The ‘People’s Princess’ please stand up. That would be Ice Spice of course.
The 23 year old bright ginger head beauty with African American and Dominican roots, has undoubtedly become a break-out star in the Hip Hop culture, with many of her songs reaching the top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100-chart.
From the Bronx to Italy, Ice Spice has come along way and it’s partially thanks to record producer RiotUSA who saw her potential back in 2021. Over the course of two years, Ice Spice released numerous songs that gained traction with her most recent collaboration with Nicki Minaj on “Princess Diana,” receiving over 35 million views within just 3-weeks.

We spotted the ‘Munch’ rapper in Florence, Italy and what better designer to wear that Italian designer, Emilio Pucci. After all, he’s been every celebrities go to designer when vacationing based on the execution of his colorful prints.
Ice Spice opted for a form-fitting two-piece long sleeve cropped top and maxi skirt that had Pucci’s identifiable multicolor crepe de chine Iride print. For shoe candy, she wore Pucci open-toe heels that also had the same print on the strap of her sandals and made her ensemble feel very cohesive. Most notable was her hair which was flatiron and flipped with a deep U-part showing her chameleon ability.

It was just this past Monday that we captured Ice Spice in all her glory at her first Met Gala that Anna Wintour invited her too and she definitely held her ground in a white sequin and sheer custom gown by Balmain.

Many people thought that Ice Spice would be a one-hit-wonder, but the complete opposite is true. Her dedication and work-ethic had dubbed her the “People’s Princess” for a reason and we know that with such ammunition, she’s on her way to reach explosive success.

Keke Palmer bodied the red carpet, ate it up and gave it back!
The Emmy award winning actress stunned at the MET Gala and After Party in two Sergio Hudson ensembles that left us in awe and blown away once she landed on the scene.
Sergio Hudson, who has become a fan-favorite amongst many celebs, also created custom looks for LALA, and Rachel Brosnahan for this year’s MET Gala, however, all eyes were on KeKe who unquestionably gave us a youthful spin.

Bringing Sergio Hudson’s vision to life, Keke, 29 wore a multicolor off the shoulder gown that had pastel sequins and swarovski crystals and was layered with a satin baby blue cape that had pink interior.
The cape which was an instant hit, was elongated and draped romantically off the actress shoulders. For her hairdo, KeKe pumped up the volume and add some oomph to her hair which elevated her entire look and made her look like a black modern day barbie.

Following her departure from the MET Gala, KeKe served us a second Sergio Hudson look that revealed skin and cleavage for the After-party. The vivid multicolor black mini body-con dress and fuchsia coat was exactly the refresh we needed as she exuded both confidence and femininity.
This video captures KeKe in her element leaving her hotel to the After-Party, and as you can see, “she’s not new to this, she’s true to it.” As she sashayed to her black car, one would think that nothing can defeat her. Not to mention, her snap-back game after just delivering birth to her newborn is quite astonishing and impressive.
It was great to see both Keke Palmer and Sergio Hudson partner up with each other in pursuit to honor Karl Lagerfeld and based on the execution of it, they get 10’s across the board.
Although the Met Gala ended a few days ago, we’re still reminiscing on some of our favorite celebrity looks and one star who really brought the heat during Monday’s exhibition was no other than rapper, Cardi B.
Known for having a distinctive flow and one of a kind style, Cardi B gave her flowers to Karl Lagerfeld in an interchangeable way. Cardi B took it one step further and served a total of four looks for the evening. To say she made quite the entrance would be an understatement.
We captured Cardi B leaving the Mark Hotel in New York wearing a baby pink Miss Sohee gown that had all the makings of the Caribbean festival, Carnival. The low cut satin bodice with jewel embellishments and pink tulle headpiece were certainly staple pieces to her gown.
Once Cardi B arrived to the MET Gala red carpet, she changed into a black and white Cheng Peng Studio gown with Laurel Dewitt earrings. The top of her ensemble gave off Karl Lagerfeld with a white sleeveless shirt and velvet tie, while the texture of Cardi’s skirt gave us Chanel with the quilting and iconic florals.
Most notable was Cardi B’s glam which felt very old Hollywood with her soft beat and voluminous gray hair. Cardi B’s stylist, Kollin Carter helped her bring the drama Monday night which was exactly what we needed during Fashion’s biggest night out.

Transitioning into a third look once she made it inside the venue, Cardi B wore a pink and black Richard Quinn tweed gown to honor the legendary fashion icon. Her ensemble was such a game-changer that it totally blew us away. We love how she accessorized with pearls necklaces and earrings and Quinn’s design undoubtedly looked like something Karl himself would have curated during his time at Chanel.
For her final look, Cardi B turned heads in a Syndical Chamber custom gown to the after party. To remain on theme for the evening, the designer Sergio Castaño Peña printed Karl Lagerfeld’s first WWD media article in velvet on a body-con dress. Talk about taking an unprecedented direction and seizing each moment to deliver a “WOW” factor.

We loved all of Cardi B’s interpretations and variations of Karl Lagerfeld at the MET Gala and that she wasn’t afraid to unapologetically take risks. Although some celebrities looked subdued at this years event, Cardi B left no crumbs on the table which is what we hope for every year.
“Ain’t no party like a Met Gala after-party because a Met Gala after-party doesn’t stop.”
If you thought celebrities only brought their A-game on the red-carpet, then think again because once the after-parties started, many of our favorite celebs did a quick refresh and gave us a second dose of mega looks that oozed sex-appeal.
From Yung Miami who delivered “BAPs” vibes with a custom headpiece and chain costume by Duran Lantink, to Kendall Jenner and Lala who were all about showing their undergarments in sheer and transparent garments, many stars rose to the occasion.
Dua Lipa, who co-chaired along with Anna Wintour at this years Met Gala, and actress Penelope Cruz remained true to the Karl Lagerfeld theme in Chanel . While Janelle Monae bared it all in a sequence and pearl bikini by Thom Browne that definitely made her look like a rockstar.
Keep things refined and elevated, Sabrina Idris and Kendall Jenner opted for the color black with Sabrina who looked flawless in a Isabel Marant high-neck sheer dress, and Kendall who took a more classical approach in a black off the shoulder Jean Paul Gaultier gown.
To brightened things up a bit, “About Damn Time” singer Lizzo glowed in a gold Paco Rabanne and Vanessa Hudgens shined in a silver Michael Kors two-piece look following Monday’s extravaganza.

Rita Ora took nail designs to whole new level for the 2023 Met Gala, but are we surprised? When it comes to experimental beauty trends, Rita is that girl. From her latest mermaid fish gills glam to the British Fashion Awards, to her most recent epic nail design moment at the 2023 Met Gala, she is not afraid to step out of the beauty box.
Rita showed up to the Met Gala alongside husband Taika Waititi wearing a black sheer 3D floral Prabal Gurung gown, however her nails was the talk of the night. Nail artist, Naomi Yasuda designed a black stiletto nail set, with full length beaded chain necklaces on every finger. Rita’s nail necklaces were glued to her mani. She paid tribute to the theme: “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” by adding a little Chanel logo that can be seen on her index finger, paying homage to Lagerfeld’s long-held position as the brand’s creative director. Now how exactly did she sit down to eat or use the restroom? Not sure, but at least she was stylish.
As for the rest of her ensemble, Rita called on makeup artist, Anthony Nguyen for a soft smoky eye and ’90s nude lip glam, which she paired with butt-length mermaid waves.
When Rihanna and A$AP Rocky walk into the room, they command unwavering attention from paparazzi and fans alike. Last night the star-studded duo arrived to the Met Gala fashionably late and it was certainly worth the wait.
Rihanna made quite the entrance in a white over-the-top, and extravagant white Valentino gown that definitely took up space in honor of our beloved, Karl Lagerfeld and the Met Gala’s preset theme, “A Line of Beauty.”

In this video, you can see Rihanna’s long satin train that was perfectly draped and layered with a cape that had a hood and external white flowers. Similar to Cardi B, Rihanna also opted for a 3D flower design- symbolic to Chanels flower logo that Karl Lagerfeld used on many of his designs.
The ‘Take a Bow’ singer accessorized with black and white cat-eye glasses and white stilettos that had a flower design centered. Her bold red lip was the perfect glam accessory to play off A$AP Rocky’s signature plaid Gucci skort.
Walking hand in hand as they strutted from the Met Gala tents, A$AP Rocky led the way in a full Gucci ensemble that included a formal look up-top and an innovative one down-below.
We love how A$AP Rocky unapologetically takes risks so seeing the way he layered his plaid skort on top of a pair of embellished jeans was quite legendary. His four Gucci belts layered across his waist looked like a modern tuxedo cummerbund.
The chemistry that the these two love birds share was evident last night on the Met Gala red carpet. We absolutely love how they match each others fly and with the pair expecting their second bundle of joy, we can’t wait to see the evolution of their family.
Haute couture with some of the most alluring, and whimsical designs painted the MET Gala red carpet yesterday evening for fashions biggest night out in New York City.
The annual event which takes place every first Monday of May at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, paid tribute to the late Karl Lagerfeld through an exhibition entitled, “A Line of Beauty.” With over 200 of Karl’s designs, the exhibition allowed attendees to preview past work that Lagerfeld curated during his time at fashion houses like Chanel, Fendi, Balmain and his very own eponymous line, “Karl, by Karl Lagerfeld.”
Celebrities who were specially approved by Vogue Editor-in-Chief, and ME Gala Co-chair, Anna Wintour to attend were requested to dress “in honor of Karl.” As many of us know, the German designer primarily wore black and white, which seemed to be the color scheme amongst many stars.
Jeremy Pope stunned in an over-the-top Balmain black and white cape that had Karls face painted down his train. Initially Creative Director, Balmain Rousteing walked up the MET Gala stairs with a tote bag that said, “Karl Who?” and then all of sudden Jeremy walked up the stairs and they unraveled his cape to clearly indicate who Karl was. This moment was perfectly executed to a T and definitely put Jeremy on our best dressed list.
Designer Thom Browne happen to be a fan favorite with celebs like Teyana Taylor and Janelle Monae who literally ATE in their Thom Browne ensembles. “A Thousand & One” star Teyana Taylor showed us who’s boss in a modernized suit gown that had cutouts below her waist and looked sickening on the star. While Janelle Monae took some notes out of Lady Gaga’s page book and unraveled into a second black and white look that dramatized the carpet.
Rihanna and Cardi B stayed true to the theme with their 3D flower dress designs that were reminiscent of the infamous Chanel flower logo. Not to mention Kim Kardashian and Lizzo who brought out the pearls out for the girls and were right on trend for the evening.
A few celebs were even unrecognizable at the Met Gala, hence Doja Cat who looked purrrr-fect in her cat themed bodysuit and Lil Nas X who twirled down the red carpet covered in silver paint with luxe jewels by Pat McGrath.
The stars of the night put their best foot forward and made bold fashion statements that had quite a sartorial elegance. Ahead, see which celebrities were best dressed last night and let us know your thoughts!

Is Kim Kardashian the Marilyn Monroe of our time? From the looks of last year’s Met Gala, one would certainly imagine that to be true. The Kardashians Hulu star made a returning debut to New York just in the knick of time for the Met Gala that’s scheduled for today.
In honor of the late Chanel Creative Director, Karl Lagerfeld- celebrities will pay tribute to the German designer this evening through a series of looks that he curated during his time at houses like Chanel, Fendi, Chloe and his own line Karl by Karl Lagerfeld.

As Kim stepped out of her black car over the weekend with daughter North West and niece Penelope Disick, it was evident to see that the trio dressed in all black and dripped in Chanel came to the Big Apple for Fashion Biggest Night Out- the Met Gala.
Kim wore a black Chanel cropped top that showed off the 42-year old’s killer body with leather pants that looked like they were attached to a her leather pointy toe boots. Her accessories certainly gave off the Karl vibe with her chained Chanel Sunglasses, and her quilted box silhouette handbag.

Channeling her mother, North West wore Chanel shades to go with her Chanel leather button up top and distressed black jeans. Similar to Kim’s bag, North rocked the mini version and her cousin Penelope Disick also got in on the fun.
Kourtney and Scott Disick’s daughter offered her own take on her Karl inspired look wearing a black top and leather skirt that had a Chanel chain wrapped around her waist. She accessorized with Chanel shades and a square toe knee high boot. It’s great to see both North and Penelope following in Kim’s lead as they’re next in line to lead fashion.
As we take a look back on Kim Kardashian’s previous Met Gala looks we can’t get over her bold, elaborate and ornate gowns that have made her a show-stopper in the past and a fan favorite.
