It’s been a while since we’ve had Mail Bombs, but I’m in a researching mood today…and it’s Friday!
There were just a few submissions, so this will be nice and quick!
First up, Tara wrote, “Can someone help me with the designer of this jacket?”
” Please!! Thank you!!”
Yep! I hit up Z’s stylist, Law Roach, who was kind enough to point me in the direction of designer Alax Diamond.
Next, Tenika types, “I was hoping you guys could shed some light on the designer and purchase site for the gold platforms Rita Ora wore to the Coors Light listening party around mid-September.”
Inquire about them at GiuseppeZanottieDesign.com.
Elaine says, “Hi guys can you tell who made this bathing suit fashion designer Ms Decordon is wearing please?”
Briana writes, “Hey my name is Briana and I’ve been frantically searching the net for Miracle Watt’s lace up dress. Please help me Claire!”
Who is Miracle Watts? I know I can Google, but is she someone we should have on our style radar? At any rate, you can get a similar look for a steal with this $22 number from Rotita:
Lastly, several of you asked about the make of Emily B’s snazzy hat! Kari types, “Hi, how are you? I just wanted to know who makes this hat Emily B is wearing?”
Loridana added, “I’ve tried just about every combination of words that I could think of trying to locate this hat! Your assistance will be very much appreciated!”
I asked Emily, and she mentioned that the name was RTA. I searched online and couldn’t find it! So I guess this one Mail Bomb will go unsolved…
Speaking of Unsolved Mail Bombs, we have a few!
Aja says, “I cannot find his button up shirt anywhere! Can you please help me so I can help my boyfriend’s closet?”
Another Male Mail Bomb, Angie types, “I would like to know what brand or where to find Rick Ross’ fur collar jacket in his Movin’ bass video with Jay-Z. I attached the pictures. I really look forward to hearing back from you on the blog.”
Finally, Savvy One asks, “PLEASE HELP ME FIND THIS ITEM!!!! It was spotted being carried by Beyonce’s assistant. Please see attached photo.”
I asked Ty, and he didn’t know anything about it, though I foresee this clutch appearing in Beyonce’s online shop very soon!
That does it!
Have fantastic Fridays!
And I want to hear from you. What do you think of our new site? Hot! or Hmm…?
Send us an e-mail to Feedback@FashionBombDaily.com.
Smootches!
I first discovered Caven Etomi courtesy of Instagram. After skipping down my timeline, I came across this marvelous graphic tee modeled by one of my favorite bloggers. Luckily, the brand was tagged and my love affair blossomed after one visit to their site.
Caven Etomi was founded by three Nigerian visionaries – Joan Caven, Oseyi Etomi and Doreen Caven. As mentioned in their mission, Caven Etomi represents the current day contemporary Africa. Their intricate and unique designs are inspired by a mix of cultural and modern influences.
With merchandise ranging from $20 to $70, Caven Etomi supplies some of the innovative prints I’ve seen in a while. And, I’ve got to admit, the African influence is everything!
They’re dope, right?!
If you want to see more designs by Caven Etomi, visit their official site here or sift through their IG @cavenetomi.
It’s Friday, so we have a Fashion Bomber! Check out 2nd time Bomber, Joey from London:
He says, “Style – Free!”
” Hate categorising myself, I am open to wear anything from joggers to a tuxedo, love mixing matching, adapting to the weather and my moods!”
” Open mindedness is the key to my style.”
Great photography! Your style is sharp as a tack!
See Joey’s first submission here and follow him on Instagram @JoeyLondonStyle.

For Fendi’s Spring 2016 Ready-to-Wear Collection designed by none other than longtime creative director Karl Lagerfeld in partnership with Silvia Venturini Fendi, solid saturated colors reigned supreme. You could find a long coat in rich crimson, a braided mini-skirt in berry red, head-to-toe black leather dresses and a royal blue jacket over an angle-grazing aquamarine skirt. There was barely a print in sight, save a few sheer numbers. The women at Fendi were fearless and edgy; from the simple black swipe of eyeliner on their lids to their tousled, carefully thrown together hair styles.
For a brand that punches above its weight in accessories (remember the furry bag charms that retail for $1,050?), the presentation was chock full of new takes on the classic Peekaboo leather bag, snakeskin clutches with multi-color floral straps, and cat-shaped sunglasses. Leather found its way into most looks, in one incredible harness top in snakeskin and in stitching for pieces as varied as a coat, oversized pockets, and a pair of bloomers.
It wouldn’t be a Fendi show if there were not furs in tow. The haute couture house has had almost a century of history using exotic materials and held their first Haute Fourrure Collection this past July. Yet, the irony of showing fur for a Spring presentation speaks to the sort of customer base Fendi likely still fosters: aka the type of woman who desires to pull out a furand rocks a full-length snakeskin coat with leather cinched pants just because.
The proportions were spot on! Some of my favorite pieces were these cropped sport jackets (in snakeskin and red) and pretty much all of the leather dresses. Model Binx Walton looked stunning in a strong black leather threaded panel dress. Lagerfeld and his team made leather look flexible and magical.
It’s never to soon to start preparing for the cooler months ahead, right?
So, when I found out about Nasty Gal’s 70% sale, I went HAM! Although many of my finds are just sitting in my cart , the Nasty Gal Shine Off Sequin Dress is a purchase I’ll actually follow through with (lol).
The Shine Off Sequin Dress uplifts crystal detailing at the neck, silver studs and tons of black beading.
Available for $68.40 (marked down from $228.00), I’d definitely consider this a steal! Dress it up with a pair of your favorite over-the-knee boots or rock it as a top over a pair of bomb jeans.
I’m still a bit dizzy from How To Get Away With Murder. Definitely catch up on #TGIT this weekend if you weren’t able to watch last night!
This week, celebs kept the Fashion Month love going in London, attended charitable events in the States, made television appearances, and more.
Let’s see what they wore!
Zendaya Coleman snapped a selfie at the Power106 Celebrity Charity Basketball Game in LA, sporting a camo hat, matching camo pants, a crop top, and army green leather lace-up booties. She’s a cutie!
Rita Ora played cheerleader at the game in the quintessential long-sleeve, mock neck crop top and pleated mini skirt. Cute no?
At the Topshop Unique show, Jourdan Dunn showed off her mile-long stems in an embellished leather mini skirt, stripe top, and ankle-strap pumps.
Ciara also popped by Topshop Unique in a white shirt, black zip skirt, and boots, all by the British brand.
Hannah Bronfman was white hot at the 2015 Allure Beauty Awards in a jumpsuit from FBD fave HARBISON. Gorgeous!
Few love a bodycon number more than Sofia Vergara. When you’ve got a body like hers, wouldn’t you? For an appearance on Good Morning America, she slipped on a navy design with a two-tone hem.
I wasn’t surprised to see Burberry darling Sienna Miller at the fashion house’s Prorsum Spring 2016 show, but I was delighted by her Fall-perfect forest green fur coat. I need this in my closet immediately!
A billowing jumpsuit with cold shoulder cutouts and a tie-waist was Shay Mitchell’s choice at the Bon Voyage to Summer with Stella Artois Party in NYC.
Selena Gomez showed off her bikini bod on Miami Beach in a black, sleek one-piece.
At the Pan UK Premiere, Roxie Nafousi slipped on her second Needle & Thread ensemble. I’m slowly, but surely starting to fall in love with this brand!
Maggie Q and fiance Dylan McDermott went glam at the Metropolitan Opera Otello Premiere. Couples don’t get much better looking than this. And I can’t wait to see this staging of the classic opera.
When the celeb style set want to look sexy, they opt for Bec & Bridge dresses. Lea Michele donned an orange leather style with a plunging necklace from the brand while making an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show. Hot!
Jamie Chung kept it simple and chic in a strapless tiered top and flares while out and about in Beverly Hills.
Jane The Virgin returns to TV in just a couple weeks! Its star Gina Rodriguez wore a black embellished zigzag crop top and pencil skirt at EXTRA’s Weekend of Lounge in West Hollywood. She’s adorable!
Closing out the week was Sofia Sanchez de Betak at The Ballet National de Paris Opening Season Gala in a printed strapless Dolce & Gabbana dress.
Natalie Portman kept it colorful at the Paris Opera Ballet Défilé Opening Gala at the Palais Garnier in a dress from Dior’s Spring 2015 Couture Collection:
She accessorized with Charlotte Olympia red satin heels and De Grisogono jewelry.
Her dress was modeled with slick blue boots.
It also comes in yellow.
She looks great! The dress is festive and fun.
What do you think?
Earlier today, reality starlet Draya Michele snapped a quick pic via Instagram while uplifting a royal blue ASOS jumpsuit and $675 Aquazzura Linda gold leather sandals.
Her sassy footwear includes cross ankle straps and a slim toe strap.
These beauties also boast a 4-inch heel.
I mean, you can never go wrong with a pair of metallic stunners! But, for this price, I’ll take an ‘ L’ on this one…
Yet, if you’re up for making the splurge, check out additional purchasing details here.
