Kim Kardashian Sports a Black and White Balenciaga X Adidas tracksuit while Khloe Kardashian wore Laquan Smith in New York

The Kardashian sisters minus one, have touched down in New York with Kim and Khloe rocking polar opposite looks.

The second oldest Kardashian sister, Kim showed off her killer abs in a black sports bra that she paired with Balenciaga X Adidas track pants that zipped at the hem, and an oversized trench jacket.

Have Balenciaga and Adidas made amends after 5 months of Adidas choosing to take a step back from the French fashion luxury house ?

That seems to be the case as Kim was dripped in full Balenciaga X Adidas gear from head to toe. It seems like now that the controversy regarding Balenciaga’s holiday campaign images that showcased children with inappropriate BDSM plush bear bags has died down a bit, celebs are back to the basics.

Keep it mind that Balenciaga did release a public apology immediately following the release of the images, however is that enough to suffice? Only time shall tell.

Contrary to Kim Kardashian, her sister Khloe Kardashian looked sickening in a black Laquan Smith ensemble that included a crop high-neck sleeveless top and black maxi skirt. Her futuristic silver metal belt accentuated the ‘Hulu’ star waist and we loved her diamond body chain.

This also isn’t Khloe first time wearing Smith designs, and every time she does, she leaves no crumbs on the table. We were so here for Khloe’s looks and we look forward to see what stylish outfits the Kardashians have up their sleeves while slaying the big apple!

On the Scene: Angela Yee Speaks with the CEO’s of Ebony Magazine About Building their Legacy at the Ebony X Barbancourt Event

Last Thursday, The CEO of Ebony Magazine Eden Bridgeman Sklenar partnered with the CEO of Barbancourt Rhum, Delphine Gardere and presented their ‘Legacy’ event in celebration of successfully being in business for the past decades.

Moderated by radio personality Angela Yee, each woman touched on the importance of being a woman of color is such a high role. They also spoke about how to create a legacy with minimal resources,  and encouraged attendees to seek out business opportunities within their community.

During the live interview with Yee, both CEOs expressed the difficulties associated with being a woman of power and the importance of speaking up. Delphine Gardere expressed, “Being in this position I’ve learned to let my voice be heard without caring about what others may think.”

Building a legacy may look different for others, but one thing that building a legacy has in common with other CEO’s is the team-building and development that occurs behind the scenes.

“I’ve learned that I would be nothing without the support of my team and family. You cannot be successful without having a team and support around you,” stated Bridgeman, the CEO of Ebony Magazine.

“When I stepped into this role as the CEO, I had just given birth to my first child so without the support of my family, none of this would be possible,” Bridgeman further elaborated.

It’s evident to see that both companies have worked consistently to keep their businesses thriving. There’s no doubt that when people think of a black owned magazine, Ebony Magazine comes to mind.

“I see Ebony Magazine in the future as a platform that everyone can relate to and see themselves in. The goal is to be able to relate to the culture while creating influence for the culture,” said Bridgeman.

After the panel discussion, to add to the festivities guests enjoyed custom cocktails courtesy of Rhum Barbancourt. The cocktails were created by Netflix’s Drink master’s, LP O’Brien.

As for Barbancourt Rhum, this alcoholic beverage has been around for decades, and they plan on staying around for even longer. “Barbancourt Rhum will create more spaces in the future for women like me, and hopefully when other women of color see me in this position , it will inspire them,” said Gardere

Mary J. Blige Shut It Down On Stage in Black Leather Schiaparelli, Red and White Sir Babajagne and More at Strength of a Woman Fest 2023

A round of applause for the one and only Mary J Blige who successfully pulled off her Strength of a Woman 4-day festival in Atlanta over the weekend. From conferences and workshops, to performances and boundless entertainment, Mary did her thang!

During day 2 of the star-studded festival, Mary J. Blige performed her classical jam, “Love No Limit,” to a sold out crowd in a custom red and white Sir Babajagne biker look with red thigh high boots.

FYI, Mary did in fact mention that she will be coming out with her own boot line during a panel discussion which will be highly anticipated and sought-after.

Can we also get into how fierce her blonde bob cut looked on the global superstar?! She was serving looks for days and we loved her ability to switch it up at any given moment.

Transformative and looking as if she came out of a matrix, Mary J Blige wore a black leather Schiaparelli cutout bodysuit that had gold hardware and was paired with leather mini shorts. She layered her ensemble with a black leather trench coat and her signature style thigh high boots.

We love how Mary J. Blige continues to redefine and reinvent herself after 20 years in the industry. Her Strength of a Women festival was exactly the missing puzzle in the Atlanta community and we admire her for being able to use her platform effectively and intentionally. With her second SOAW fest completed, we know that the third times a charm.

Strength of a Woman Fest 2023 Street Style in Atlanta

This weekend, the ‘GWORLS’ came out for all the festivities surrounding the Strength of a Woman Fest in Atlanta and we saw a range of different styles from influencers.

Amongst the crowd, the ladies below stood out for their innovative, and unconventional looks that definitely turned heads during the conferences and talks at Americas Mart in Atlanta.

Bombshells Amanda Dia (@Yourfavthickums,) and Aliyah Core (@aliyahsinterlude) looked very animated in their mini pleated skirts that they layered with studded belts which felt very 90’s. Their oversize fur boots were quite the statement to say the least and we love how they incorporated pink hues into their ensemble.

Celebrity makeup artist Latisha Chancey (@makeupbylatisha) who’s known for slaying all the ‘It Girls,” looked absolutely gorgeous in her emerald satin two-piece look with clear mules that had a gold heel.

Latisha wasn’t the only one to leave others green with envy, Criminal Justice advocate, Kareemah Hanifa showed up to the Strength of a Woman fest in a nude and cargo look. Most notable was her green Gucci hat styled atop of her hijab and accessorized with a green mini bag.

The pops of green accentuated her neutral tone look, and this is one instance where you should never underestimated the power of bomb accessories.

On the Scene at Strength of a Woman Fest 2023: CEO Claire Sulmers Partners with Toya Johnson, Yandy Smith, Jayda Cheaves, Marsai Martin & Many More

The Strength of a Woman Festival this past weekend was star-studded with some of the hottest celebrities touching down in Atlanta and creating all the buzz.

Of course Fashion Bomb Daily was on the scene to capture all the glorious moments of the 4-day fest, with our very own CEO Claire Sulmers shaking hands with some of the most prominent people in the industry.

From kickin’ it with Mary J. Blige on the first day of the summit to connecting with Love & Hip Hop producer Mona Scott Young, and still finding time to deliver a commencement speech at her high school alma mater Westminster, Claire showed up and showed out this weekend.

Serving a flawless look on the red carpet in her black on black look, Claire wore an off the shoulder asymmetrical Veronica Beard blazer, that she paired with patent leather open toe YSL heels. Celebrity make-up artist Latasha Wright had Claire’s beat on fleek and you know HR Wilson had her finger waves laid for the gods.

Claire had a moment to speak with actress and author Toya Johnson who sported a pink and silver two-piece ombre look that included the chicest flare pants. Johnson accessorized with a diamond choker necklace and a Cartier bracelet.

Along with Toya, Claire also got to vibe with Yandy Smith who was dripped in designer from head to toe. Yandy has been looking so good these days and perhaps having Mendeecees back has added to her everlasting glow. She opted for a light blue Louis Vuitton button up dress, with white Prada platform heels.

Contrary to Yandy Smith who looked sophisticated and business savvy, internet sensation Jayda Cheaves showed skin in a modern pinstripe crop top and skirt combo. Her pineapple yellow mini bag, went exceptionally well with her yellow Balenciaga stilettos and her high ponytail served us some sass on the red carpet.

Similar to Jayda, Actress Marsai Martin looked so youthful and playful with her grey sweater vest and denim skirt that had mini brown teddy bears pinned down her garments. The 18-year old ‘Black-ish’ star has really started to come out of her shell lately and she’s definitely on our radar.

In addition to the celebs enlisted, Claire also got to meet with so many other influencers and bloggers who are leading by example and making an impact. It was great to see Claire join Misa Hylton in Atlanta as earlier this month the two wrapped up a youth development program at Misa Hylton Fashion Academy in New York.

As you can see, Claire was making major waves at the Strength of a Woman festival in Atlanta over the weekend and it doesn’t stop there. We look forward to the Mary J. Blige fest and summit next year and stay tune for this years street fashion!

Cardi B Stepped Out for Mother’s Day Weekend in a Black Dion Lee Dress and Platform Han Kjobenhavn Shoes with Daughter Kulture Kiari

Miuccia Prada once stated that, “Fashion is an instant language,” and who better than Rapper Cardi B to remind of us of how true that statement is in a futuristic ensemble that looked like it was made for 2040.

The ‘Bodak Yellow’ star who ‘s known for setting trends, stepped out for Mother’s Day with her oldest daughter Kulture Kiari in New York in a strapless black Dion Lee dress with a pair of out-of-this-world Han Kjobenhavn shoes that look like they came straight out of Lady Gaga’s closet.

To say Cardi B ‘ATE’ would be quite the understatement and perhaps we owe credit to her New York fashion Stylist, Kollin Carter who has completely changed and elevated the rapper’s image since her early Love & Hip Hop days.

In addition to her mamma bear, Kulture Kiari stepped out serving us an ultra stylish kids look with a navy lace dress that was layered over a graphic tee to go with her black biker jacket. Her kids Gucci boots and oversized black shades let us know that Cardi B and Offset are raising a ‘diva-in-the-making.’

Here’s a close up of the Han Kjobenhavn shoes that Cardi B wore on Mother’s Day that are on a different level. As you can see they are modern, sculptural, and brilliantly made with silver hardware that is the base of the shoe and goes past the rapper’s knee. We were so hear for these shoes and Cardi B. looked insanely beautiful.

They say, ‘the devil is in the details,’ and Cardi B definitely covered all her bases. Keeping her accessories to a minimum, Cardi B wore silver YSL bangles to go with her black cutout dress and had graphics painted on her blonde butt-length hair that coordinated with her perfectly placed body tattoos.

A$AP Rocky Released a Series of Family Photos While Wishing his First Born RZA a Happy Birthday

The ‘Muva’ and father of the year have shown us why they will forever be a vibe through a series of family photos that A$AP Rocky shared over the weekend in celebration of their first born birthday.

After almost a year of not knowing, this month the couple released their son’s name as ‘RZA Athelston,’ which came as a surprise to many considering that the fashionable couple chose to name their son after the leader of the hip hop group, Wu-Tang Clan.

If you are wondering whether it was intentional, A$AP Rocky made it evident that in fact was with his caption on May 13th that stated, “WU TANG IZ 4 DA CHUREN 🤲” HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO MY 1st BORN . RZA.”

A$AP Rocky shared multiple photos of the trio from family portraits, to selfies and a late night on the beach. If you thought Rihanna and A$AP were stylish, RZA will perhaps take the reign and carrying on the family’s fashionable legacy.

RZA looked so adorable in his Dior alien shades to match his mother’s aesthetic, and his fuzzy sweater that matched A$AP Rocky’s hat above. The couple also gave us a glimpse into their home life with a mirror selfie image showcasing Rocky in what appears to be a Hermes scarf, and Rihanna in a multicolor knitted crochet dress. RZA opted for a green and white striped baby look to go with his Adidas Stan Smiths.

One thing for sure is that every time we see their son RZA (pronounced “Rizza”) he is smiling from ear to ear which is an indication of one happy baby. On this evening, the couple was spotted beach side during a vacation with their son, with Rihanna rocking a nude crochet cover up as she leaned in to kiss her beau who kept things simple with a bandana and graphic Tee.

We can tell that being a father brings A$AP Rocky so much joy, and among Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, we can’t tell who RZA looks more like. From the eyes and forehead up, we totally see Rihanna and from the nose down, the resemblance between the father and son duo is identical.

A$AP Rocky who isn’t known for sharing on Instagram too much, finally gave us a sneak peak into their family affair and we couldn’t be more delighted. As the couple prepares to welcome their second child, we cannot wait to see the expansion of this fashion-forward family.

Essential Products for Your 2023 Makeup Collection

fotografía de enfoque selectivo de la paleta de sombras de ojos

Finding makeup products that you actually enjoy using can be a real challenge sometimes. There are all kinds of great options out there, but not all of them will be the right choice for you. Then there are all the products that go viral online, only to turn your face into a clumpy mess when you actually try to use them. However, there are still plenty of makeup products, including cluster lashes, that are reliable enough to belong in any makeup collection.

When you’re on the hunt for your next favorite makeup item, keep in mind that there’s nothing wrong with being adventurous. It’s easy to stick with the brands that everyone’s familiar with, but brands like Pamplemousse could contain some hidden gems that you’ve been missing out on this whole time. Refining your makeup collection is all about trial and error, so don’t be shy about trying out new brands and products! You never know what you might discover.

Essential #1: Robust concealer

Concealer has one job: to hide blemishes. The problem is, a lot of sub-par concealers stop getting the job done as soon as there’s any friction, heat, or humidity. Environmental conditions could turn your flawlessly finished makeup into a streaky, faded mess, which is arguably even worse than wearing no makeup at all.

This is why a robust concealer is truly a treasure – you can rely on it to get you through the day with no drama, regardless of what life brings. Bonus points if the concealer has ingredients that promote the health of your skin, like licorice root extract. If your concealer can conceal and heal at the same time, you’ve got a winner on your hands…or rather, on your face!

Suggested concealer: Kulfi Beauty Main Match Concealer

Essential #2: Glowy foundation

Glowing skin is in for 2023, so if you want to wear full-coverage foundation without dulling your own natural radiance, you’ll need a foundation with a luminous finish. Liquid foundations are usually best for this, especially if you have dry skin – just look for an option with hydrating qualities. Your liquid foundation should give full coverage without looking cakey, and make your skin look hydrated and glowy without making it look greasy. Foundation gets buffed into every part of the face, so if you can find one that benefits the health of your skin that’s even better.

Suggested liquid foundation: Juvia’s Place I Am Magic Natural Radiance Foundation

Essential #3: Cream blush

From bronzers to blushes to eyeshadows, 2023 is all about using creams instead of powders. Just take cream blush, for example: it’s easier to blend, easier to build, and definitely more forgiving than its powdered counterpart. For those who want only the slightest hint of extra color, cream blush can be applied and blended with the lightest of touches. For those who want a more intense look, the same cream blush can be built up without looking overdone. Plus, a cream blush is the way to go if you want to preserve the glowy look from your liquid foundation.

Suggested cream blush: Half Magic Cheek Fluff Soft Blur Blush

Essential #4: Blush oil

The blush oil from Youthforia has been making waves all over TikTok, but is it really worth the hype? According to testers, the answer is yes. The special thing about this product is that it goes on as a neutral-colored oil, then reacts with the skin’s pH to create a uniquely flattering blush effect. Each person essentially gets their own customized results based on their skin’s chemistry. Plus, with dermatologist-approved ingredients like aloe vera and jojoba oil, it also acts as skincare. Those with oily skin may feel inclined to avoid this product, but dermatologists say it’s suitable for all skin types.

Suggested blush oil: Youthforia BYO Blush Color Changing and Tinted Blush Oil

Essential #5: Cream bronzer

When correctly applied, bronzers can add the perfect sun-kissed glow to your face. When incorrectly applied, bronzer can make you look like the Tin Man with a tanning bed addiction. Enter cream bronzers: they’re easier to apply, and blend more smoothly than powdered bronzers. They also tend to rest more lightly on the skin, which is an advantage if you’re using multiple other products like foundation, blush, highlighter, etc. If you get the right cream bronzer, you could also enjoy some hydrating benefits – something you’d never get with a powder. Whether you’re blending with a brush or with your fingers, cream bronzer will be forgiving enough to look good either way.

Suggested cream bronzer: Saie Sun Melt Natural Cream Bronzer

Essential #6: Liquid highlighter

Just like creams, liquid makeup products are a hot item in 2023. As far as highlighters are concerned, it totally makes sense that they’d come in liquid form – it’s perfect for adding a bit of extra sheen to your look. Highlighter isn’t known for doing the heavy lifting in most makeup ensembles; it isn’t usually applied in areas that are prone to cracking, like around the eyes or along the smile lines, so most people don’t focus on the technical aspects of their highlighters. However, you should still look for one that’s non-sticky, easy to apply and blend, and maybe even comes with a few beneficial ingredients.

Suggested liquid highlighter: e.l.f. Cosmetics Halo Glow Liquid Filter

Essential #7: Volumizing mascara

There’s always room in the makeup bag for some volumizing mascara; all but the most conservative makeup fans want to pump up their lashes now and again. The best volumizing mascara will have a combination of features that make it versatile, effective, and absolutely essential for most of your makeup looks. These features include having a lengthening effect, being waterproof, and coming with an applicator that amplifies the effects. In fact, some applicators are so good that people will wonder which fake lashes you’re using, or which eyelash curler you’ve got at home. With the right combination of mascara and applicator, a great volumizing mascara will never let you down.

Suggested volumizing mascara: Bossy Cosmetics Extremely Bossy By Nature Lengthening and Volumizing Mascara
