The dress boasts an open lattice design in stretch leatherette.
Hmm…we love Sevyn and we love House of CB, but I honestly don’t think anyone would look good in this dress. I like the braids, however!

Both Bombshells opted for simple footwear, with Eva in black sandals and Gigi in Gianvito Rossi cap toe plexi pumps.
Cut from a midweight stretch crepe, the simple dress boasts a side thigh split, a bralet shaped bust, and adjustable spaghetti straps.
It’s a bit of an unfair comparison. Gigi is dodging camera flashes while Eva is posted up: flawless! I think they both look great, but I prefer Gigi’s shoe choice. And let’s be honest: the real winner here is House of CB. They’re killing it!

The Straight Outta Compton movie is sure to end the summer with a bang!
Former NWA members, actors, and actresses assembled for the film’s LA Premiere last night at Microsoft Theater.
Let’s take a gander at who came by:
Gabrielle Union bet on black as well, and worked an Akris Fall 2015 black wool double-face tulle blazer gown while posing with hubby Dwayne Wade.
Teyonah Parris got it right in a Keepsake The Label top, John Paul Ataker pants, and Kenneth Cole sandals. Hot!
Gloria Govan was in attendance, and looked back at it in a form fitting gold dress and Christian Louboutin pumps.
Actress Aeriel Miranda sidled up to the monochromatic trend in a cape blazer, matching pants, and suede pumps. Shawty is a 10!
Snoop Dogg/Lion represented for the film in an NWA sweatshirt and jeans.
Dr. Dre beamed with his gorgeous family.
Ice Cube slipped on his signature Raiders cap, and posed with wife Kimberly Woodruff.
Russell Simmons made an appearance in plaid.
Castmembers Aldis Hodge, Corey Hawkins, Oshea Jackson Jr., Jason Mitchell, and Marlon Yates Jr. smiled for the cameras.
There you have it!
Who had the most scintillating look from the night?
And do you plan to go see Straight Outta Compton when it hits theaters on August 14?
I was recently introduced to C/MEO Collective, and after researching the brand a bit, I found: they have really cute stuff!
One of my faves from their line is their $170 Hands On Black and White Skirt:
The mini has a black rope print and a back zip.
It’s a great piece to help transition from summer to winter! Rock it with a white tank now, then pair it with a blazer and boots come fall.
If you’re into it, purchase at RevolveClothing.com.

When most people shoot off texts or send e-mails, stationary truly stands out and helps to separate you from the masses.
Send a thank you note or a thoughtful card using Annie Bioko stationary:
The cards and accompanying envelopes boast vibrant colors, glitter, and one of a kind designs.
Get one card for $9 or a set of 4 for $36.
A splurge, but you’re sure to make a lasting impression!
Happy Monday, Bombers and Bombshells!
Our No Basics summer brunch series concluded this past Saturday with a fun fete, full of fashionable folks (like the alliteration?)!
The monthly event is an opportunity to get dressed up, network, eat, drink, and be merry!
Take a look at all the fly guys and gals that swung by Corner Social in Harlem:
Corey and Linda from Midget Giraffe have attended every one of our No Basics Brunches and always look smashing! I need Linda’s striped suit for Fashion Week!
@Nomimongolian worked a cheetah printed romper. Hot!
Jewelry designer Trenna Seney of LoveTrenna.com paired Zara sandals with a printed dress and a fringed bag.
@PennyJammin_ looked absolutely amazing in an H&M collared shirt, printed shorts, and Charlotte Russe sandals. Yes!
@Irrefutably.Jiggy rocked a Zara and Suit Supply ensemble.
As for the hosts…!
We opted for a silver color palette for the daytime event.
If you follow me on Snapchat, you’d know I was having issues getting dressed, in addition to having an irritated eye (!) and a hairstylist on vacay! At any rate, I got it together, and slipped on a draped white top, Norma Kamali shorts, Casadei blade pumps, and Dior So Real shades.
We had a midnight brunch the night before (pix coming soon to the Bomb Life!). We opted for a gold color palette for our evening event.
With all those brunches and travel under my belt, I’m going to rest up for the remainder of August and prepare for Fashion Week! I’m doing the whole circuit this go round, it’s about to be on and poppin! I might also host a small event during NYFW.
As always, keep it locked here for the latest.
