Both ladies bet on black, with Jada in a Balmain strapless beaded mini dress and K Michelle in a cut out bodysuit and fringed skirt.
The wildly cut back of these sleek, tall suede sandals sparkles with Swarovski crystals for a rock-glam finish.
Jada wins this round for me. She looks chic, covered up, and classy!
What do you think?
Her snake-effect jacket is crafted from textured leather. It features zipped cuffs and pockets, belt loops, a detachable belt, and an asymmetric zip fastening through the front.
Her black leather boots feature functional 1.5″ heels for a bit of lift and stud and chain embellishment.
I need both of these pieces in my life!

If Lil Wayne turns up to perform a set for you, you better turn up. That’s the lesson attendees of the Philipp Plein show learned this week at Milan Men’s Fashion Week.
Known for combining a rocker aesthetic with a street-minded look, Philipp Plein routinely turns his runway shows into full out performances. Fire, motorcycles and more have all been used to pump up the volume in the past. This season, the designer tapped rapper Lil Wayne to perform. The problem: his audience. Reportedly, a few minutes into his set, due to a lackluster response from the crowd, Weezy threw his mic and walked off stage. Prior to that, he was met with blank stares after coming out and no one would put their hands up when he tried to hype the crowd. An editor for London’s Financial Times described the incident in his article.
And while we can certainly empathize with how crazy fashion month gets, one would think they could muster up some sort of response for the internationally recognized artist.
This week has been quite a whirlwind, no? We’ve been head over heels amidst the mind-numbing Powerball fiasco ($1.6 billion to be exact), we anxiously watched President Barack Obama deliver his final State of the Union oration and we’re still reeling from Golden Globe overload. But, even as the week progressed, the flawless fashion never seemed to slow down.
So, join me as we get into this MASSIVE haul of our favorite celebrity looks!
Kelly Rowland looks so good, ya’ll! Oh my gosh! After my girl Faith dished on her Fox and FX 2016 Golden Globe Awards Party look, I couldn’t stop staring. The breathtaking beauty rocked a Charbel Zoe sheer illusion lace embellished gown which also features a train. I also loved the fiery red nails paired with this ‘fit. Go girl!
The 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards were held earlier this week and the stars definitely showed up and showed out! The red carpet sizzled as some of Hollywood’s finest graced the cameras with their effortless beauty and designer duds. Actress Cate Blanchett was a vision in a white fringed Givenchy number. Her glamorous gown showcased a vintage-inspired feel and screamed sophistication. Oh, and I loved the elegant detailing of the bodice!
Superstar Jennifer Lopez also attended the 73rd Annual Golden Globes but, this time, she steered clear of her usual sheer stunners. The fashionista chose to go bold for this momentous event as she donned a gold draped gown by the Italian powerhouse Giambattista Valli. This selection boasts a thigh-high slit, a fitted silhouette and a large amount of drama. The singer accented her ‘fit with shimmery pumps and a matching clutch.
Next up, we have the lovely Mary J. Blige! The iconic singer/actress made a chic appearance at the Stella McCartney Autumn 2016 presentation in the brand’s one-shoulder jumpsuit. With a few metallic accents and a statement-making blonde bob, Mary shut it all the way down. Hot!
Okay okay, so I have a confession. At first glance, I didn’t even realize this was Hilary Duff. I know, I know – crazy, right? Anywho, the actress/singer was spotted out and about in New York as she slayed per usual in a red Alexander Wang zip detail dress and Brian Atwood sandals. The style maven also kept a white Michael Kors trench on deck as she smiled for the paps. Hot!
Back at the Golden Globes, the always-fashionable Lady Gaga served up some serious vintage vibes in a sleek off-the-shoulder design by Atelier Versace. Although the gown skews simple, the unique silhouette gives this piece an extra dose of personality. I love that she kept her accessories to a minimum – uplifting double silver cuffs. This is such a classy look, don’t you agree?
Model Chanel Iman took the feminine route as she attended W Magazine’s It Girl Luncheon in a Jaime Lee Major lace two-piece set. Her dainty crop top features an off-the-shoulder feature and even houses pearl accents while her pencil skirt adds a bit of flirty appeal with sheer panels. Werk!
First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama supported her hubby President Barack Obama as he delivered his final State of the Union address on Tuesday. She exuded sheer elegance and grace as she donned a marigold Narciso Rodriguez sleeveless flared dress. Her bold selection instantly caught the attention of Instagramers everywhere and even caused quite a stir on the ‘net. According to CNN reports, the dress sold out at Neiman Marcus before the President could even finish his speech! Talk about possessing a powerful influence!
Zendaya Coleman rounds out our contenders for this week! The rising starlet served absolute sartorial perfection at the Golden Globe Awards as she turned heads in a deep berry floral peplum gown by Marchesa. (Honestly, this was one of my favorite dresses of the evening.) If you look closely, this gorgeous piece also houses a plunging neckline, a tiered effect and a fitted waist. I mean, really, is there anything this young woman can’t wear?!
Her burnt orange frock is crafted from a coral-effect knit. It boasts a round neck, long semi-sheer sleeves with padded shoulders, and nude stretch fabric lining.
Her gold snake-embossed mules feature sky-high 5″ heels.
Werk Alesha!
