Blac Chyna’s jumpsuit made in Nylon & features a trim, pleated waistband, exposed zipper that plunges all the way to the waistline, hip & ankle exposed zipper, and back pocket.
It has aviator inspired patches on the sleeve.
Rob’s simple hoodie has Villans on the front.

She accessorized with a Dior bag, an Albertus Swanepoel hat, and Louboutin heels.

I was sorting through the Fashion Bomb Daily archives and I noticed that it’s been a while since we’ve done a Rock It! or Knock It? feature! Personally, I’ve always loved these types of posts – it gives me an opportunity to see what our readers really think of the questionable trends circulating the ‘net. It’s always enlightening, lol.
So, with that said, in this edition we’re focusing on the socks and heels trend. Now, I’m a little hesitant to call it a “trend” but I believe it’s just one of things that requires a fearless approach to fashion and an impressive amount of confidence. Do you agree?!
Let’s take a closer look!
Recently, our girl Rihanna rocked her version of this trend while enjoying a night out! The style icon paired her very own Stance x Rihanna White Frostbite Socks with a Fendi Pink Lambskin Cocktail Dress and Isabel Marant Etoile Gilby pumps. Slay on!
In contrast to RiRi’s take, fashion stylist/blogger Al Malonga of Wardrobe Breakdown kept her layered ‘fit consistent by pairing burgundy socks with her black cutout booties. Perfect for winter, no?
This trend is also hot on the the concrete catwalk! This style maven chose the bold route as she donned a cobalt blue sweatshirt, black/white plaid pants and red ankle strap platforms. She also adds a bit of playfulness to her look by incorporating white frilly socks.
And, let’s not forget the real runway! Endless designers have featured the socks and heels mix including Bottega Veneta, Edun and Suno (pictured above). In this case, the fashion house went for printed socks and statement heels.
To round things off, this street style star was cold-weather ready as she paired her ankle strap heels and socks with a pleated skirt and a chunky knit. Her cat-eye stunners also inject a bit of pizzazz into her frock! (And, I’m completely lusting over her furry accent.) Yes!

Signing Out — Esmesha
With the ending of New York Fashion Week, there’s always one show in particular the entire Fashion World looks to: the ending show. Delegated to Marc Jacobs, the ending show is one that pulls all the strings of Fashion Week together, so the stakes become high as does the pressure. Marc Jacobs executed it all with grace.
The Fall 2016 collection boasted heavy cloaks, glammed-out gowns and coats and sky-high platforms. Equally as intriguing as the clothes were the hair and makeup, reminiscent of 1920’s finger-waves with heavy punk-goth black eyeshadow and lips.
Fashion stars like Lady Gaga made an appearance on the catwalk, appearing in a pussy-bow blouse along with a green floor-hitting coat with fur sleeves and platform boots. 
The entire collection circled around dark hues and Gothicism, with pops of color occasionally found in accessories or one statement piece, like pea greens, pale rose pinks and purples. The luxurious, macabre styling featured oversized sweatshirts worn over oversized black pants, spiderwebs, cats and rat motifs on fabric (which some of us may remember, Jacobs has used before).
Previous themes and design aesthetics shined through from Jacobs’ previous collections, including spliced sweatshirts and band jackets from Spring 2016, leather floral designs of Resort 2016, and polka dots of Fall 2011. Victorian collars, traditionally-tailored embroidery, and high full-out glam accompanied the looks as they sailed down the runway.
The collection was a standout collection that pushed dresses by volume, coats by fur and glitter, heels that reached epic heights and extreme layering of feathers, leather coats, and striped coats. Clothes were expertly stacked on top of each other, with fabric falling at different angles and lengths to present a jagged appearance while still adding a hint of femininity through color choice.
With over 60 looks to the collection, the variety was diverse and expanded into the multifaceted mindset of fashion and style, according to Marc Jacobs. Nothing was off the table as Jacobs explored dark dramatization, gothic romanticism, and the art of revamp.

Hey everyone! So sorry I couldn’t post my recaps the night of, but my life has been on 100 for the past three days straight.
Now that I’m back home, I’ll combine the events of Tuesday and Wednesday together for you! So after a long night of shows and getting home super late (the inevitable happened and I got lost on the train at 1 am), I woke up Tuesday morning to Grammy footage needing to be covered on the site. So while I’m on the East Coast writing show reviews for Fashion Week, we’re also tackling outfit details over on the West Coast! Talk about a strong team!
Needless to say, I was exhausted from the day before and made it a day of working on online content before heading to our first ever FashionBombDaily x CCW initiative with Shop Jesse Queen. I thought to myself, Claire would be here soon, everything would go perfect, life would be swell.
Ha!
The phone rings. Claire’s flights been delayed and I’ve been tasked with some errands to run before the event. Okay…*breathes deeply* Game time.
After running errands throughout the day, I headed into the city to the venue to make sure everything was going well before showtime. Sam met me there, and with nowhere to get dressed, I hid in the bathroom. I attempted to put makeup on with the lighting, which was EXTREMELY bad (the fact I even looked decent and not like a clown is nothing short of miraculous folks).
A few hours in, we got word that Mama Claire was in the house, so we definitely got the party started! June Ambrose, Tyson Beckford, Ty Hunter and so many more came out to show love to the collection, which I personally enjoyed viewing as the pieces were versatile and quite timeless. Ty was gracious enough to provide Ty-Lites for the models throughout the night, so I was able to photo of them all using their light for a photo. Now I definitely need one!
So many of you guys recognized me and came and chatted it up with me, which I definitely appreciated! I was happy I could talk about Fashionbombdaily, being an all-hands-on intern (one of you called me Andy from The Devil Wears Prada, but I can assure you, Claire is not a Miranda Priestly) and pursuing dreams and aspirations both in media and in editorial. You guys are actually awesome and the love was amazing!
The night ended with some time spent out on the town, catching up with Claire and dining with friends for my last official night in New York. I have to say, I won’t miss the weather but I will miss the food…
One would THINK that’d be the end of the work, but oh would they be wrong! Wednesday morning I woke up bright and early, gathering my last minute items before heading out to two fashion shows back to back. Naeem Khan and Mohapatra both took place at Moynihan Station off 33rd street, and it was fascinating to see the juxtaposition of the two designers. I definitely loved them both. 
Personally, Khan took it home for me, as his collection had a lot of golds, embellishments and color, so it’s right up my alley! Also, this year they partnered with the Make-A-Wish foundation, so a young lady was able to live out her fashion dreams and walk the runway with him! I was literally in tears.
In the spirit of the collection, I opted for this Indian-inspired brown dress I had, with cream lace trimming around the edges and burnt orange embellishments. I kept it relaxed with matching orange earrings and kept my hair up in a bun after snagging random locs the day before with my purse. Ouch!
After my shows, Claire let me know she was speaking on a panel over on Broadway, so I decided to tag along. Not only was she bomb, but the other panelists were able to also speak to the changing world of media, blogging and social media presence. I think I can say everyone walked away with new knowledge of some sort (and isn’t that the whole point?). 
All in all, I’m so happy about NYFW which taught me about so much more than just fashion on the runway. Aside from the fact many of you now have a face to my name, I learned how vital things such as hard work, tenacity, and perseverance are to the things you want in life. To be entrusted with such a huge task as New York Fashion Week is something I never took lightly, but I enjoyed every single moment of it and was glad to share it with you.
