Last night was action packed, from video game launches in LA to Alicia Keys’s Keep a Child Alive Black Ball at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC.

The night’s host Alicia Keys looked lovely in a sheer black ensemble, offset by a cropped leather jacket and a netted head piece.

She grabbed a gorgeous pic with hubby Swizz Beatz.

Tyson Beckford graced the carpet in a velvet tux and Stubbs and Wootton skull adorned slippers.

Angela Simmons looked angelic in a white Olcay Gulsen dress. Hot!

Angie Martinez showed off her stems in a black cocktail dress.

The men were exceedingly dapper at this event! To wit, Carmelo Anthony in a tailored two piece.

Wale also represented for the gents in a velvet detailed ensemble.

And stylist Ty Hunter punched it up in green velvet.

Jeanette Jenkins opted for a sparkly strapless mini in a berry hue.

We’re experiencing a veritable heatwave in NYC: I of course have no complaints but am scared what may be on the wintry horizon.

Celebrities continued their red carpet reigns this week, as well as sporting printed separates, athleisure ensembles, and high-fashion frocks at awards shows, sightings in the world’s most stylish cities, and on stage.

Let’s see what they wore!

Naomie Harris posed alongside OMEGA President Stephen Urquhart at the brand’s Spectre New York Screening in a turquoise and black patent leather bodice draped Roksanda gown. This was one of her edgiest looks of the promo tour and I loved it!

Mexican actress Stephanie Sigman was the lady in red at the Spectre Mexico City Premiere in a long-sleeve embellished Armani Privé gown. She’s one to watch for next year: mark my words.

Rachel Roy slipped on a floral and dot print coat at the International Women’s Media Foundation Courage in Journalism Awards.

Zendaya Coleman was Fall-perfect in the Big Apple, sporting a long gray cardigan, joggers, and olive Nike kicks. I love athleisure.

That coveted $3,512 Balmain Double Breasted Velvet Dress and thigh-high boots were Leona Lewis’s choices while performing at the Music Industry Trust Awards in London. Hot!

Fleur East accented an oversized leather biker jacket with a black and white printed maxi skirt and Stella McCartney shoes.

Another stylish look from across the pond! Esperanza Spalding also hit the stage this week, serving up an eclectic look at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire Concert in London.

Tinie Tempah brought his mother along for the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards. He gave his grey suit some flair with teal tassel loafers. Isn’t he handsome?
