On the Scene at Chanel’s Cruise 2024 Runway Show in LA: Lori Harvey, Kimora Lee Simmons, H.E.R & More in Chanel

Luxurious and extravagant with indefinite prestige, Chanel released their Cruise 2024 collection last night at the Paramount Studio in Los Angeles with A-list celebrities walking into a fantasy world filled with a skating rink runway, light installations and food trucks.

The runway show which was strictly reserved for the ‘who’s who’ of Hollywood was quite the scene with celebrities including Lori Harvey, Sofia Richie and HER all making an appearance with looks that certainly captured our attention. Not to mention, Los Angeles King of Hip-Hop, Snoop Dogg who performed his hit songs like ‘Drop it Like It’s Hot’ and “Nuthin but a ‘G’ Thang,”- we definitely were keeping a scoreboard of all the hottest looks of the evening.

Socialite Lori Harvey looked like a class-act for the Chanel show in a white and black Chanel ensemble that included a mini dress layered with a black tweed jacket and pearl waist beads. Her white kitten heel with a patent leather pointy-toe paired exceptionally well with her gold layered Chanel bangles.

Along with Lori Harvey, Kimora Lee Simmons who once was the face of Chanel and one of Karl Lagerfeld’s muses back in the day, looked iconic and so chic in her patterned tweed Chanel Blazer over a black high-neck mini dress. She sparkled throughout the night in her $1,595 Alexander Wang ‘Viola’ glittered knee boots and her black and gold Mademoiselle crossbody clutch.

Keeping things more on the traditional side, Kris Jenner also made an appearance at the show in a black and white tweed on tweed combo with a quilted Chanel satchel that matched her black leather gloves, and low patent leather platforms.

Opting for more color, newlywed Sofia Rich switched things up a bit and attended the show with her husband Elliot Grainge in a white tweed jacket that had soft pink fur down the center of her jacket. She paired her look with silk lace shorts and chose to accessorize with pink statement Chanel earrings. No one has worn more Chanel than Richie who was dripped in Chanel for her entire Wedding weekend earlier this month in France.

Similar to Richie, singer H.E.R also chose to wear color but took a different spin with mixing prints on prints. Although we loved her suit which included long flare pants, we weren’t a fan of her abstract sweater, nor her embellished bag which looked a bit too busy and chaotic on the Grammy award winning star.

Taking a completely different approach, Christina Milian showed up to the Chanel show in a ultra-saturated red Chanel puffer with form-fitting leather pants that had zipper detailing towards the hem of her pants. Her knotless braids gave an urban look and we adored her Chanel crossbody and two-tone chained open-toe heels.

Also keeping things spicy and fierce, Tracee Ellis Ross looked like she was going on a safari in her cheetah print Chanel loungewear that looked so posh with her layered maroon colored leather peplum vest. Her red and black Chanel boots were a fantastic finishing to her bold look and without a doubt she is following in her mother Diana Ross fashionable footsteps.

We loved seeing so many star-studded celebrities attend Chanel’s Cruise 2024 runway show and what we admired most was how each star individually served a Chanel look that reflected their own personal style.

On the Scene at the Little Mermaid L.A Premiere: Halle Bailey in Valdrin Sahiti, Marsai Martin in Giambattista Valli, Chloe Bailey in Gert-Johan Coetzee and More

Disney’s live-action Little Mermaid is coming to shore. To celebrate the Los Angeles premiere of the film, cast members, acting peers, and more showed up to the ocean blue carpet with style so good it’d make a voiceless Ariel sing. While the dazzling leading lady, Halle Bailey, showed off her modeling chops in an aquatic design reminiscent of rippling waves, her sister, Chloë Bailey, served a yellow bejeweled gown we know Flounder would love.

Kanye West Gives Away White Tees at Secret Yeezy Season 10 Secret Fashion Show

Many in fashion may have cut ties with Ye, but he hasn’t given up on the industry he loves to hate. The controversial rapper quietly unveiled Season 10 of his Yeezy collection with an extremely lowkey presentation in Los Angeles.

On Monday, May 1, viral photos of the YZY FREE fashion show took over social media. West’s private showing, held inside a warehouse, featured skinhead models steadily walking the runway while wearing tight white tees and black bottoms. It’s reported that Frank Ocean’s Self Control provided the soundtrack for the hush-hush event, and each model carried a candle down the catwalk.

Although Highsnobiety reports that Ye began working on Yeezy season 10 last month, the confidential showing only featured one design…the tight white t-shirts. A design so groundbreaking each attendee reieved one for free.

Immediately after the show, the single –and free– design went onto reselling sites for upwards of $300.

Kim Kardashian Posed in Fendi X Marc Jacobs RE23 Capsule Collection Inspired by the ‘Gilded Age’

Uh-Ohhh! Did someone just take a page out of Rihanna’s style-book because Kim Kardashian is certainly looking a lot like Rihanna during this year’s pre-MET Gala .

That’s right! If any of you recall, Rihanna shut it down in a black and white vintage Chanel 1994 ensemble that we first reported here, during the weekend before the MET Gala . Taking a look at Kim, it’s quite obvious to see that the Media Personality perhaps was inspired by Rihanna’s oversized fur hat moment.

The gorgeous 42-year old Socialite and Hulu Star wore Fendi X Marc Jacobs Resort 2023 collection while posing on Instagram. We have to know where she washing in this look because she definitely slayed the scene.

Along with her strikingly beautiful statement hat, Kim paired her look with a white cropped corset that she styled with a light-blue denim skirt which was identical to what we saw on the runway previously. She chose to accessorized with white leather gloves and clear platform mules that showed her well-toned legs through the high-slit of her denim skirt.

If you are wondering why we have yet to see more celebrities in the Fendi X Marc Jacobs collection, it’s because Kim Kardashian is that girl and got first dibs. The collection which is expected to release on Wednesday, May 11th is in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Fendi’s ‘Baguette bag.’

Fendi has recently partnered up with designers like Sarah Jessica Parker, Porter, Tiffany & Co and of course, Marc Jacobs. In the grand scheme of things, Marc Jacobs was inspired by New York’s ‘Gilded Age’ which showed through his capsule’s use of silhouettes along with the practicality of his garments.

Overall, Kim’s look felt very constructed, luxe and posh and we loved how she joined Rihanna in tapping into the era of the oversized statement hats. We can’t wait to see how other fashionista’s alike adopt and interpret this trend into their wardrobe next season.

Rihanna Wore Loewe Fall 2023, Acne Studio and Prada while on Date Nights with A$AP Rocky this Week

Maternity wear never looked so good and the slayage continues to persist throughout Rihanna’s second pregnancy.

Just when we thought her ensembles couldn’t get any better, she stuns in yet another fashion-forward look from designers latest collection. We spotted the ‘Love on the Brain’ singer walking around New York City with her beau A$AP Rocky and from the looks of it, one would think we are in fall based on the fur galore that Rihanna was giving.

Rihanna who is known for being seasons ahead of the game, stepped out on the town in a Fall 2023 Loewe runway look which consisted of an oversized nude and brown fur coat, that was styled with a fur halter cropped top and a mocha leather asymmetrical skirt.

Her snake-skin Gianvitto Rossi gladiator heels were a major staple to her ensemble and we adored her Chanel vintage ski sunglasses that Lil Kim was known for rocking back in the day.

A$AP Rocky took a more understated approach with his look, opting for a white button up skirt that he layered with a leather bomber jacket and grey cargo shorts. He chose to accessorize with black statement boots that had a clear sole to go with his black shades and diamond pinky ring.

Following the MET Gala earlier this week, we captured Rihanna and A$AP Rocky on Wednesday grabbing dinner at Italian restaurant Carbone in Soho in yet another edgy look. They both were giving downtown chic vibes with Rihanna styled in a black Acne Studio Leather jacket and a black mini Prada skirt. She accessorized with a Miu Miu mini shoulder bag and a pair of $1990 Amina Muaddi Jaleel thigh high boots that were a brilliant contribution to her unconventional outfit.

Harlem bred A$AP Rocky held RiRi’s hand leaving the restaurant in a traditional look including a white tee with a red and black flannel that he styled with light blue straight jeans. We love his cobalt blue puffer jacket that went perfectly with his Goyard Saint Louis PM Tote bag.

Rihanna continues to make her maternity style more iconic by the day. Aside from Beyonce, name another celebrity that has brought this much flavor and pizzaz when styling their baby bump…we think we’ll wait. We love how Rihanna continues to hit the pavement strutting in some of the most beautifully crafted and stylish ensembles and we look forward to seeing more of her exceptional street style.

The ‘People’s Princess’ Ice Spice Looked Spring-forward in a Pucci Print While Vacationing in Florence, Italy

The ‘People’s Princess’ please stand up. That would be Ice Spice of course.

The 23 year old bright ginger head beauty with African American and Dominican roots, has undoubtedly become a break-out star in the Hip Hop culture, with many of her songs reaching the top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100-chart.

From the Bronx to Italy, Ice Spice has come along way and it’s partially thanks to record producer RiotUSA who saw her potential back in 2021. Over the course of two years, Ice Spice released numerous songs that gained traction with her most recent collaboration with Nicki Minaj on “Princess Diana,” receiving over 35 million views within just 3-weeks.

We spotted the ‘Munch’ rapper in Florence, Italy and what better designer to wear that Italian designer, Emilio Pucci. After all, he’s been every celebrities go to designer when vacationing based on the execution of his colorful prints.

Ice Spice opted for a form-fitting two-piece long sleeve cropped top and maxi skirt that had Pucci’s identifiable multicolor crepe de chine Iride print. For shoe candy, she wore Pucci open-toe heels that also had the same print on the strap of her sandals and made her ensemble feel very cohesive. Most notable was her hair which was flatiron and flipped with a deep U-part showing her chameleon ability.

It was just this past Monday that we captured Ice Spice in all her glory at her first Met Gala that Anna Wintour invited her too and she definitely held her ground in a white sequin and sheer custom gown by Balmain.

Many people thought that Ice Spice would be a one-hit-wonder, but the complete opposite is true. Her dedication and work-ethic had dubbed her the “People’s Princess” for a reason and we know that with such ammunition, she’s on her way to reach explosive success.

Keke Palmer Blew Us Away in Sergio Hudson at the 2023 MET Gala and After-Party

Keke Palmer bodied the red carpet, ate it up and gave it back!

The Emmy award winning actress stunned at the MET Gala and After Party in two Sergio Hudson ensembles that left us in awe and blown away once she landed on the scene.

Sergio Hudson, who has become a fan-favorite amongst many celebs, also created custom looks for LALA, and Rachel Brosnahan for this year’s MET Gala, however, all eyes were on KeKe who unquestionably gave us a youthful spin.

Bringing Sergio Hudson’s vision to life, Keke, 29 wore a multicolor off the shoulder gown that had pastel sequins and swarovski crystals and was layered with a satin baby blue cape that had pink interior.

The cape which was an instant hit, was elongated and draped romantically off the actress shoulders. For her hairdo, KeKe pumped up the volume and add some oomph to her hair which elevated her entire look and made her look like a black modern day barbie.

Following her departure from the MET Gala, KeKe served us a second Sergio Hudson look that revealed skin and cleavage for the After-party. The vivid multicolor black mini body-con dress and fuchsia coat was exactly the refresh we needed as she exuded both confidence and femininity.

This video captures KeKe in her element leaving her hotel to the After-Party, and as you can see, “she’s not new to this, she’s true to it.” As she sashayed to her black car, one would think that nothing can defeat her. Not to mention, her snap-back game after just delivering birth to her newborn is quite astonishing and impressive.

It was great to see both Keke Palmer and Sergio Hudson partner up with each other in pursuit to honor Karl Lagerfeld and based on the execution of it, they get 10’s across the board.

Cardi B Slayed in Four Impressive Designs During the 2023 MET GALA including Cheng Peng Studio, Miss Sohee, Richard Quinn & Sergio Castaño Peña

Although the Met Gala ended a few days ago, we’re still reminiscing on some of our favorite celebrity looks and one star who really brought the heat during Monday’s exhibition was no other than rapper, Cardi B.

Known for having a distinctive flow and one of a kind style, Cardi B gave her flowers to Karl Lagerfeld in an interchangeable way. Cardi B took it one step further and served a total of four looks for the evening. To say she made quite the entrance would be an understatement.

We captured Cardi B leaving the Mark Hotel in New York wearing a baby pink Miss Sohee gown that had all the makings of the Caribbean festival, Carnival. The low cut satin bodice with jewel embellishments and pink tulle headpiece were certainly staple pieces to her gown.

Once Cardi B arrived to the MET Gala red carpet, she changed into a black and white Cheng Peng Studio gown with Laurel Dewitt earrings. The top of her ensemble gave off Karl Lagerfeld with a white sleeveless shirt and velvet tie, while the texture of Cardi’s skirt gave us Chanel with the quilting and iconic florals.

Most notable was Cardi B’s glam which felt very old Hollywood with her soft beat and voluminous gray hair. Cardi B’s stylist, Kollin Carter helped her bring the drama Monday night which was exactly what we needed during Fashion’s biggest night out.

Transitioning into a third look once she made it inside the venue, Cardi B wore a pink and black Richard Quinn tweed gown to honor the legendary fashion icon. Her ensemble was such a game-changer that it totally blew us away. We love how she accessorized with pearls necklaces and earrings and Quinn’s design undoubtedly looked like something Karl himself would have curated during his time at Chanel.

For her final look, Cardi B turned heads in a Syndical Chamber custom gown to the after party. To remain on theme for the evening, the designer Sergio Castaño Peña printed Karl Lagerfeld’s first WWD media article in velvet on a body-con dress. Talk about taking an unprecedented direction and seizing each moment to deliver a “WOW” factor.

We loved all of Cardi B’s interpretations and variations of Karl Lagerfeld at the MET Gala and that she wasn’t afraid to unapologetically take risks. Although some celebrities looked subdued at this years event, Cardi B left no crumbs on the table which is what we hope for every year.

The Met Gala After Party: Yung Miami in Duran Lantink, Lizzo in Paco Rabanne, LaLa in Maticevski, Janelle Monae in Thom Browne & More

“Ain’t no party like a Met Gala after-party because a Met Gala after-party doesn’t stop.”

If you thought celebrities only brought their A-game on the red-carpet, then think again because once the after-parties started, many of our favorite celebs did a quick refresh and gave us a second dose of mega looks that oozed sex-appeal.

From Yung Miami who delivered “BAPs” vibes with a custom headpiece and chain costume by Duran Lantink, to Kendall Jenner and Lala who were all about showing their undergarments in sheer and transparent garments, many stars rose to the occasion.

Dua Lipa, who co-chaired along with Anna Wintour at this years Met Gala, and actress Penelope Cruz remained true to the Karl Lagerfeld theme in Chanel . While Janelle Monae bared it all in a sequence and pearl bikini by Thom Browne that definitely made her look like a rockstar.

Keep things refined and elevated, Sabrina Idris and Kendall Jenner opted for the color black with Sabrina who looked flawless in a Isabel Marant high-neck sheer dress, and Kendall who took a more classical approach in a black off the shoulder Jean Paul Gaultier gown.

To brightened things up a bit, “About Damn Time” singer Lizzo glowed in a gold Paco Rabanne and Vanessa Hudgens shined in a silver Michael Kors two-piece look following Monday’s extravaganza.

Check out the Met Gala after-party looks below and let us know your thoughts!
