom creation. See a sleeveless version below.
The colors are gorgeous. She and the girls look beautiful!

Hey all! We’re here at the start of a brand new week, and celebs were out and about. From movie premieres to charity events, we’ve got the rundown on who wore what on Instagram. There were standouts, and some not-so-stellar looks. Let’s take a look at the Hots and the Nots.
First up is gorgeous actress Zoe Saldana, who was snapped by photogs at the Infinitely Polar Bear premiere. She kept things interesting in an asymmetric printed Louis Vuitton dress from the house’s cruise collection. She’s been very aware of the shapes that are working for her body since having her twins, and this choice was no different. Though the looks seemed a bit autumnal for me, she still worked it.
Angela Simmons is always on the go. The mogul in the making strutted her stuff while being snapped after attending a movie premiere in NYC. She joined in on the party of prints while rocking a black and white number by PatBo and $395 Schutz ‘Karlyanna’ mesh open toe boots. The shoes seemed to throw the look off a little for me, but she still looked well put together. Her hair and makeup always save the day.
Gabrielle Union was all smiles during a taping of Access Hollywood. The Being Mary Jane actress injected some color with a floral Suno dress while celebrating Tylenol’s How We Family campaign. Great choice for Gabby! Though printed on a dark backdrop, at least she experimented with something eye-catching and colorful this go ’round. Loved her hair as well!
Not exactly a fashion related post, but here’s our girl, Zendaya, who let those pearly whites shine during her high school graduation. Major congrats are in order for one of our Fashion Bomb faves, especially since she prides herself on being a positive role model for all girls out there. We only see things going up from here. Congrats, girl!
Power actress Naturi Naughton posed for a pic at the Hot in Hollywood panel during the American Black Film Festival. She repped for her co-star Lala Anthony by wearing a white 5th & Mercer dress, white pumps and statement earrings by Simone I Smith jewelry. While I loved the dress, shoes and hair, the earrings, hmm… are a little distracting. A statement ring would’ve fared better instead.
Michael B. Jordan never lets a red (or orange) carpet moment get the best of him because he always looks impeccable. The Fantastic 4 actor attended a 20th Century Fox Lupus Foundation charity event while wearing a Zegna suit and $920 Christian Louboutin ‘Zazou Fiori’ shoes. Are you as enamored by the tailoring as I am?
And last, but not least, is R&B crooner Luke James. who got in front of the lens for a few black and white shots. The singer celebrated his birthday over the weekend and saw it necessary to STUNT! Givenchy was James’ choice, from the suit to the…
…SHOES! If not for your birthday, then when? My favorite of the week!
Someone asked, “What is the No Basics Brunch about, really?” It’s simply a brunch full of fashionable enthusiasts. Instead of calling it ‘Fashion Brunch,’ we brainstormed a catchy name, and settled on No Basics. The name is fun and so is the event!
Take a look at a bit of street styled from our well dressed attendees:
Nichole Alibi went for subdued and monochrome in a white ruffled top and khaki pants, topped off by Valentino rockstud pumps and Prada sunglasses.
Linda and Corey of Midget Giraffe always represent! They looked lovely in pieces of their own design.
Koran looked summer ready in all white, electrified by a shock of blond hair.
@Ofunneamaka rocked a Forever 21 top, topshop pants, and Prabal Gurung for Target heels.
Shade! @_Melenigma committed to the theme in a hot H&M hat, a Uniqlo top, and River Island shoes.
Designer Kira Nacole went for all black with lace up sandals, a fringed bag, and look at me shades.
This fashionista paired a sparkly top with jeans shorts and blush colored peep toe heels.
We’re having two more this summer–one in July and another in August. I’ll be sure to post details here and on the ‘Gram so you can join us;)
